The previous bout of ours was chaotic. None of us truly knew how to fight, including the least injured Henry.
The most fighting all of us ever faced was probably during training, where barely any of us truly used the full extent of our abilities, nor did we ever use a lethal attack or aim for sensitive spots for our practice buddies. It is mostly a dance between two people, where instead of aiming to hit the people, we hit the sticks they hold.
Of course, that was to be expected. There is a limit to what you can learn from a school And due to how emotional kids of our age usually are, the school makes sure that what they teach us doesn’t end up coming to bite them in the back.
This showed from our battle tactics, or at least the way these two fought while I was mostly just an ugly accessory to this fight. Never actually doing much besides getting beaten left and right.
But it didn’t an we can’t grow. Although the fight only went on for less than five minutes, the growth in each of our skills was imnse.
We adapted, we grew and we learned from each other, as well as each other’s patterns. The synergy between us grew better within those minutes and when I was sure they were smart enough to understand my motives, I set the stage.
This woman, it’s not her strength that is absurd, but her senses. But what sort of senses, I tried to look through using many different tools at my disposal.
Was it the sll that followed? No, it won’t be this fast. So sound?
Rashid’s projectiles were completely silent, but she was able to accurately deflect them. And yes, she deflected, instead of dodging away. Unlike her upper body, her feet always remained stable on the ground most of the ti.
So what was it?
’Bloodlust.’ This was proven by my spit. It was not a poisonous spit, nor so spell, but a simple spit that actually ended up falling on her.
’Danger sense, she only detects danger.’ Any attack that might harm her would be picked up by her, while those that don’t would be ignored or given lower priority.
So what to do in such a situation?
It almost felt as if this enemy was invincible from this talent alone.
But if one were to think about it, the answer to the problem was very simple.
From what I have learned, moving ans weakening her senses. She reacts slower than before, but in return gains strength which is brought by her montum. But her strength was never the issue to begin with.
"*Stumb!!"Went my horn. Which was broken by a single swipe of her staff, causing to bleed profusely from my injury, almost making break the transformation. But this was needed.
’Deflect deflect and dodge.’ I didn’t change my position, I stayed staring at her feet while she dodged Henry’s stab and Rashid’s coins while he closed in on her, dancing between their attacks, while one of her staff swings hit in the stomach again, throwing down.
"YEs..." I felt it, the pain. If my plan goes as I want, I can defeat her, for I am able to predict the moves she will make perfectly.
It was such a thrill, so close to danger, the pain made feel as if I was alive after a long ti, while the danger of death made understand the value of life.
"Shoot at her feet," I shouted while having my collar bone broken by her attack. But as if on cue both Henry and Rashid struck together not at her feet as I said, but instead at the positions I had gestured to them.
Left foot for Henry, which was not much different than my order, and as her senses told her, she slid to the left a bit, dodging his stab. And as if to make mockery of my plan, she danced in a fluid motion, turning her face toward Rashid whose attack was also rendered completely useless.
Her senses won again, or so she thought.
*Cough..
That was the mont, I with my remaining horn struck her not at the waist which should be the most optimal place for attack. But at her private place, which was her butt.
"Aaahhh!" She cried, while running away from my attack.
"You bastard.."
I could see her face twisted in horror and humiliation.
This was a shaful attack, I ruptured part of her body that was most defenseless. And as I never held any intention to kill her and held a desire for a prank, my attack went unnoticed by her inhuman senses.
Making it possible for to hit her.
And then there were my friends, who didn’t lose this opportunity I gave them. They kept attacking the woman while I fell to the ground after striking her with all my strength.
This battle was won, I can see it.
With the injury I gave to her anus, her stability was gone, even the pain and bleeding were not sothing she could deal with on the active battlefield. Which finally gave Henry and Rashid the edge they needed.
"You... I will co for you." With those words and feeling ashad over being struck in such a place, she left leaving a threat for in the future.
"Crow... are you alright?" Henry rushed to , worried over my health, and checked to see if I was alright. Which I was not. Too weak to speak a thing, I could only nod to him and say. "Hide , and go do what you were here to do."
"You will die." Rashid ca and said. Still processing what just happened, because truth be told, it looked like a dream to him due to how absurd it was.
’Did he miss?’ What was the plan to begin with? Rashid was not aware.
He did as Crow asked out of the little trust that ford between them during the battle, a simple chance he gave Crow to prove himself.
And prove he did, by doing sothing no Knight in this world would think of doing due to how much self-respect they held for themselves.
’But this dwarf.’ Was it an accident or not, Rashid can’t tell. What he could tell was that, unlike all their attacks, the crows’ attack sohow worked and finally gave them the edge he needed.
"Why do this for us after what I did to you?" He asked. Even though the events that transpired appeared absurd in his eyes, the fact remained that Crow ca to help them. Which was bizarre.
And although a burden at the start, he was the one that defeated the woman either due to his own luck or sothing more, sothing much more absurd.
"YOu.. you guys were my first friends in this city. Can’t lose you so soon." As the words left Crow’s mouth, Henry started to cry a little.
"Don’t get emotional, and put to the side. I have a healing potion, so nothing would happen to ." My words also beca much smoother as the transformation ca off, reverting back to my original self, a small young dwarf covered in blood and broken flesh.
As for injuries inside, no one can tell from a look.
But that was enough for now.
After an emotional goodbye, they placed to the side so that no one would notice my existence, while leaving a piece of their clothing, considering I was virtually naked after the transformation.

Remira didn’t wish to co here. But the threat was still fresh in her head.
The powerful being who looked at her won’t dare to touch her for one reason alone. She was one of the rare chosen. There can only exist one of a totem or god, and they are always blessed with divine protection.
So if another god or totem-level figure dared to harm her, they would face the wrath of her patron totem or god.
That is what it ant to be chosen.
Of course, there are certain limits that co with being chosen and the patron won’t always protect their chosen from mortal danger, as in their eyes that is mandatory for growth and if a chosen fell to mortal threat, then the god made a mistake.
So a mortal can harm Remira, or even kill her, but if a totem-level figure dared to try it, they might suffer for it.
Sad to say though, this protection didn’t get carried over to her companions.
’Whoever it is, they won’t dare to kill considering my identity. But they should obviously hold so other reason for calling here.
Was it because this being wished to et with Remira?
Definitely not, there was obviously sothing else going on.
As for what it was, Remira thought that the amount of information in her hand was limited to predict the moves of her opponent. However the things she did know were definitely not any less.
’Durum, the only Daemon I ever ca in contact with in that city was the patron of Blue Lotus cult.’
’The revived Daemon of incarnation. She is here.’
The woman that ca from a fate worse than death. She had entered the land of the living while sacrificing the sanity and mind of thousands of people, leaving them catatonic, with so of the families giving up on their loved ones, resulting in their demise.
’An evil being.’
