"Bu- But boss, doing that would be a problem." Barnical said while stamring, "The audience would not like a sudden change like that."

"And besides that would not be fair-"

"You talking to about fair, Barnical?" I raise my voice just a bit higher as the guy quiets down, "You telling , a blind man fighting soone else is fair... soone equipped with a sigmat ring?"

Barnical quieted down at that and couldn’t know what to say.

But I wasn’t finished yet, "And you don’t just give him any guy but one with a Yellow Sigmat Ring at that... now you tell a blind man fighting with just his bare fucking arms with that guy is FAIR?!"

My words weren’t exaggeration, they were true.

Let’s forget the specialty of Blind Monk here, frankly other than , nobody else knows him and just sees him as another perforr.

For all that’s true, that guy’s seriously blind. But he isn’t the one I wanna talk about, it was Bone Man or rather the ring he possess.

It was a Yellow Sigmat Ring.

I know... a yellow one, it’s like the second least in popularity, right?

But no no... that’s not how it goes.

We know that Red rings are the worst or the ones that stand at last and Yellow is the next one. The difference of strength between this two are miles away.

If Red could ignite a small burst of fla, then Yellow could practically create a small bomb or even a very powerful one depending on the user.

After Yellow cos Blue, which now gets on another level at power that is able to change the course of field pretty quickly.

We won’t even talk about Pink ones, those are just OP.

Now the thing between this three rings is that, this three are all publicly acquirable. The Pink is too... but you need to have paper reasons and money to buy one... even Lords can’t buy it as they cost hella too much.

Courtesy of them that I am becoming very rich by just selling one or two.

So the other three would seem a bit price reasonable, right?

Nope!

They all cost a lot of money.

Why?

Well, when they grant you the power to do magical things and bend the power of reality, then why the fuck shouldn’t they drain your bank account?

Even if we’re talking about a Red sigmat ring, that thing costs a few hundred pounds at least, even used ones left by dead people cost a hundred pounds or less.

Counting above that, Yellow rings cost close to a thou, if not several depending on their affinity. Blue ones require multiple zeros, no matter the affinity.

Now if soone is capable enough to buy a Blue one or even was granted by soone, they wouldn’t need to fight here as they could easily get into a great rcenary group or so lord’s camp.

So that’s why you wouldn’t see any fight with a blue ringed guy under here... and if you do, it’s probably because they lost too much money or they just want so blood.

Now after all that deviation, let’s talk about the unfairness.

Since Blue ranks are cut off from the ring, Red rings are the norm of Sigmat fights and Yellow ones are the peak of what you would get of the Sigmat Fights here.

And my friend here is fighting one who is in the upper echelons of sigmat fighters. Soone with the license to beat or kill his opponent.

So how is this fair?

"Still Boss..." My mind wonders back to Barnical, "The audience... they already bet too much on the fight, if we change it so suddenly there would be problems."

I look down and see Blind Monk trying to defend against the aggressive Bone Man and failing, "Then let’s change that too."

"Hm?" Barnical raised a brow.

...

Blind Monk tilted his head right as a bone that looked like a sharp finger shot past him, but he didn’t stop. He quickly closed his chest with both forearms as a punch hit him.

"Bam!"

"Glurgh!"

Blood spurted out of him as he flew back and hit the cage, shaking the stage.

"Da- Damn! He’s really trying to kill ." Blind Monk muttered as he felt the enhanced bone covered punch of his opponent, "I need to find a way to get a feel of his movents."

Blind Monk tried to feel his opponent, but with body covered by bones, he couldn’t hear the muscle movents or know until it was too late. The only ones he could dodge and block were because so parts of Bone Man weren’t covered and they gave him so suggestions.

"This ends here, you cheat!" Bone Man slamd his bone covered fists together as they made a resounding sound that pained him, "I don’t care about this shitty client, I’m gonna break you!"

’Maybe I can use his anger...’

"1, 2, 3... 1, 2, 3... is the mic working? I think so." Suddenly, the Announcer’s words could be heard, "Well guys, not to distraught you or anything but there’s going to be a change to this fight."

"What?"

"What does that an?"

"Are they going to cancel the fight?"

"Does that an; I’m going to lose my mone-"

"Hold Up!" The announcer spoke loudly, stopping the spectators, "Before any of you bright minds get any bright ideas, I’m gonna stop them."

"No, the fight’s not going to end or are your bets are going to be nullified. The change would be just on the fight or actually the fighters... a change that would make the fight... a bit fair-"

"Shit! I am going to lose my money!"

"That’s cheating! Give my money back!"

"SHUT UP!!" The Announcer spoke loudly as everyone quieted down and he coughed, "Now since you’re finally calm, let finish please."

"Yes, there’s going to be a change." The Announcer nodded solemnly, "Which is why we’re going to give you guys a chance too."

"A chance to change your bets if you want. Now would be the only mont you are allowed to change your bets before the change and NO! I won’t tell you what the change is."

"No take backs or anything after the bets have changed. You will have to own whatever the result would be." The Announcer said and looked at everyone, "There’s going to be a five-minute stop in which you can change them."

With that, the guy stopped as the audiences started talking amongst themselves, deciding, so already getting up to change their bets.

"Hey! What is this about?" Bone Man asked, "I didn’t hear nothing about a change."

"Because there wasn’t going to be any." The Announcer calmly walked down to the cage, "Now there’s one."

Bone Man frowned, "I don’t like it."

"Well shit, do you want to stop it then?" The Announcer sarcastically smiled, "The Boss wants a change, so there’s gonna be a change."

"The only thing you can do is either wait quietly for the fight to begin or change your bet."

"Fuck no! I ain’t changing mine. I’m gonna win, there’s no doubt about it!"

"Good for you." The Announcer said boringly before looking at Blind Monk, "And you, do you want to change your bet?"

Blind Monk shook his head, "I want to hear about this change? What did you an when you said it will be fair?"

The Announcer smiled at that, "The thing about it being fair... well, it depends on all you."
