Chapter 394: Chapter 394 – Temporary Leader [ Part 3 ]

We were moving with a steady speed towards the building.

I’m sure by now, they have seen us moving. It would be stupid not to see a big white steel block walking towards them in broad daylight with a large army.

We could have gone faster and made them panic but didn’t. I wanted the stealthy platoon to reach their spot so our delay was a distraction for them.

From here, I didn’t need my eyes zooming for all of us to see that the bandits were panicking just as we had planned. They mostly pointed at and said sothing which I could not understand.

‘Probably thinking what is that.’

We were still around a kiloter away from them when I stopped and look back. Platoon A with its 70 Soldiers stood behind as I order them, “You know what to do. We will act as decoy and let Platoon C get in and secure as much hostages as possible before acting.”

“And if they fail… well, you know what to do aight?”

“Yes, sir!” They loudly bellowed as I smile.

“Shields Up!”

They did as told and slowly moved forward.

We were giving ti as decoys but I suddenly see soone from the bandit raise his hand. The guy wanted to talk out.

I raise my hand and stop the n, “Yeah!” My voice was so loud, it easily passed the space and even shook so bandits.

The bandit who had a grin on him couldn’t help but mutter, “Guy can definitely scream.” Then scread himself, “Why don’t we talk this out before doing sothing we’ll both regret?”

“Regret?… there’s only one side that’s doing that and it’s not us.” I tell him, “If you’re already scared then bent down and surrender, it’s just that easy.”

The bandit smiled, turned around and spread his hands, “What do you say guys? You wanna give up?”

So low murmurs ca that were inaudible while one guy almost said it, “Yeah, why no-”

“Shut up!” The negotiating bandit quietly scread, “Are you stupid? I’m trying to get a good deal here and you’re thinking of eating jail food, is that it?”

“…If I get to survive then its probab-”

“Soone tie him up and put a cloth over his mouth.” As the guy said, they took him away and he turned to smile at Henry, “As you saw, nobody is interested!”

On the other side, Henry looked a bit confused at the small bickering that happened.

‘Did that guy seriously did what I think he did? If that’s so then…’ My mouth curved up, ‘They are more desperate than I thought.’

‘But why is that so? And why are there numbers so low and wounded?’

I have a lot of questions but tune them out, “That’s unfortunate, seems like I have no choice but to kill every single one of you and make an example of it for my future problems!”

I turn around, expecting him to start the real talk… and behold.

“Hey hey hey… alright alright, I guess you’re right, we should carefully think about your suggestion.” The bandit had a smug smile as he lied through his teeth, “But don’t you want to see what you’ll be regretting if you fight us.”

“Regret? Dude, what are you talking about?” I bluff.

“There are so guests I have with . People that are important to you.”

“The only ones important to are safely guarded inside the house and I don’t have any favorite whores too so don’t think you’re right about that.” I say as Oppet looked carefully at my back.

“I have soone very special that you’ll miss dearly if sothing unfortunate were to happen to her.” The bandit didn’t give up and clapped, “Bring her out, guys.”

Suddenly, my brows went up. ‘Her? Just what is this shit talking about? Who does he have?’

It didn’t take long to understand what this guy was talking about. Because the person he had with him, was none other than Samantha.

Samantha Fucking Religias!

Not only but even the people behind went eyes wide at her reveal. Oppet lost it and was about to run for her, “Madam!” But I pushed him back.

I saw Samantha, she wore a shirt and pants that seed comfortable for a guy and had her hands tied behind her. Her face had a few scratches, I guessed were the results of struggling and fighting. She also looked embarrassed at her own exposure.

“Ma- Madam! We must save her!” Oppet said and I felt the desperation from him.

“Shut up, Oppet!”

“But sir, it’s mada-”

“I know who it is. But I need you to quiet down.”

Oppet who was about to talk back, saw Henry’s calm yet dangerous glint in his eyes, “Losing your wits in front of the enemy ans you’re already defeated.”

“Don’t worry, with here. They won’t be able to lift a finger on her.”

Finally, Henry’s tall visage made a crucial role as Oppet and those that heard him looked at him in a brighter light.

Henry was calm and collected, exactly how Klein would react at this mont.

“What? Did you guys finally lose those shining balls you’ve had?” The bandit said as he held Samantha’s hand and forcefully showed her to us, “Look! We have your precious lord’s child. Do you still think it would be best for us to surrender!”

“Damn you!” Samantha struggled but the bandit carefully held her, “Using a girl to blackmail others, don’t you have sha?”

“Of course I don’t. I’m a bandit!” The bandit replied with a smug face.

Instead of replying, I turn my head to the side and then up, checking sothing before pulling my hand up and ready to flick at him.

Oppet realized what I was doing and imdiately freaked but ultimately stayed quiet as I shush at him.

“Shush… wits, Oppet.”

The bandit on the other hand didn’t, so he asked, “What are you doing? Don’t tell you’re telling her secret hand signs. She won’t be able to do anything with grabbing onto her.”

“No… I’m just checking if the angle is right for the shot.” I tell him.

The bandit went confused. ‘A shot? From such a faraway place? What is he-‘ Suddenly he’s eyes widened.

“Yo- You don’t an that thing, right? It would be impossible for you to hit from so far!” The bandit stamred as he rembered a terrifying detail about Henry.

The Steel giant was known for his viciousness. But his most famous attack was from his sigmat. It was an invisible shot that was impossible to defend against.

“I know it’s far but…” I turn my head a bit and correct my finger while saying, “But I’m 70% sure it’ll hit.”

Hearing that, the bandit stumbled, “What the?!… what if it hits her? You are joking right!… right?”

“Well, it’s better for her to live with one hand less than not live at all. As ti goes, she’ll probably adjust to it.”

Forget about the bandit, even Samantha and Henry’s n now looked at him with fear. The respect they had just a mont ago quickly changed as they couldn’t tell if he was bluffing or not.

“That’s why, if you try to forcefully touch her again or do anything… I won’t hesitate to join in on the fun, understand?” I say with an innocent smile.
