The makeup artist stepped forward and touched up Qiao Xiaren and Jason’s makeup again, secretly giving Qiao Xiaren a gesture of encouragent. The surroundings were filled with kind and positive voices, continually cheering her on.

Fang Yun’s eyes barely left her, waiting for the mont she might collapse. She couldn’t accept losing the opportunity that was almost within her grasp.

"Action."

With the director’s cue, Qiao Xiaren carried the bouquet and walked forward. As if her injury was nonexistent, she walked naturally and gracefully, just like a true bridesmaid offering blessings to the bride.

Fang Yun’s eyes widened so much they almost popped out. Her gaze fell to Qiao Xiaren’s feet—how was this possible? With such swelling, she could still walk as if everything was fine?

How could this be...

The director watched the monitor and noticed that Qiao Xiaren’s condition at this mont was remarkable, as though she had never been injured. Sothing seed to be sustaining her, allowing her to walk upright, proud and confident.

Jason maintained his professional composure as an actor, but inwardly, he was clearly shocked!

How painful must this be... How is she enduring it?

A faint ache, tinged with an inexplicable bitterness, spread in his heart. He recalled the image of soone when they first debuted—persisting just like this, so stubborn.

The director watched through the lens and revealed an expression of approval. This young woman, albeit inexperienced, displayed an extraordinary resilience!

Fang Yun’s fingers slowly curled, unable to determine what emotion to feel in response to the scene before her. Frustration welled up, as if a significant opportunity had slipped through her grasp.

She had paid a painful price to participate in this advertisent shoot. When Fang Yun thought about the humiliation she endured yesterday, she bit her lip so hard it almost broke.

She wasn’t like what others speculated, backed by so powerful benefactor. If she wanted access to resources, she had to pay an equivalent price to the agency—even if the price brought her suffering.

When Qiao Xiaren injured her foot monts ago, Fang Yun truly believed her ti had co, that fate had handed her a golden chance. But who knew that this "opportunity" was just a fleeting illusion!

"Fang, are you okay?" Her assistant seed to notice sothing amiss and asked if she was feeling unwell. Fang Yun shook her head.

Yunduo glanced at her, secretly feeling smug.

Did she really think opportunities would just fall from the sky? Xiaren had put in so much effort previously. Without establishing a solid foundation in S Country, it would have been impossible for her to secure resources like Louis DIO in M Country.

The scare from this incident nearly horrified Yunduo, but luckily Xiaren managed to pull through. However, that foot definitely had to be checked at the hospital later; otherwise, a ligant sprain could seriously escalate into a more severe injury.

"Cut!"

As soon as the director yelled "Cut," Yunduo and Annie dashed forward like sprinters in a hundred-ter race, rushing to support Qiao Xiaren just in ti. "Are you alright?"

Qiao Xiaren didn’t speak, only nodding slightly.

Guemov was planning to carry her to a car to go to the hospital, but Jason unexpectedly, without a word and silently, picked Qiao Xiaren up and steadily walked toward the car.

The director, standing behind them, was so shocked that his jaw nearly dropped.

Was this the Jason he thought he knew? The director knew he shouldn’t be thinking that, but honestly, he’d never seen Jason look so gentle before!

"Thank you."

Qiao Xiaren smiled faintly and thanked him. Jason still maintained his expressionless deanor, nodding and turning back to leave.

Annie and Yunduo hurried into the car, urging the driver to head to the hospital quickly.
