’My little ga of godhood backfired... huh?’ Faith was sothing I never truly understood. Nor did I know how the totems were born. I only ever had an inkling of it.

Obviously, for beings as old as Lord Emotion, he might have a clear picture of the truth, he had an answer. But he refused to warn on ti. Just watch from the side, as I suffer.

’He is sowhat like .’ If I was a mortal, I would have worshiped him. Sadly, I had no luxury to have such simple thoughts.

"I will grant you your desire." Cutting my connections to all the ears, I only opened one and gave Kairut a direct answer.

It was the only way for to hold a singular dialog with individuals, otherwise, all my souls would repeat the sa words.

Of course, none of it was hidden from the eyes of a being like Lord Emotion, who found my little action, a bit curious.

"You are adapting." He spoke, showing a hint of surprise. "Although temporarily, a fractured soul was connecting again through the power of Faith... all that chaos might have left a simple being, dead... but here you are, capable of holding a dialog with your followers." He found fascinating, just like I did once in the past.

"Faith... yes it should be faith that turned into this," I say, looking at my disfigured body, which looks like a stitched monster with four distinct heads.

The Faceless head, the Rat head, the Clown Head, and a human head with green weed-like hair.

And that last one confused a bit, as I can understand the rest, but the last one didn’t seem to have anything to do with .

Leaving the horned God on his own, I went back inside my body. However, I didn’t dare to move a bit, letting the process continue as it was. "At least, this body isn’t affected due to that transformation."

The earlier bits were dangerous, but as hours went by, I started to feel the chains loosen up. I can think freely, but my sous remained synced, making it impossible for to give any new directives to my n.

"This is a troubleso situation." This was going to be an eventful day, and not everything about it was good.

At least I can be glad that my body itself wasn’t affected by the transformation, it was only my soul that suffered under the totem transformation. ’There might still be a way... I can’t panic, not after coming this far.’

’War... it needs to start a bit earlier than I planned, it’s the only way to keep that woman occupied and give ample ti to wade through this transformation. It’s the only way she won’t notice.’

There was a bunch that hated my guts, and I am not talking about Orvillia, the one who ruled this country. But the bunch of politicians who are helming the managent of this country.

Although Orvillia ruled the country and directly controlled the military might, she was at the end of the day, a human. There were people who needed to manage things that she held no interest in. And this gave rise to Ministers, who were well aware of my existence and didn’t like controlling so many aspects of their mortal lives.

To them, I was a ghost, an undead monster that just hopes to turn this whole country into his puppet. And they are not wrong, but my actions would only bring prosperity to this land and not disaster as they think.

But enough about them, I need to keep those bastards occupied before they notice my lack of orders to them.

"Hmm, this is it... war, starting with sea." Closing my eyes, I found the pieces of my soul scattered through the city, one of which was so huge that even my true soul dwarfed in front of it.

"Co back to ," I ordered, causing my scattered soul to disappear and then appear right next to in the world of dreams.

One by one, my clones who materialized in different kinds of shapes turned to look at . "It’s ti to co together." All of us spoke in unison.

Most of us looked like rats, while so looked like faceless puppets, though the biggest one of us looked like a Clown Doll, which was proof of the amount of I had put in it.

But at the end of the day that was still . A ’’ that picked up countless ’s with his fist and then threw them in his mouth.

A scene that was not so unique in this dreamy hellscape of nothingness. Each of my clones started to devour the one next to them.

Where I was also devoured by the other .

Unaware of the changes that were taking place far from him, Amir approached the tired Sarlen, who seed to have never moved from the front of his house, which went to show his will and dedication to the order his master gave him.

"I am glad to see Prince fine." And Sarlen was not oblivious to the attack on the weapon cache, he even wondered if Prince Amir was sohow involved in the matter, hence the delay. But then he shook his head, not daring to have any other wild thoughts.

"You showed your determination... so now lead ." As a woman once said, Amir was more human than the rest of the royals. He had a soft spot in his heart that others didn’t. It’s why, even while he was tired, Amir chose to keep his word and chose to follow Sarlen to his master, as he had promised before.

As for his sleep, Amir can afford to delay it further considering he was at the rank of a Master Level Knight. His physiology has made it possible for him to work for a whole month straight without the need for sleep. So this was sothing he could handle.

He could ignore the drowsiness he felt and followed Sarlen towards a camp right adjacent to his own, where things seed a bit too.

"Proper."

"Master Ludwig doesn’t like chaos."

"Am I to assu, Prince Ludwig is in control of this camp?"

"Unofficially yes."

Sarlen spoke many praises of the man he served as well as how unlucky he had been since his youth. As compared to other Royals, Ludwig seed to have been a trouble magnet.

There would always be assassins ready to thrust their blade into his body.

Which made Amir wonder, just what sort of fate was this cousin of his born under. He also acknowledged his grandfather’s insight, considering that although he was bullied and suffered constantly in his youth, he was not as unlucky as to always get the fraction of the treatnt Ludwig got while growing up.

Of course, that was if what Sarlen said was true.

Amir was well aware of the lies that were commonly used during diplomatic talks. Sothing he learned during his war against the nobles who harassed him all those years ago.

So he didn’t fall for any of the words that Sarlen spoke, he just entered what seed like a tent and not Ludwig’s room and found him sitting at the table drinking coffee.

’This is a bit casual.’ For a man who has suffered from constant assassination, there was little security here. ’Or it can be said that he had a complete grasp of this camp, making it impossible for the assassins to approach this tent of his.

"Oh brother, I had been waiting for you." The man nad Ludwig smiled brightly, getting up and going for a hug. But Amir used a hand motion to stop him in his tracks. "It’s a pleasure to et you too Prince Ludwig." Amir went with a formal tone, there was no need to act so familiar when this was their very first eting.

Not to ntion, Ludwig had once offended Amir by exposing the fact that he knows of Hemant’s situation.

There was a high chance Ludwig wished to manipulate Amir by using Hemant’s life on the line.

"So Amir chose to make so distance from this cousin of his unless proven otherwise that his intentions are truly pure.

Which would instead make Amir ask even more questions. But this was not the right ti.

And Ludwig, from Amir’s tone also understood that Amir was not soone with a chatty personality. "I apologize if I offended you." So He backed off. It was easy for Ludwig to see what kind of person his cousin was.

And forcing things might just ruin any chance of this coalition he had planned.

So with a bit of small talk and pleasantries, the two sat down in front of so tea and biscuits. "Please help yourself."

But Amir didn’t help himself to the tea, he just glared at this cousin of his for a bit, trying to read into what kind of person he was, before asking. "You spoke of a way to help my Knight?"

There was no need to beat around the bush, Amir wished to confirm if Hemant could be saved or not.

And as if to prove his words, Ludwig nodded in agreent, before taking out a small vial made up of Silver and then placing it in front of Amir. "Is this what you are looking for?" The vial was the side of a finger and mostly empty. Making Amir wonder if there was anything in it to begin with.

But when looking at the small glass corner, he did notice sothing red.

A single drop that appeared to think like. "Blood?"

"A progenitor’s blood... It’s the 32nd blood of Progenitor Darthamir dropped during his execution."

"... I don’t know what any of those words an... nor do I care. Just tell if it can save my Knight."

"A single drop of this can grow an entire body out of a head... so fixing a lacking heart is simple enough."
