Chapter 705: 279 strong collaboration, master-level arrangent (Chapter 2)
She phoned Yang Lin at the stairwell entrance.
“Sister Lian,” ca Yang Lin’s calm and chanical voice over the phone.
“Grandpa asked to bring you sothing. I’m at the Experintal Building now,” Bai Lian said.
Yang Lin’s voice was as unvarying as ever, devoid of emotional fluctuation, and she succinctly replied, “The last laboratory on the third floor.”
Bai Lian hung up the phone and waited at the stairwell entrance for another two minutes before heading to the laboratory.
The laboratory door was shut tight. When she arrived, Yang Lin was holding a record report in one hand and a black pen in the other, still wearing black-frad glasses, her skin snow-white.
Her bangs and glasses concealed her clear and cool eyes.
“I’m writing the experintal schedule,” Yang Lin said as she placed the pen and report on the table and adjusted her black-frad glasses.
“Hmm,” Bai Lian’s down jacket was already unzipped, she held a cape in one hand and placed her clothes on a chair beside her, speaking at an unhurried pace, “The down jacket Grandpa made for you.”
After spending a few months with Bai Lian, Ji Heng, and the others, Yang Lin had co to understand them a bit.
She didn’t refuse and pondered for a mont, “I will visit Grandpa this weekend.”
“If you’re busy, don’t make a special trip to see him,” Bai Lian said as she left. She still had to go to the Plasma Laboratory and simply waved her hand lazily behind her, knowing that a professor was supervising Yang Lin and she was busy every day, “No rush.”
After Bai Lian left.
In the laboratory, Yang Lin reached out to open the bag.
It was a black satin down coat with four white toggle buttons specially crafted on the outside of the zipper. The hem and cuffs were embroidered with nurous small blossoms of multicolored lilies and vines.
On both sides were two large square pockets, the pockets made of velvet, each with a large lily ticulously embroidered on, blooming with elegance.
Yang Lin held the down coat, her hands tightening slightly.

Jiang University’s School of Physics, Experintal Center.
Plasma Laboratory.
Even for freshn, especially those from the Tongfeng class, there wasn’t much they could help with in the laboratory. They were just getting acquainted with various equipnt and experiencing the academic environnt in advance.
Bai Lian’s group was the sa, being ntored by Sun Fu’s team.
The atmosphere among Sun Fu’s graduate students was average. When Bai Lian arrived, Tang Ming and Ding Wenyang each carried a jug of mineral water inside.
Tang Ming, who had trained with Ming Dongheng and Bai Lian, found carrying a jug of mineral water no challenge, but Ding Wenyang, an academic prodigy since childhood who had never done heavy labor at ho, was panting for breath.
Bai Lian took off her cape and white down jacket, draped them over her wrist, wearing only a sweatshirt of the sa color underneath. As she passed by the two, she glanced at Ding Wenyang and lifted the jug of mineral water from his shoulder.
Carrying the water casually, she walked deeper into the corridor.
Ding Wenyang, completely bewildered, gave Tang Ming a stiff look, “…Tang bro, what’s going on?”
As Tang Ming effortlessly climbed the stairs with the water jug, he coolly told Ding Wenyang, “Ding bro, you’ll get used to it.”
Bai Lian put the water on the drinking fountain outside and then entered the laboratory directly.
Professor Sun’s laboratory was large, consisting of three connected rooms. By the experintal table, only Liang Wuyu was recording data.
This was the assignnt that Professor Sun’s laboratory had given to the group of new students, and it was also the recent research direction of Professor Sun’s team: to purify uranium from seawater using plasma technology.
Upon seeing Bai Lian, he looked up to greet her.
“Where are the other two?” Bai Lian asked about Xu Zhiyue and Ning Xiao.
“Zhiyue is helping Sister with printing docunts,” Liang Wuyu spoke up, “Ning Xiao went to get experintal equipnt for Brother He.”
The equipnt they needed was in the Physics Building, and it took so ti to walk back and forth.
As they spoke, a male student dressed in a lab coat with a stack of printouts ca over, “Bai Lian, Liang Wuyu, good to see you’re both here. This is the group assignnt for this ti, rember to hand it in on ti to and Sister.”
Liang Wuyu reached out to take the group assignnt from Hen Shuyan’s hands.
After handing it over, Hen Shuyan smiled and said, “This is a creative opportunity for you guys, thanks for your hard work.”
Bai Lian went to get a lab coat, putting it on languidly as she smiled nonchalantly at Hen Shuyan, “So should we thank Brother He?”
She appeared beautiful and nonthreatening.
Hen Shuyan seed to detect a hint of sarcasm in her words and looked back at Bai Lian, who still had a lazy deanor. He turned away, deciding he must have misunderstood.

That evening, Bai Lian and her group rushed to complete their group assignnt, leaving the laboratory only at eleven o’clock.
“So tired,” Ding Wenyang massaged his own arms, asking Tang Ming beside him, “When did Brother He and the others leave?”
“Around six-sothing,” Tang Ming roughly rembered the ti.
