Fear is the greatest tool in the world and not just for the evil.
It’s fear that drove humans to evolve past their limits. Their fear of death, hunger, cold, and loss has pushed humanity and, in turn, the world forward.
And it was this kind of fear that Scart always wanted to impart to his enemies, he took from them the things they considered the most precious, and he collected them so that his victims feel fear of what else Scart might take next.
"You all will die here." The death of those he was responsible for hurt Amir. Ignoring the purpose, Amir had vowed to himself that no one in this group of his would die. But the fight hadn’t even begun yet and there was already one of his n dead.
"We just required a passage... that man’s death is on you." Gazelle’s cold voice ca from the void. As for where she was, Amir couldn’t know, Owl’s little trap had disoriented the bunch of them, and so in order to not harm each other, as well as sailors that were barely holding onto the fractured ship by crashing into them, the Knights have stopped their panicked movents for a bit.
Though this was only a temporary asure, as the bomb that had been sealed by them not too long ago might be released once again, what might happen later? Every single one of them was aware that without the protection of the Exorcist, it would an certain doom for most of them.
"... And many more. You destroyed the ship we planned to use. The most we can do is take you hostage while killing the rest." As for how they intended to kill the rest? Scart easily broke through the defenses of MAAS armors and stole one of the knights’ hearts, so one can imagine what else he might be capable of doing.
"You truly think I will let you go... these n had long known that this mission carried certain doom, coming this far is enough for us... " But Amir was not so weak-minded, this mission was just too important.
For the sacrifice of a couple of Knights, he can prevent countless innocent deaths if the man nad Soros Bloodheart is dealt with appropriately. Which is what Amir intended to do.
So when another scream ca, which ant the death of another one of his n, Amir made his move.
Although only a few seconds had gone by, he still had a plan in his mind. "I apologize," Amir spoke, curling his body together causing multiple bloody wings to slowly form around his body.
"What are you doing?" Spoke Gazelle, confused over Amir’s actions, but he didn’t speak much at this point. If nothing is done, everyone will die once this monster awakens. So so dying at this point didn’t matter too much.
"Scart, stop him." Shouted a man, which did surprise Amir for a bit. And it’s not because of this man’s voice, but from the fact that this order was not given by Gazelle. ’I am so sorry.’ Amir apologized in his heart before shouting. "Brace yourself." And with that, the bloody wings around his body exploded all at once, firing bloody feathers all over the scene.
It was a random attack with no distinction between the friend and foe.
The first to die were the sailors, although the ship had been cleaved in two with most of them still on it, the attack of Amir was too strong holding high penetrative power. Even if they were hiding in tal cabins, nothing could stop the feathers that pierced everything in their way. Including the coffin, as well as the MAAS knights on the back, so of whom dropped into the sea by the sudden attack.
But it might be that Amir had expected how much force was needed, the armor plates on MAAS were able to handle the attack.
The sa can’t be spoken about the mbers of Team One in the hiding, specifically Scart who was the closest.
"Y... bas..." Scart clutched his neck as well as body while backing off from the unceasing onslaught of the feathers.
He was only master rank. A Master ranked Exorcist, his body was far weaker than Knights of the sa rank, making the injuries on him that much worse.
If not for certain life-saving techniques he had learned, this might have been his death.
On the other hand, Owl who was one of the floating sailors in the sea, was forced to abandon his act and co out in the open.
As for the injuries he sustained, it did break his little trap, freeing the Knights as well as Amir who made his move right at that instant.
"You truly are an annoying one." Owl looked at the bastard that just made a few holes and now intended to capture him.
And he would have succeeded, if not for sothing from his back dragging him away from Amir’s range. But Amir didn’t give up, he ordered his n to run towards the Armada, while he himself moved towards Owl who was trying to escape while being followed by Hemant his First Knight.
"I have ordered everyone to leave... I don’t wish to see any more blood on my hands." The gravity of what he has done hasn’t hit Amir yet, but there was already so guilt in his heart since the mont he made such a choice. Which is why, he didn’t wish to see any more deaths than was necessary, not after what happened to Hemant before.
"I am my Lord’s shield, if I were to let you protect then it would be the biggest sha of my life. Lord Amir, please don’t deny the purpose of my life." What his Lord Amir had done for him, only he knew. The fact that he can walk again is due to Amir’s sacrifice, and even then that won’t be called the reason why.
For the past decade, the two had been together facing the world together, Hemant had seen his Prince Amir turning from a simple prince to a researcher and the great man he was today.
Amir had made achievents that none of the other Prince and princesses of among the royals could co close to, and with each of those achievents, the pride of Hemant rose.
In his head, he had been blessed to have such a lord to serve.
So no matter what happens, he can’t let his lord be hard in any way.
"You." And Amir can’t deny Hemant’s request. The opponent was dangerous, who knows what else they might be capable of. ’I have to end them in the next 1 minute.’ Seals on the coffin will burn in a minute or so, aning that Amir has to end this battle before the ti is up.
Which he intended to do at this mont. "Blood claws." Amir was far faster than Hemant, the blood wings on his back gave him a boost that his armor couldn’t provide, as he had built these armors to cater to the Knight’s physique, they were far lighter and hence faster than one might have expected.
If not for the strange jelly-like thing dragging Owl across the sea, Amir would have captured him long ago. But at most with these wings, all he can do is maintain a certain distance.
But this was enough.
The aura mixed with blood energy produced odd results for Amir. The aura blade technique had long evolved with the addition of his understanding and utilization as ti went by. At their current state, Amir can cover his entire armor in Aura and create countless blood blades out of thin air using simple movents.
But once limbs were boosted by the claws he summoned, the destructive power reached new levels.
The water exploded as Owl kept moving back while Amir kept attacking.
With so of the striking hitting Owl in multiple places, causing him to lose blood as well as a limb. "You are dead." Spoke Amir readying himself for an attack, but then suddenly out of nowhere, a figure jumped out of the water. It was an injured figure with countless holes in his body.
This was Scart. "LEAVE MY BRO ALONE!!" He shouted, showing anger and hatred that was not common for him.
Usually, he hated Owl, he hated Owl’s guts and how he was way closer to their master than he ever was.
But that hatred was only due to jealousy, at the end of the day, Owl was still a great brother to him. Brother that cared for him.
A brother that won’t abandon him like Jara.
"Stay away you fiend." But his sneak attack was neutralized by Hemant who ca from the back and struck Scart’s body, throwing him toward the ocean. "Capture him!" Ordered Amir while his eyes remained on the pathetic figure close to his death.
"Your ga ends now." This man, this face, Amir knew it. This was their leader, the one holding the key to this whole conflict.
With him in his hand, everything will co to an end. And Amir might just get so answers. "Stop Amir." Though before he could do anything extre, a familiar voice ca between him, a figure that materialized out of thin air.
It was Gazelle, appearing with an apologetic look on her face.
