Inside the Star Temple.

Laura was deep in a prolonged slumber.

A loud explosion sounded, prompting her to open her eyes in annoyance.

A cold-faced woman stood beside her, looking at Laura, who was preparing to hide deep within the palace, and said:

"Haven't you slept long enough? If you've slept enough, get up."

Laura sighed, knowing today's dream couldn't continue.

"Grandmother, it's been years since we last t, I've missed you."

The Goddess of Death and Magic snorted coldly, saying, "I can't tell if you've missed . Aren't you trying to continue hiding?"

"This Star Temple isn't big, where could I possibly hide?"

"aning if the Star Temple were big enough, you'd continue to hide?"

Laura instantly fell silent.

The Goddess of Death and Magic chuckled in anger.

Unlike other descendants, Laura seed to have a tendency toward being a lone wolf.

Under normal circumstances, the offspring of the King of Redemption included many talented individuals.

But taking the top spot was definitely Red Moon.

Due to various reasons, the Goddess of Death and Magic accidentally had a child with a certain lousy mber of the Seven Heroes.

To say she didn't like her own child would be pure lies.

But among the first generation of offspring, she couldn't find anyone to compete with Red Moon.

No worries, if the first generation doesn't have one, let's see the second generation.

Unexpectedly, although the number of second-generation offspring increased, the overall quality was even worse.

If not for Laura's stunning ergence, the Goddess of Death and Magic wouldn't have seen that glimr of hope.

But no one expected that, despite great expectations, Laura went to her grandfather Louis after ascending to Angel King to accept a secret mission shortly afterward.

For many years since, the girl had been sleeping in the Star Temple, not erging.

"Now that the Terrarium is established, you inherently have close ties with the Seven Heroes. Quickly go congratulate them."

Laura wiped sweat that didn't exist on her forehead, lowered her voice, and said, "Grandmother, isn't that too opportunistic?"

"Opportunistic? What do you an opportunistic? What does this have to do with influence? You think I'm telling you to go build good relations with them?"

Bringing up this subject made the Goddess of Death and Magic even more agitated.

"I'm sending you because the Seven Heroes have more resources over there; find a way to get them to find you a suitable partner.

Whether you get married or have kids or not is irrelevant, but you've been staying like a hermit in the Star Temple for so many years. Isn't it worriso that you might make yourself sick?"

Laura: "???"

Do I appear that worriso?

They even went straight for a relentless life-ending talisman attack.

"Alright, I'll go then."

What else could Laura say?

She felt that if she didn't escape soon, her grandmother would keep nagging forever.

Besides, she did want to find her friends.

Regarding the "matchmaking event" her grandmother ntioned.

Don't ask!

Ask, and once I went, indeed, got people to help find one, but couldn't find a suitable match.

...

But when Laura arrived at the Terrarium, she saw Chloe's face full of gloom.

"Our Great Creator God, Cosmic Core, why the gloomy face now?"

"The two senior fellows have no intention of returning from the river of ti."

Laura paused, her gaze flickered for a mont, and finally said, "That seems typical of them; not everyone wants resurrection."

The two seniors that Chloe ntioned were, of course, Speed Dragon Morton and Dancer Noding.

With Chloe's current strength, he could naturally fish them out from the river of ti.

But both were unwilling, hoping to wash away their mories and pour into the Terrarium with a new identity.

This was one of Chloe's major regrets.

Nevertheless, he was very pleased to et Morton again.

"What about you? Won't you see them?"

"See what?" Laura grouched, "Didn't we see them once before?"

Previously, Chloe had brought a girl with a special talent, and with her help, Laura had seen them one last ti.

So, it's fair to say her wish was fulfilled.

Chloe looked at his senior with great interest: "Senior, you haven't been scattered by past mories; you still have such strong emotions."

"Why would you think so?" Laura rolled her eyes, "We live longer, not becoming emotionless creatures."

The demigods are different from those below them.

In fact, as Laura knew, many demigods lived shorter lives than spirits.

But including deities among demigods, they were labeled this way because they wouldn't be easily worn down by the years.

The river of ti's wash is both growth and curse for mortals.

Under prolonged washing, all those loves, hates, joys, and excitents sink into the sea, no longer possible to retrieve.

Thus, you beco more silent, with emotional fluctuations becoming lower.

Until one day, you suddenly realize that everything you once cared about has completely collapsed as you've stopped caring.

This is the dismantling of consciousness based on life.

When the deconstruction is too much, the soul that no longer fluctuates no longer seems alive.

Chloe, hearing Laura say this, couldn't help but think of Titans.

The tranquility of the Titan Race might also be like this.

Strictly speaking, each Titan at its peak possesses demigod-level power.

But perhaps the initial setup of The Stars had issues, or maintaining such a powerful and nurous race inherently couldn't forge immortal souls; in summary, Titans would ultimately experience soul deconstruction after enduring long years.

The final result would be to freeze the soul, subrging it within the Titan Ancestral Land, never to awaken again.

And the age when Titans were most active is truly far too distant.

At that ti, the factions of demigods hadn't yet co into being.

Though possessing demigod power, they didn't have demigod resilience against wear.

The inevitable result was sinking into the sea.

He turned to look at Laura, only to see her gaze flickering, not knowing what she was contemplating.

Only to hear her say, "I tell you this to say that whether it's past loves, dislikes, or those good and bad things deep in my mory, none of them have disappeared."

Chloe paused for a mont: "I never denied this, that's why I've always called you senior."

Laura paused for a mont and finally smiled in relief.

She sohow pulled out a lady's cigarette, lit it, and held it in her mouth: "I was overthinking; after all, soone might feel with too many past mories, I'm not myself anymore.

But in my view, I am always that person, the Angel King Laura, and the graduate of the Ethereal Emblem Laura."

Chloe smiled and shook his head.

To the Seven Heroes, as long as the core subject of the information remains unchanged, the person is still the sa person.

Missing so mories, does it an they're no longer that person?

It was just seeing Laura with a cigarette, he suddenly reached out and took it away;

"But senior, ever since the first ti I saw you, you've been smoking; it's not a good habit."

Laura paused for a mont, remained silent for a while, then reached out to extinguish the cigarette butt and looked at Chloe quietly, saying:

"I had a plan before, did you know?"

"Hmm?"

"The plan was to keep smoking until soone extinguished my cigarette, then I would quit."

Damn.

Suddenly feeling a bit like falling in love.

But why is my heart moved by that person?

"Grandmother, oh grandmother, I hope you won't have headaches in the future."
