"She directly went after the boss... phew." Although this was not in the plan, the man who held the body of Farhad took a sigh of relief, knowing that no one was pursuing him.

Even if this might have ssed up the positioning and preparation they have done till now. Anyone in his position would be happy knowing that the danger behind them was no more.

"Bastard! Focus on the target, he is waking up." his companion next to him ntioned, causing the man to take a gun and shoot at Farhad’s head, dropping him down once again. "These rounds won’t work for long, we only have around four of these bullets left."

Normal bullets they were not, having much more information on their target, they ca prepared with so anti-undead shots and originally they had planned to use them to kill Farhad in an instant.

But much to their surprise, even when using such expensive bullets. Farhad’s bizarre regeneration was able to purge all the toxins in his body and push out the bullets. Making him regenerate again and again.

A fact that they had tried to tell their Boss, but they were unable to do so due to sudden retaliation from Remira.

"We should have brought so more." One of the n said, finding that their target was a lot more bizarre than the things they had killed till now.

The age of legends was gone with most of the gods, even the legendary haunted places and curses have been exorcized or devoured by the Radiant Hall.

Making Farhad appear more like a cryptid than a human.

While they were moving with the pace of a cat through the forest, they heard the sounds of shots, knowing that the other three companions had reached the position of their boss before the intensity of explosions increased even more.

"Boss is going all out, it seems like the Knight is much stronger than we had anticipated."

"Don’t talk and focus on escaping, after reaching the position, we have to be wary of their attack."

The here ant the other rcenaries that were hired for this job. People, that might break the contract out of greed and might try their hands at pitting all of them to doom.

The contract was based on trust and honor, it didn’t stop them from making their move through magic or curses like in the magical contracts. So there was a high chance that soone might intrude and take the Prize out of their hands.

Which is why he was also surrounded by two of his companions, they were here to protect him from any surprises along the way.

But a surprise did happen. The mont Farhad woke up again and his captor tried to shoot at him, he barely dodged it, leveling a long gash that ripped all the flesh from his lips to ears. Followed by another shot, which finally took out Farhad. "This bastard, he was able to respond to the shot."

"Forget about what the employer said, cut his arms and legs, I will hold onto them." Their employer might know the nature of Farhad, but he didn’t know how to extract the flas that were buried deep inside Farhad, so they wanted his whole body just in case.

But considering the circumstances and what he just witnessed, if the next ti Farhad is able to completely dodge the attacks, he might beco a problem in such a close range. And might use his advantage to escape.

Which would be foolish at this point. "Are you stupid, high chance that others are probably looking for an opportunity, stopping here would make us nothing more than sniper fodder?"

"There is enough cover in this forest for us to hide from a shot, but this man is next to us. Didn’t you see how he dodged the last bullet? Now we only have two left." Looking at the gash on Farhad’s cheeks that was healing under his naked eyes, he understood that it would be best for them to deal with the imdiate danger rather than fear the potential one, which might or might not harm them.

Though, before his companion could agree to this suggestion, Farhad woke up again, but he didn’t move much unlike last ti.

He had heard everything, he was hearing all the things they were speaking along with the ntion of other parties. This ans that even if he escapes here, the other parties might just try to capture him.

But so what?

He was an undead, a hard-to-kill undead.

’... This feeling again... I want to kill them.’ Farhad thought to himself, but he didn’t act on his thoughts, using the cover of the bullet hole that was still not healed, he acted dead and waited for an opportunity.

For he was not a fool, he knew that besides these two, there was a sniper following them not far from them, and if he made any bizarre moves, that sniper would shoot him first.

So he looked forward to having his hand cut under the cover because there was a high chance that Snipe wouldn’t be able to shoot him.

But to do that, he had to make sure his injuries didn’t heal too fast, or these n would shoot him just to make sure that Farhad wouldn’t wake up once again.

A healing that is getting stronger with ti. ’Slow down... slow...’ He said to himself, trying to hypnotize himself in slowing down the healing process, while he waited himself to be taken to the cover.

And as he had expected, these n did just that. Bringing him under the shade from the sniper and so others who might be keeping an eye on him.

"This place is fine." The man said, taking out his pistol and aiming at Farhad’s head, just in case Farhad woke up again. But before he can actually shoot, Farhad punches his holder, causing him to loosen his grip, freeing Farhad, whose body experienced two more hits, each missing his head.

"Thaks for servig yourself to e." His face was covered in a bullet hole and exploded jaw, barely made an audible sound. But the two understood what Farhad ant clearly. With a big fuck in their head, they had moved on to attacking Farhad almost instantly.

"Normal bullets shoot at his joints!!" The two went on the offensive, one focusing on Farhad’s joints to incapacitate him, while the other took out a machete and focused on hacking Farhad’s into pieces.

They don’t mind if so pieces of Farhad’s flesh get lost during this battle, to them, surviving and taking down the target was more important, and the rest ca later.

So the mont Farhad had freed himself, the two had already made up their minds on turning Farhad into minced at if needed.

As for the fact that Farhad might win?

There was no chance in their eyes. He was just a student of Occult departnt before his transformation and he was not fighting like his sister or father.

A weak boy blessed with great powers, which he didn’t mind wasting by keeping them to himself.

To most, the flas he carried were the most desirable object in his body, it was those flas that Made Varkus who he was in the military. A dreaded leader and employed assassin by the Cynark kingdom.

So leaving such flas on his kid, who was not even a human anymore felt like blasphemy to many.

They can’t let this go, those flas belonged only to the worthy. He was nothing more than a temporary carrier.

It was with such thoughts that multiple people had employed rcenaries and so assassins to hunt down Farhad and bring him to them.

These three groups were still considered early birds in this process and from the looks of it, Kareems’ team should win.

Or so Kareem’s n had thought.

Dodging the machete using the broken knees to spin around from the attack, and then thrusting himself to the shooter. Farhad’s movents were calculated and perfect.

"Weak... so weak." But the reality was sothing else, his mind had started to turn blurry the mont the fight began.

The pain in the blasted knees disappeared in no ti, his healing was showing wonders while he moved toward the first target.

It was ti for so entertainnt.

Ashaan couldn’t see the movents clearly. But he knew well that unlike before, there were a total of two groups that had started to fight at this mont. "Did that bastard Owl break the pledge?" He wondered, looking toward the single bullet action, followed by sniper shots to the west of his direction.

"No, considering the people there, Owl would have taken them down easily... the fight won’t go for more than five seconds."

"So it’s either a fourth party that had been hidden from our eyes till now, or the target had escaped their grasp."

If it was the latter, then Ashaan can only be happy. "Move out, we have to help our fellows from certain death."

In truth, it doesn’t matter what was the truth, with that simple failure on the other team, he can use it as an excuse that Kareem had failed and now he can intervene.

And considering it was his turn next, Owl probably wouldn’t move at the mont, even if he wanted to. But even then, he planned to confront him just in case.

"Thanks, Kareem, thanks for your n being so incompetent." Taking out a small spear, he moved like a wind toward Farhad’s direction. Adding more to the chaos.

"Are you enjoying this master?"

"No, of course, he is enjoying it. For the church is everywhere, his eyes are everywhere. Our great God of Jesters."
