Lavana Centi was born diocre, there was no expectation of him nor did he suffer any prejudice in his family. Instead, due to his lack of talent as Knight, Lavana was trained in business ethics and textbook manipulation tactics that one should use during negotiations.

Being a businessman is sort of like being an intelligence operative. You have to learn more, know more, and see more than your opponent while hiding your true intentions as much as you can, it’s the only way you can gain an edge against your enemies during negotiations.

But among all his teachings, there was one thing his teachers always taught him. "Never bite more than you can chew, it ought to cause you troubles."

"Be aware of your limits. Sustainable developnt is the only path forward, the rest usually lead to doom."

Lavana Centi had followed that rule to his heart. It’s how he had been able to survive to this day and had been able to collect a good deal of information on his enemies.

But at this point, when his desperation reached an extre, knowing that this calm before the storm was the perfect ti to strike. Lavana understood that if he didn’t move now, he might never get the chance to move ever again.

Section 32 was that important in his eyes.

’If they can find sothing more during the raids... like blueprints.’ Centi can imagine a future when this new creation of the Cynark would be in the hands of the rebels. He can imagine a future where they can use this information as leverage to do whatever they want.

’But Yethel’s support with it.’

It’s why, although Lavana had always followed the life motto his teacher had taught him. This ti, Lavana thought a little bit crazy.

’It’s dangerous... I need to find a way. There is no need to rush so soon.’

Lavana’s plan was simple, he would try to borrow the help of Prince Ludwig under the na of his Master Amir. Which is a very foolish thing to do due to the danger involved. But sotis, you have got to take so chances.

’But not so early... the eyes of that prince on the bastard Amir had been getting heavier with tie... he might beco suspicious if I were to suddenly approach him out of nowhere. I need to wait, I can only act after I can confirm their relationship.’

Was it a cooperative relationship?

Due to Amir visiting alone the first ti, Lavana can’t say what was true or what was false, nor can he learn the topic of their discussion if any of the two ca to a resolution.

From the eyes that were sent the way of Amir, it was easy to see that Prince Ludwig was looking for an answer, which Amir kept delaying.

’What is the subject matter?’ Wondered the ever-curious Lavana Centi.

Though the answer to his question would be answered soon, as the month soon ca to pass and Amir’s grandfather had appeared in the vicinity at a point in ti lacking any fanfare.

"This blood, you know how precious it is to our kind?" Ignoring the healing efficacy that this drop of blood boasted, the greater reason why Deimos looked at the drop of blood with such scrutiny was due to the background it held.

"These are the last vestiges of our God’s descendant." Deimos calmly explained to his grandson why and how this blood was precious to their kind.

How their patron God of Wine would appreciate a bottle of Wine made with his dead son’s blood? And how if Amir were to conduct the sacrificial ceremony, he might even earn a blessing.

But Amir shook his head, he held no interest in it. "I just hope you can save Hemant."

That was his only worry and why he even bothered waiting for his grandfather for so long. And when he heard that his Grandfather had already sent soone to cure Hemant the day Amir had called.

Amir took a sigh of relief and bowed his head to his grandfather, thanking him for such a tily response and help. "This is nothing, you showed your value by finding the issue so early. This is the least I could do. As for the reward for this vial of blood, I hope you don’t deny the blessing. Accept it and grow stronger on the battlefield."

"Grandfather, I believe you should be aware of where I am posted... it’s harder for to see action."

"Ho... you would think so wouldn’t you?" Deimos smiled, just smiled, and then said. "The blood wine will be handed to you a week later, just follow the directions written in this booklet, and you can attain the blessing."

This was for when the war started and not before it due to a ti limit on the blessing. "This can save your life during the most dangerous tis, so follow it through with it... I don’t want you to die like so of my brothers." There was a tired sigh in Deimos’s words, which finally made Amir nod his head.

No matter how much Amir hates the Royal family, he can’t hate his grandfather, who truly has the best interest in his mind for him.

"Now that this is over, we should talk about the Prince you t with... are you sure he wishes to overturn the family?’

"Not just him, I believe there must be many among the family holding similar thoughts, he just happened to be one of the capable ones."

"Oh, you consider him soone capable enough?’ Hearing his talented Grandson speak such words, Deimos can’t help but wonder, just who was this discarded Prince with such grand Dreams.

He can’t be soone capable, this Deimos was sure of, otherwise, he wouldn’t have to create a scenario where a person with Amir’s personality was born and nurtured.

But considering the nature of his ’True’ Grandson, this other useless grandson of his might be soone capable, or at least capable enough to enter the eyes of Amir.

And why did he enter the eyes of Amir?

"He seed to know a lot of things about ... personal things that soone in his position should not know." The truth was, there was barely anyone who knew about Amir in this world due to the information control done by Deimos in order to ensure that no danger befalls Amir which would be out of his control.

"Not to ntion, his relationship with the Radiant Knights, I heard they are harder to get along." But sohow Ludwig did get along with the Radiant Knights enough for them to grant him that vial of blood.

"Grandfather, you said that no one in my current generation is born with talent, but I don’t think that is the case."

"The idea for your nurturing was conceived almost three decades ago, there might have been so seeds that I might have overlooked due to the disappointnt of your father’s Generation." Deimos made an excuse, which was the most he could do at this point.

But he won’t deny that while hearing from his Grandson’s mouth, this other grandson or nephew might be soone really special who he overlooked.

And now due to such a mistake, this talented grandson or nephew had fallen for the Jester’s trap, holding the dreams of the throne, while not knowing his limits.

But there was no regret in Deimos’ eyes, he couldn’t turn back ti nor did he consider this descendant of his to be worth any attention at all. Instead, he had so other idea."Amir, I will overlook your frivolous hobbies in the barracks. Do what you plan to do..."

Seeing the sudden change in the topic as well as tone, a hint of Worry worse up in Amir.

Yes, in his grandfather’s eyes, the subject of chanics was a fruitless endeavor where he was mostly wasting his ti. And no matter what he says will change his grandfather’s mind unless he can produce proper results.

And Amir while calling him here, had expected to hear an earful at the end of the discussion, where he might even lose the right to enter Section 32 when his grandfather finds out about his posting.

Was it the achievents he made in the little ti he was here, or the small fan he gifted his grandfather when he visited him? But the tone of his grandfather was kinder than before when talking about his interests.

Which in turn made him worry even more.

’Grandfather won’t give so many concessions for nothing.’ There must be a reason why his Grandfather spoke in such a tone.

A reason he soon understood, as his Deimos spoke the rest of the sentence.

"... But if you wish to keep doing what you love, make this cousin of yours abandon his dream and bring him under you."

There was no need to deal with this young straggler who didn’t seem to make much impact in Deimos eyes.

The only issue was the misdirection the youngster was suffering from, he didn’t know his place and hence was having dreams that he shouldn’t have. So all that was needed was a course correction and everything would be fine.

A correction that can be done with a single sentence of Deimos. But that would be a waste.

"Isn’t he talented and looking for cooperation? This is your chance to obtain a perfect companion."

"Make him submit to you in the year to co, it doesn’t matter if the war breaks out tomorrow, or doesn’t break out at all, you have to make him submit under a year and I will give you full freedom to do whatever your heart desires."
