It’s simply because there’s a big ti difference between S Country and M Country, they could hardly find a normal ti to call or video chat, and Xiaren didn’t want him to stay up late for her.

After ending the call, he kissed the photo of the person on his phone screen and finally went to sleep, feeling at ease.
