He abruptly stood up and walked out.
While leaving, he ordered, “Prepare the car, we’re going to the Ji Family.”
Ji Mulan was downstairs reading a financial magazine when she heard the noise. Standing up in surprise, she asked, “Going where?”
“To see your dad,” Xu En looked at Ji Mulan. “I need to talk to Alian in person.”

“It’s so late now,” Ji Mulan closed the financial magazine, very slowly suggesting, “Why don’t you call my dad about whatever it is, and we can arrange to et him tomorrow and talk then?”
What she said made sense.
Xu En cald down, realizing it was his first visit and he hadn’t prepared any gifts yet; a sudden visit wouldn’t be very polite.
He turned back and instructed his assistant to prepare gifts.
Then he took out his phone and called Bai Lian.
The second the call connected, Xu En seed to co back to life.

Bai Lian hadn’t blocked him.
Xu En fairly understood that she had blocked Ji Mulan.
