"Please follow , Mr. Jiro." The guard gestured ahead to Jiro. The guy's posture now curved for the important guest.

Jiro looked towards the general direction Henry walked, before silently moving along with the guard. The guard brought him to an unfamiliar place, which was basically everywhere for the blind man… but not to him.

He was special, though in a cruel way.

Jiro couldn't see anything since the mont of his birth, but as a replacent, he could 'sense' things much more than others.

He could feel where the air moved, where it ca from and where it moved, which helped him foresee the weather. When he goes to places, he could morize them by their landscape, scent and many other small details incomprehensible to others.

That's why as he stood at the unknown place, he could tell it was a large space at the first floor of a house or mansion that had multiple people working in various places and floors.

"Sit here, sir. The maids should already know about you." The guard said and looked around hastily for the maids. As he looked back, he felt a pang of fear as he had unintentionally brought the blind guest a step away from the couch.

But to his surprise, Jiro moved to the right and sat perfectly at a corner of the couch, as if he could see it.

"Wh- What?!" The guard felt mortified, 'How did he know? Wasn't he supposed to fall down?'

'I- I don't want him to fall, but how in the goddess's na did he do that?'

The guard stuttered silently as pointed a shaking finger at Jiro, "You…"

Jiro's face turned in his direction and the guard paused, not knowing what to say.

"You should step away for the lady." Jiro suddenly said.

"Wha-"

"Excuse ?" The guard heard a voice behind him, "Would you mind stepping aside? I need to bring this for the gentlen."

Behind him, was a young maid, holding a silver tray which had biscuits and a teapot with cups. The guard automatically stepped away and the maid placed the tray before wooden table, "Do you want anything els- Oh my!"

The maid gasped with her hands covering her mouth, noticing that Jiro was blind by the whiteness of his eyes, "I'm sorry, sir. I didn't know about your… condi-"

"It's okay." Jiro just nodded.

"Hmm…" The maid thought before opening her mouth, "Would you like to help you eat them?"

"Huh… uh, no." Jiro raised a brow and shook his head.

The maid sighed and stood up, 'A sha… he looks cute.'

She turned around and coughed at the guard, "Sir"

"Uh, yes."

"Would you please step aside again; I need to attend my duties."

"Oh!" The guard blushed at his mistake, now realizing that he was again blocking the way for her. He quickly stepped aside and was about to say sothing to converse.

The maid intentionally quickened her pace, leaving the young man behind with his mouth open, unable to utter.

"Well…" He sighed, "That happens."

The guard looked back and his eyes flickered once more as he saw Jiro holding a porcelain cup filled with hot tea. His mind wondered, 'I didn't see the girl didn't hand him the tea so how… wait! Was there tea already in the cup or did he…'

Thinking such, his eyes glared at Jiro, wondering whether this guy was actually blind or sothing else entirely.

"You shouldn't gawk at people."

"Oh, sorry! I didn't -" The guard paused and his mind wondered to the dark place once more. Though he quickly stopped as Jiro's blank white irises stared back at him creepily.

The guard gulped, uttered a hasty goodbye and quickly left.

Hearing his hurries steps, Jiro smiled slightly while drinking the hot tea.

To observant folk, it seed as if Jiro could see things by the way he operated. But the truth was that, he is blind. Though that didn't beco a disadvantage for long when he started sensing his surroundings by the sound they were.

It was like invisible waves bouncing off solid objects that gave him the idea. When he was young, it was just darkness for him, but as he aged, his senses developed exponentially beyond human asures and made him understand things that seed supernatural.

At first, with sound or vibrations, he could tell the distance of so objects close to him. Later, those abilities developed so far that now within 30 ters, he could tell the outline and shape of within very accurately. Though, it wasn't just limited to this range, he could sense further, but it isn't as good things within the range.

But that wasn't all he noticed, he had heightened abilities. Like sll, taste, touch and others that he could not understand how it was possible for him. Because any normal person cannot achieve what he can have easily.

Especially, if they cannot see it.

It was with this strange ability of his, Jiro was able to dominate the underground fights. Until, one night soone by the na Henry called him. After that, the fights he got were all too weak with undesirable winnings. Trying other places didn't do much as they rejected him too quickly for it to be a coincidence.

Jiro quickly learned what was happening. They were caging him, cutting off his roads so that the only road would lead to the guy who gave Jiro a frightful feeling.

The quirky, greedy and powerful voice had co off disarming. To Jiro, it was even more dangerous than those that showed harm outward, as they were straighter to deal with than those like him. Those smiles were nothing but venomous snakes waiting for the mont to strike and strike vehently.

So now, Jiro didn't have any choice but wait for that sa man to call upon him. Ti passed slowly and slowly for the enhanced blind man as his first cup of tea finished long ago. He didn't drink anymore nor did anything else happen other than the sa maid refilling the teapot.

Ti didn't matter for Jiro. He had waited a whole week for Henry, wasted ti and was rejected multiple tis by his guards. But Jiro didn't lose hope nor will he lose it now.

Not when he needed every bit of help for that matter.

And like that Jiro waited quietly until he sensed a person upon his 'sight'. But it was not Henry.

"I think I have seen you sowhere."

Jacob said as he looked at the guy curiously, especially his eyes. He already knew that Jiro was here soti ago and seeing him still here without any jitter or impatience, made him curious.

"Are you one of the regulars from 'Madam Helena's' place?"

"No" Jiro shook his head strongly, "My na is Jiro… but you might know by another na called 'Blind Monk'."

Jacob's eyes flickered with recognition as he nodded, "Oh, yeah, now I rember. You're that guy who could very precisely hit his opponents for soone who's blind." He smiled before it wavered, "…Forget what I said earlier."

Jiro blinked, saying nothing.

"So, what are you here for?"

"I don't know."

"You don't know?"

"I don't."

"…"

"…"

"How long have you been sitting there?"

"Three Hours and Forty-seven minutes."

"…an acute prediction." Jacob blinked suspiciously, feeling this guy wasn't normal, "Do you want to call the big guy?"

"Thank you, but I'm sure, Mr. Henry will et when he wants to."

That raised a brow, "Alright then…"

Jacob stood up and left, but not before giving the guy a look from the back. He knew Jiro couldn't see him… but sohow felt that the guy could tell that he was looking at him.

'First Alice and now this.'
