Before their eyes stood, The Queen, Abigail Bloodborne.
The Queen stood tall over her red dress that flowed back into a long end. Her eyes sharp and yet kind for the mont while her red hair hailed her royalty.
Imdiately, all the Valkyries bowed before the woman, “Your Majesty!”
Their bodies trembled, not with excitent but fear, except for the little one. The other two may not know much about her, but what they’ve heard was enough to give them the ‘shakes’.
“Please, you don’t have to keep bowing before . I’m not going to eat you.” Abigail’s voice was warm like the sun.
Keira smiled under Abigail’s vision as she felt excited before the queen. While the other two could only keep their inner thoughts deeply locked in as they nodded respectfully and stood up… maintaining their distance.
Subtly, all of their eyes went down onto Abigail’s stomach and they all took a unified gulp before quickly looking back up.
‘The rumors are true.’
Abigail’s stomach floated way too much and her body stayed way too lean for her it to be just gas. All three acknowledged that her majesty was very much pregnant.
But in no way in hell, would they ever speak it out.
Abigail smiles, looking down at her stomach and carefully rubbing it, “Is it that shocking?”
“What!” All three exclaid in unison as they see Abigail’s understanding smile.
Velma stuttered, “Ho- How could that be, your Majesty? We are definitely not shocked to see you pregnancy, definitely not because it’s unbelievable! It’s very believable, in fact I believe you are pregnant and would give birth to a splendid King!”
Then she realized her mistake, “I- I an that, it could be a girl too and she would be a queen… or the next child could be the king or… or…” Velma has lost connection with the server.
“Nice going, nobility.” Marva murmured.
Keira smiled awkwardly and looked away. Velma’s face lost all color and she wanted to dig a hole to hide herself into.
“Hehe… thank you very much for the kind congratulation.” Abigail smiled, “My son would indeed grow up to be a rciful and kind king under all of your guidance.”
All three Valkyries outwardly smiled hearing such words. The two experienced ones almost forgot how dangerous the pregnant woman before them is.
“Yes… and even if it is a girl, she would be a great queen as well like her mother.” Lord Hiloway said.
“No!” Abigail sharply cut him off as everyone felt a heavy aura descending upon them, “My child is a He, and He will be a great king. I know he will.”
Lord Hiloway’s hand shook as he carefully twirled his mustache to calm himself, “Yes- Yes, your majesty knows the best. Forgive for insinuating sothing uncomfortable.”
Abigail who was sharp a mont ago, cald down and smiled at him, “Oh, it’s who’s sorry Lord Hiloway. I had lost my calm for a mont there and no, you did not insinuate anything.”
Lord Hiloway still fearfully smiled, not saying anything that would agitate the most dangerous woman in the kingdom.
“Why don’t we start with the basics.” Abigail said as Hiloway nodded and he walked to the board with the map.
“As I’ve said before, this is the map of the Religias County and it is under impending doom at the mont. A problem about bandits that they have been facing for a while.”
“The Religias are one of my most loyal families.” Abigail added, “They’ve always answered my call and have not stepped back before animosity. I cannot let their devotion be unanswered.”
“The problems they face, needs to be wiped off once and for all. This Bandit King that has remained for more than 20 years, has to be finished now.” Abigail turned to the won, “And it falls on you brave compatriots to finish that job.”
“I hope that I’m not thrusting too much on you.”
The Valkyries banged their hands on their chests hard, “Your words are our command, Your Majesty.”
Abigail nodded, “Good! Lord Hiloway.”
“Yes” Hiloway pointed to a large round circle surrounded by very small circles, “Your destination is here, Whitedon city. Her majesty will be giving you command of 15 thousand soldiers and you would report directly to Lord Seman.”
’15 Thousand!’ All of them thought of that high number.
“Lord Hiloway, isn’t the number of soldiers too many.” Velma said, “I an, we have never been given authority over such a big force before. Wouldn’t it be satisfactory to have soone more experienced be given command?”
Hiloway looked towards Abigail and she spoke, “Velma Faris”
“Yes” Velma stood straight.
“I have seen your record and it is quite good. Your ability to command forces under ergency state and guide them through tricky situations has been a key point for your calling.”
Velma smiled proudly at that.
“But as good as that resu is, it’s not enough.” Smile gone, “You still need to learn a lot about the field and learning from a respected commander like Seman would be good for you.”
“Tell , Ms. Firas, do you want to beat the No. 01 Valkyrie one day and take her place?” Abigail asked.
Velma nodded quickly, fire quietly burning in her eyes, “Yes, I do your majesty! It’s every Valkyries dream to be the best.”
Abigail nodded again, “Good, there’s ambition in you. Now Ms. Marva Celeste, let’s talk about you.”
“?” Marva stuttered, “But I’m fin- fine, your majesty.”
“Strength wise, you are strong but you can still take it further. I believe you have the potential go higher.” Abigail stopped for a mont, “And then theirs your social talent.”
‘Annnd, I’m done.’
“There’s not much problem with it.”
“Hm?” All three Valkyries looked up and asked, “No problem?”
“Yes, there are far more violent and stupid people with worse attitudes.” Abigail gave an innocent smile, “And you are much better than them.”
“Hehe” Marva rubbed her nose with glee.
“But…” Abigail changed her tone, “That’s for people who are strong enough to have that authority. You frankly, don’t have that.”
“Huh?”
“Take it directly from , Marva. Either you get strong and or you change your behavior understand?” Abigail’s voice was cold.
“Ye- Yes, Ma’am.” Marva’s back shook straight in fear.
“This opportunity before you are exactly that, an opportunity to get strong.” The smile on Abigail returned again, “I hope you don’t squander it.”
“I- I won’t, your majesty.”
Keira who knew it was her turn now, already looked down.
“Finally, Ms. Keira Bilgard.” Abigail went towards her and lifted her head up, “You’re doing fine, young lady.”
“Huh? Are you sure?” She asked and then quickly changed her words, “I- I an-”
“It’s alright, I understand.” Abigail said, “The reason I’ve called you is because, your potential is one of the highest I’ve ever seen… just like the current No. 01’s.”
“The Current…”
“You will be helping your seniors and learning from them.”
“With all that done, there’s one more thing for you to know about.” Abigail turned to Marva, “I have a special job for you.”
“?
Abigail went to the board and pointed to a picture of soone quite burly and strong, a figure Marva instantly recognized, “He is soone of quite importance to our Kingdom and it is your job to protect this man.”
“I don’t need to introduce him as I understand that you know him already.” Marva nodded absently.
“Alright… make sure to give Mr. Tax a pleasant company.”
