Ricktor Malidi, the Scholar of the Forbidden World. A na that had nothing to do with Remira at one point in her life, but now, that man was her everything after a certain incident.
This had been the reason why the Radiant Order started to look for him in the first place, but Remira was held off by a certain soone in her Order, who didn’t wish for her to move and create greater chaos as she had done before. "Change your na and your look, you are a criminal in the eyes of Yethel." Was the heartfelt warning by an old friend, which was pushed on her by the current leadership of the Order, headed by none other than Hawking Ziegart, after the old Leader Majodhar Daar stepped down in the face of the ever-changing political tides, that his old beliefs can’t adapt to.
Though it would be a lie to say that this retirent was taken by will, more like it was forced upon him by the new generation of Radiant Knights that have co into power, including the likes of Clifford Vance, who had made a na for himself during his dealings with the Cynark military.
Which would explain why she struggled so much. Why she was forced to stay put while others looked for that odd man in her place? And they did succeed to so extent, finding traces of him all over the continent, but never a live one.
Of course, they learned why it had been so hard to find him all this ti, which eventually led them to Rudrain.
And this ti, Remira, who appeared more mature than before was leading the charge.
And unlike her compatriots, she made so progress, finding a strong clue and even trying her hand at him. But due to certain reasons, she had to back down. Which didn’t an she would stop, there were better options in the world than directly confronting their target.
That is why she has remained so silent until now, while ordering her n to do the sa. This has caused many of the Knights to mix up with the civilians in many parts of Rudrain, where they are forced to never give away their identities no matter what happens.
Including the little odd incidents done by the Cult of Jesters that had been becoming famous recently.
Originally a small rebellious group in the Principality of Wortham, no one knew when, but they grew and spread fast. Although they were weak, they still had their own line of Knights who always suffered from odd ntal disorders, proof that the blood they carried was a tainted one. Making the Cult appear more "Wrong" in the eyes of the leaders.
Those in the know, those who were privy to knowledge about Jester didn’t treat them like the clown they appeared to be, but like a genuine threat as they did their best to curb stomp any uprising led by this group.
And Remira when she originally arrived in the city, she had also thought to take part in these purges, but she held herself back after learning one thing. "They are everywhere..." The country was rotting from the inside and many were wronged and dissatisfied with it, making may fall for the Cult’s Rhetoric and turn to worship a false god.
The worst part, the Jester didn’t mind sharing his strength with others. There were hundreds of knights that carried his blood. Although at most apprentice, it goes to show that Jester didn’t mind giving strength to the weak and poor.
This beca the reason Remira against her own judgnt, chose to ignore the trouble the cult was causing in the city from ti to ti, and focused on her investigation. Which might have been the biggest mistake in her mind.
"The good old, a random young man that tried to find a job at libraries, but was denied entry. Before picking up the job in a butcher’s shop." The Woman sighed, feeling a tad bit sad over how a small civilian’s entire life was destroyed because of the man he chose to employ.
Although mostly a rumor, the woman had heard that the Butcher and his entire family had been executed by the Black Tortoise’s Dranath family. Who took the role of executioner in the matter? But such details were not needed to be said here, as it was to be expected with how this country treated its commoners.
"As for the rest, the Bartender’s Guild still refuses to say what request was made by that boy. They seem scared."
It’s been a month since Rosso disappeared from the world, and a re two weeks since the last patient suffered from the Blood Flower disease succumbed to his illness and died. Bringing the total death count to fifty-seven in total.
As for the impact of this attack, it was too huge for the city to handle. Although the deaths and failures were suppressed by the leaders on the civilian level, the fear among the nobles was noticed by the commoners, who wondered if a new war would start soon enough.
There were even those who treated the failures of Rudrain as a sign of weakness and did their own things in between, causing so minor chaos, but they were only so little runts with no knowledge of the monsters that live in this city, and they were taken care of soon enough.
None of this helped bring back the lost honor for the Rudrain nobles, specifically the Church of Truthful Deceit, which had turned rabid under the humiliation and raided countless houses in order to hunt their target. Safe to say, all of them lead to the failures and misery of countless other commoners.
"Forget about the Bartenders they won’t help us much, they were hit the hardest and lost the most n to this disease." Although the Radiant Order lost only a singular Eye of theirs, the damage to their self-esteem was still huge.
Their own companion had walked among his friends, unaware that he was carrying a bomb in him, and if not for Remira’s tily help, sothing worse would have happened that day. "The enemy is strange, probably a Curse master of high grade, at least Grandmaster rank, otherwise such strength can’t be explained."
Remira recalls the report and knows that their target is a young man, but she doesn’t believe this one bit. Not after seeing what this one man was capable of.
"It’s taking too long, for now, let’s focus back on our target, the things have died down and the security around that pawn shop should die out as well."

Heroth had closed his shop for a month since the Blood Flower incident, a word known to only a few, as the news of this ’random’ attack was only accessible to the nobility or so special individuals like him, who had connections to the Bartender’s guild.
However that was all he understood of the attack, as after telling him this information, Raja had disappeared from the world, probably engrossed while dealing with the aftermath. Which was sign enough for Heroth to know that the shop couldn’t open for a while at least.
’This city is not as safe as I had thought.’ Complained Heroth, looking at his closed shop door before shaking his head in disappointnt. The illusion of the safe city in his head was broken. Even a place with three Legendaries can’t do a thing to prevent a tragedy like this from occurring.
It was a real sha in Heroth’s eyes. "Little girl, you should be happy... There is no work these days, isn’t it?" Heroth teased the girl who was calmly reading a book on archeology on the side, still honing her skills and learning a deeper level of knowledge for the past month, all in an effort to be better at her job.
And such effort was noticed by Heroth, and it would be a lie to say he didn’t appreciate it. ’Sadly, she is a plant.’ If not for her being a spy there to keep an eye on him, Heroth would have considered taking her under his wing and even purchased a powerful bloodline for her if there was a suitable one present.
Sadly, that was not possible. She was a lie, and he won’t fall for it so easily. "Si.. Sir... I cooked for you during these days." She said with so struggle. Although confident in front of the custor, she still appears feeble when talking to her boss. Which might be part of her background trauma and experience.
Making Heroth appreciate her even more. ’Such a perfect act. "I know little girl, I am just teasing you, now go back to studying, the better you are, the more money we can make once the store opens."
And like that, the day ca to an end and nothing much happened.
However, sothing odd did take place about the night once Arahi had gone to sleep. "Hmm..." there was so annoyance in his eyes when Heroth opened them.
"I want to sleep." it was the little things that annoyed him, and the visitor who stood in front of the door was one such annoyance.
