The Angel is nad Wrath. Many might obfuscate the na and nature of an angel depending on the domain they rule, a misconception generally. A divine being won’t be incomplete or incompetent.
These beings had a will of their own. Even though they were the incarnation of all the wrath that existed in the world, the being that personified it barely seed to show much emotion, more so anger. Besides the slight interest that she held toward , there was nothing else in her eyes. She was truly a pure being that only ca here to do a job.
"A feathered serpent?" she asked, which did an that my plan sowhat worked. As is generally the case, most Angels are innocent. They only follow the will of their gods without ever making a mistake. Either that will bring misery upon the world or the greater good, the Angel never cares; all it does care about is fulfilling its duty.
A perfect servant, as I said before. Of course, such perfection itself has so flaws.
’Those emotions gave it away.’ Although the little girl tried to hide it under the mask of coldness, I could see the facade clearly. This girl, or this vessel, is not that compatible with the being that houses it. Which ant that the strength this Angel was capable of imposing on the world wouldn’t be too strong.
For one, due to certain restrictions, nothing above Legend can exist on the mortal plane. Making it so that there are no forces under heaven or earth that can impose strength greater than Legend and harm the very fabric of reality.
And even under such restriction, if these greater beings wish to impose their strength, then they would still need a material body that can handle them and their strength. And it’s rare for one to find a perfect match.
Just like the scene in front of .
So what do we get, when a Simple Angel that does what is ordained by its god, is rged with a little girl that can neither truly make it use its full strength, nor is it compatible enough that the Angel’s will overpower the little girl?
Well, the result is a bit wonderful. "Not a Feathered one, but a Serpent with Wings that has so feathers on it..."
"The Lord had spoken, he wants you only."
"I am bound, and weak, it’s never a loss to go back with after you give that thing a deeper look?" I spoke again, hoping my simple words would work. But, I expected a bit too much of this little girl. "No, I will bring you back." She spoke, not moving an inch, though I did notice her eyes looking in the direction.
With her strength, who knows if she had already seen the serpent in its full glory? Well whatever the case was, the plan did fail.
Or so many might have believed. ’Go away kids.’ Team one remained ignorant of my departure from the body of the puppet, it would take a while for them to notice my absence, considering how much of a blabbermouth I was. My silence would feel deafening to them.
Though this is good, this is better than then trying to look where I was and accidentally perceiving the existence of this monstrosity. Which would an their doom considering how weak they are.
Of course, that didn’t an I lost at all. No, in a way, I earned enough ti for soone else to catch up to us.
As for who you might ask?
’This fool, going to the cave instead of coming here?’ Guess the trap I had set up was too good, even soone like that got fooled by it and was still looking for in the vicinity. ’Is he a good choice though?’ Was my prevailing thought, before finally feeling good that the eyes of this little girl had also turned toward this figure in the distance.
"Kairut my friend, long ti no see," I spoke in a calm tone, though it might be due to the relationship we both used to have and how this guy virtually worshiped for immortality. He did turn around and look in my direction with so curiosity followed by a hint of horror.
He was no fool, he could see the figure next to was dangerous. And from his movents, he planned to move back at this mont. "I am no friend of yours." He spoke while backing off and feeling a bit weird about this whole situation.
But, it was already too late by this point.
A few more figures were zoning in on the area, making the situation far more chaotic than it was ever needed to be.
Though, that was where the issue lay.
"There are others here?" She spoke, ignoring Kairut that fool that had entered a place where he had no place to be.
And why I was saying such words?
"An angel in this day and age... which old one had awakened prior to the ti?" Ca a figure carrying an imposing will.
Though it didn’t appear human, but that of a monkey carrying a small gourd on its back and a small wooden board under its leg that this weird monkey surfed on.
It was a totem, a totem from the nearby Islands who had awakened due to the little rampage of Dragon not too long ago, and from the looks of it, it didn’t seem happy that there were a bunch of other totem-level figures entering the vicinity under his protection.
And yes, there were more than one. One being from Yethel who ca here for , and the other. If I didn’t guess it wrong from the Noble etiquette and the bat wings on its back. Then this one obviously belongs to the Cynark Kingdom.
Though the one sent by Cynark was not just a simple Totem, it was on the sa level of Totem as Wrath, but with one Stark difference.
This one had long devoured its host, being free of all influence and appearing in its true form, capable of executing strength far more than this little Wrath could ever hope to achieve.
It was what I expected of Cynark.
This is the minimal level of response I would have expected from Cynark after the true Identity of Heroth is revealed to the world. The truth was that the Dragon they had been pursuing all this ti was not a dragon, but sothing far worse than a Dragon.
Which should have scared them if they still carried the old records and the disasters noted in them, specifically the disaster caused by the Immortal serpent that devoured gods.
Though the monkey totem was not that well versed in the events that transpired considering it just woke up.
Its eyes were instead focused on as well as my captor, before it asked. "Hey girl, these are private seas, my crib.... Buzz of or face death.’ Spoke the Monkey while taking a swig of the gourd before he took a burp, but he was ignored by the girl, whose eyes were cautiously looking at Totem that appeared out of thin air with a saggy piece of jelly in its arm carrying so confusion. "Being duped?" It spoke before turning to and then to Wrath. "You seem to carry sothing of interest, how about an exchange?" It spoke without a kind smile that can be considered the fakest smile I have ever seen in my whole life.
Disgusting, but what can be expected of these blood leeches?
As for Wrath? She didn’t speak much and chose to leave this area.
Things were getting chaotic. Too chaotic for her own taste.
Never in a million years would she have expected that this mission that appeared simple on the surface ended up attracting a sizable level of individuals. All of whom carried a certain level of interest in their own target.
’This is too important to be played around with.’ she spoke while thinking of the ball that she had sealed in her ring.
Or she might be thinking as such, but her departure was disturbed by a loud burp, followed by a nasty voice that shouted. "ISLAND TAX.... Give money, food..." Shouted the monkey as it followed an angel without an issue. An odd scene considering that she had been using her domain to travel at this mont.
But for so reason, no matter what she does, the monkey never leaves her back.
And if that was not bad. "I want you to stop right this instant." Spoke another voice that ca out of nowhere, while also making it impossible for Wrath to leave as the very space had been locked down at this very mont.
Though calling it a lockdown would be too much, as it was more like his blood webs had speared and sealed all the enters or exist out of this area. His target was obvious.
