The issue was apparent, and its solution was simple. All I needed to do was send a bunch that might just rescue that old man, and there were many who suited the role for this, specifically those who were in an antagonistic relationship with .
Wouldn’t it be fun to extract so value out of those fools? Make them work for unaware of the truth? But all I can do in my current situation is make up so ideas. As for executing them, that was another issue.
The issue was not the lack of individuals who could help , the issue was how to contact them. And this body of mine did indeed give a certain level of boost to my abilities, making it possible for to explore the dream world to so extent.
But finding the individual in that expansive place without a thread connecting us is too far difficult.
I was connectionless, I had no one to fall back to in my current position. And if I were to use my physical body, which is that of a puppet to move, then it would be far slower than when I lived as a fish. Such a conundrum.
’It would be so fun if it were not so tragic.’ This small cave where I hid so precious things might be my end. Though claiming that I would be sending so help Malidi’s way, only I knew that the chances of failure were far higher than anyone could ever anticipate. ’You have truly cornered .’ That god, or the mortal that was wielding the powers of one, Lord Emotion seed to have won in certain aspects.
Which is not a sad thing if I thought hard. Death is not so horrid in my eyes, it’s sothing I have welcod since the start. Even if that death is more in a spiritual sense, turning into a peony for a god, a tool, and nothing more.
That’s the fate of the powerless, the weak, and the stupid. I couldn’t adapt, which brought my end, and no one is to bla for this. ’The only thing to regret is that I won’t be able to see his face when that happens.’ I laughed for a bit.
Although I will lose, it’s not so easy to take things away from . There is a certain price to pay for one’s arrogance. Which will be brought forward with my death.
It was sothing I didn’t even know about completely, for the knowledge of what I did had long been destroyed from my mory.
All I... No... All this clone knows is that sothing bad will happen to the world, sothing that will be hard to stop. ’But I don’t wish to ruin the country of my friend... it’s all so conflicting.’
Guess, when there were safe options left, I can only put it all on chance.
Looking around, there were a bunch of materials saved from the prior ritual, which if used correctly can act as a signal tower to attract certain people that work for . ’But it would also expose my aura.’
An aura that will obviously be detected by certain bastards that desire my end. Well, there was only Lord Emotion who had his mind on and my clones, no one else was even aware of my current state. ’So should I change it?’
Was the question, and well. The answer was obvious. "Why not." Death mattered not, it’s always the journey that enjoyed. And if that journey is coming to an end, why have any uncertainty?
Being apprehensive in this situation is a fool’s errand.
"I wonder who he will send... or what he will send." Certain figures ca to my mind, before finally going to work again.
’I can’t wait to et them again.’

"You mon.."
"Stop it, I have heard enough." Rosso was on his killing spree, leaving none alive and not even bothering to talk anymore.
Due to the unintended help from Dragon, the Pirates on the island turned into chickens on the chopping block, and with each, Rosso kept harvesting their lives, turning stronger and even more learned on the art of Voodoo, though his knowledge was only surface level, as well as his understanding.
The little bit of voodoo energy he had been able to extract from the corpses although appearing sowhat similar to Curse, still remained dormant when Rosso tried to use it. Which did confirm one thing.’It’s really the mix of Curse with sothing else.’ As for what that sothing was, Rosso didn’t have it in the knowledge banks that Jester provided.
But if it did, he would learn that it was nothing more than the magic that Mages used. And unless you possess the spiritual root in your spine, it’s next to impossible for one to use such bizarre energies for oneself.
It didn’t take Rosso too long to clean the island, he killed all those that he ca across, finally reaching the area that seed to be the most heavily guarded. It was also the place with the highest number of Pirates bunched together, as all of them tried to enter a door with flickering lights on it.
’A protection formation?’ This is going to be troubleso or so Rosso thought.
Half the pirates from before suffered under his mosquitos while those that remained were rendered harmless due to Dragon. But what if the ones inside the door never get to experience such suppressions?
Then it would an an enemy in his pri. ’Wonderful.’ Which was not much of a problem for Rosso. He can easily kill those in the sa rank and from his eye of Insight, among the seven inside this door, none of them seem capable enough to face him.
Well, the answer will be obvious once Rosso gets in.
The Voodoo master that established this protective formation was not that strong. So it didn’t take Rosso much of an effort to destroy it and devour the little spirit and curses that attacked his body.
And then, with a kick, he destroyed the tal door as well, exposing an interesting scene inside. "I guess, I thought too little of Dragon." The ones inside the room were in no good state as well, and under their wide eyes, Rosso calmly walked in and started to harvest their lives one by one.
"Stop it, there is no need for this. All the riches here are yours, everything you want, Just let go." I spoke to the old captain, who didn’t have the arrogance he once used to have. No, how could he have such thoughts when in front of him was a demon that had killed virtually everyone on the island?
And although he didn’t know the details due to being stuck in this room. The aura of death on Rosso alone was suffocating.
It’s far worse than the Voodoo master whose feeble body had long-lost consciousness under Dragon’s might. "Your body, it doesn’t have any trace of his," Rosso spoke pointing toward the voodoo master. "And with such strength, are you the legendary demon of the Vercano Isles?" Rosso asked a question that appeared a bit ironic.
Considering that in this Legendary Demon’s eye, the true demon was none other than Rosso himself. "I just loot for money and riches, the sacrifices were all done under his command, I had no hand in that." The captain had lived on the seas for hundreds of years.
He started out as a humble knight from a fallen Knight family that was forced to leave his original ho and turn into a vagabonds on the seas. And for one to survive the treacherous seas for so long, it was no wonder that there was no trace of spine in the Captain’s face. He bowed his head the instant he understood that his life was on the line unless he showed so value.
That’s what his years of experience told him. Which is why he exposed all he could in his situation. "You will give all that you looted after so many years? It’s odd, or are you buying ti to recoup your strength."
"I have no such thoughts, I know my limits and each part of my body is screaming to not touch you... I.. I saw you before when you appeared out of thin air next to that monster. I know I am nothing." The captain spoke, dropping his head, or he tried to show a gesture of his subservience. But it failed to register in Rosso’s head, as his arm turned needle-like, that of a Mosquito’s proboscis and stabbed one of the Voodoo warriors that were sucked alive right in front of the Captain.
Such a scene did bring him great horror. "The village from before, I devoured all that was present there, which might include your family. And such things can’t be easily forgiven, well I won’t." Rosso spoke again, ignoring the begging pleas of another one of the Voodoo warriors, whose strength rivaled that of a Master Ranked Knight.
Of course, halfway through his pleas, his eyes turned bloodthirsty when he heard what Rosso had done to the villagers. But there was little he could do as he ended up dying a pathetic death as well.
"There is no one from my family here... only soone insane would put his family among these savages. So I have no reason to have a blood feud with you." The captain explained, causing one of his last remaining n to turn to him and curse at him for betrayal. But he, too, faced death under Rosso’s stinger. "Wonderful, you really are perfect for the job," Rosso spoke, smiling from eye to eye.
He finally has an able Mule for the journey ahead.
As for the sleeping Voodoo practitioner, well... he won’t die, for now at least. ’The ring of space will co in handy today.’
