An Archmage and the Headmaster of Lucien’s adobe, a prestigious Occultic mage academy, A man capable of calling wind and rain if he wished to, and even the Legendary Duke of Wortham Principality held deep respect for when Kairut was at the peak of his life.

But that peak was too far gone, with age, he went senile and chose to make a contract with , bringing himself to ruin.

Or was it?

"Did you like my gift?" I asked the old professor, who gave my body a deep look and then sighed. "You are him." As if confirming my identity, he gestured to to co inside, without responding to my words before.

But there was soone who did respond to my words.

"You.." She tried to say, but closed her mouth soon the mont she recalled who else was sitting in the room.

I wonder how she got here, was she called here like ? Or she turned curious and foolishly entered the lion’s maw. Can’t say, nor did it matter beside the result itself. She was here and from the bloody murder look in her eyes, she had identified who I was.

"What they say is true about your beauty, and please apologize, if I can’t look away from you." Truly a beauty as I had expected, not the real Blue Lotus, but the flesh she used to carry her will in the material plane.

I wonder if the woman that turned the vessel for her was ever considering whether she would end up like a at suit for a god or not.

"Enough with pleasantries, please Sit." She guided in a kinder tone while I dragged my bloodied feet across the table while giving a look at everyone in this room, including the bodyguard of this great being, along with the two kids who were too scared to even look at .

But as I moved past their bodies, they did find so confidence and see who I was. "Herot?" Rashid ntioned, confused for a bit, before he noticed how half of my brain matter was leaking, scaring him a bit.

Herot seems to be a friend of his, a bodyguard or a soldier employed by him, I can’t say as too much brain had leaked and there is barely any useful information inside it.

"He is harmless, don’t worry." Blue Rose on the other hand, tried to assure the boy, which was funny considering he was more scared of her than .

As if not for her, I believe Rashid would have already attacked in order to take revenge for what happened to his companion. But one should wonder how his servant ended up like this. And of course, it is because he abandoned them in order to achieve his dream of eting the Diva, that is a Daemon.

But his mind didn’t run that deep, the fear and pressure in the room alone covered his mind like smoke, making it harder for him to see through my existence. "How are you alive?" The boy, in much better health than Rashid asked.

Was his na Henry? The one Kanha was looking up.

’Sothing indeed is weird here.’ An oddity, it would seem that Baldar’s intuition was not wrong, there was sothing wrong with this boy or his bloodline.

Otherwise, why would he be immune to the existential pressure that covered the room.

"Now that we are all here. Let’s begin with so introductions, as I believe not everyone knows who the other party is here."

At the ntion of that, with the exception of Kaarath and the bodyguard, everyone had to introduce themselves, an order that none of us on the sofa can deny with the exception of that Henry boy probably. He should be immune to her order. And she probably won’t ask him to expose himself. But the boy did so without any problem.

"Don’..." And Rashid had tried to stop him, but Henry still spoke his na and the job of his father, letting Remira know how grassroots this boy was, how innocent and how foolish he was.

And then, considering no one else was bothering to open their mouth, I made an introduction. "I can’t recall my na, but you can call Jester Or an old title of mine, the Rat King. A Wraith that lives in the world of Dreams..." At my introduction the faces of Rashid and Henry turned weird... no, in Henry’s case, his face was always like that since he looked at my broken body with a leaking skull.

While for Rashid, it was the ntion of the Rat King that awakened his mind, turning his fear into curiosity. As whoever or whatever this being was, he had a hand in the death of his companion.

The rat that was ntioned in the letter and probably the cause of tonight’s disaster and death that was brought to his team.

"I am employed by the Intelligence service of Yethel, my job is dealing with foreigners that might co to harm my peaceful land." At the ntion of such words, I turned my creaking head toward Rashid with a kind smile on my face, Which startled the boy causing him to back off.

But at my introduction, Remira on the other hand just stared down in anger.

Of course she was not surprised by my introduction, it was easy for soone in her position to know what kind of part I might play in Yethel, And if she were to follow on the traces that I had left in the world, this becos even easier to ascertain.

I was part of Yethel, or should I say, I am what made what this Republic is today. My own wonderful playground filled with love.

Then it was Remira’s turn and she spoke as was expected of her, while downplaying so aspects of her strength. Truly a wonderful specin that ruins my gas.

If only I could end her here, but I can’t.

Well, enough about that, now was the ti for soone I had been curious about since the start.

The so-called Son of Ambassador that had been studying among the commoners while being an adept knight at his young age.

The man with so many ntal protections that even I had been hard by so of them when I initially tried to see into his dreams.

Why I wonder would soone of his caliber and age be doing this. Why would he put himself in so much danger and who was he to get his hand on such powerful protections that even certain Archmage level Figure’s can’t obtain?

A sign that sothing bizarre was going on and the background of this boy was also not simple.

So what was it? I wondered, before the boy finally spoke the truth.

"I... " He paused and looked at his friend who was also curious over who his friend was, his true identity, not the one he played in his school.

"I am not Rashid, that is just a cover." He started with playing to so expectations, he took it slow and struggled on how to say this, but finally, after seeing that Henry was not much surprised by his confession, Rashid continued. "I am Maltorin Vybain." And then suddenly stopped.

It was as if this much was enough as an answer, and to so in the room, it was. Which included as well as our host Blue Rose, who didn’t seem that surprised.

"Vybain, I haven’t heard that family na in a long ti." Blue Rose spoke, as her eyes shined like the moon before she turned to the boy and asked. "Well, in my ti, you elfs were already rare as a hair in the sea, so it’s no wonder, the current child of Vybain doesn’t even look elvish anymore."

The Vybains were an old family of mages from the ti of Legends when the system of Knights had just begun. A well known family which was blessed by their elven blood and long life, produced countless powerful mages during his heyday.

A family with a glorious past, but shaful present considering their son was not even a mage, but a Knight with little to no elven ancestry visible on his body.

"Guess my dream of finding a pure blood elf will remain a dream." I sighed on the side, looking at the boy with so disappointnt.

"Now as the introductions are over. Let’s start with the main topic at hand and why I called you here."

"??" Everyone turned to look at the Blue Rose. From everyone I ant only and Remira, while the two boy’s didn’t dare to look at her at all.

"From what I know about all of you, each of you needs sothing from ."

At such a ntion, I perked up my non-existent ears and I was not talking about my spiritual self, but this flesh suit I wore, who really lacked ears. "Your excellency, I really don’t need a think from you." I spoke out, giving Remira a look, who seed to have sothing similar to say as well.
