The appearance of the Ice Cave, and the unknown creatures underneath it, pushed this competition to its climax.
Unfortunately, this was not what the audience, competition organizers, and lead teachers wished to see.
The main team from The No.1 Military Academy was in dire straits this ti, and whether they could survive was unknown.
The arena was opened, and a spatial vortex activated. Ren Yunying led her team and jumped in.
No matter what, they must bring Chloe and the others back this ti!
[Damn, I'm so nervous.]
[I rember that Ice Cave seed to be dug out by Brut Military Academy?]
[Yes, I previously saw Brut Military Academy's perspective. They pierced through the ice at that point, causing the entire ice field to crack. They did it on purpose to block The No.1 Military Academy's path.]
[Damn, how vicious? How dare they???]
At this mont, in the arena.
Katherine trembled as she looked at the terminal, then choked out:
"The instructor has brought people over. We just need to wait quietly and... where are you going?!"
Katherine hadn't finished speaking when Anderson turned and walked away.
He ignored Katherine's shouts, his black wings spread open, heading in the direction Brut Military Academy had left from.
[Where is he going? His sister is still under the Ice Cave.]
[Don't worry, it seems he's going to find Brut Military Academy's people.]
[By himself? Won't he lose...?]
Before this, Anderson had always been under the influence of the auras obtained by other mbers of The No.1 Military Academy's main team, and would not take the initiative to attack.
Furthermore, in the chaos, everyone was actually not very clear about Anderson's strength, because at most he would only assist when Chloe took action.
The only ti he slaughtered wolves was rely a display of Anderson's brutality, as a military academy student could handle a pack of wolves on their own.
Thus, the audience could not help but wonder:
- Is he really going over there? Isn't he afraid of failure?
After all, Brut Military Academy's strength was not weak either.
Anderson was completely unaware of the outsiders' thoughts.
He only knew that there was a fire burning in his heart, about to completely consu his remaining rationality.
Anderson's erald eyes had deep red bloodshot veins spreading from their depths, impossible to ignore.
Not far away, Brut Military Academy's students slowly stopped in their tracks, feeling like sothing was pursuing them from behind.
A ferocious beast?
Kan frowned and turned around: "What the hell, what kind of beast would co from behind us?"
Just as he narrowed his eyes to take a serious look, a large blade suddenly appeared in his vision.
Kan's eyes widened in bewildernt, seeing the blade about to strike his head, but he seed possessed, unable to move his feet at all.
Fortunately, his nearby teammates pulled him hard, and the blade narrowly grazed his face.
Kan panted heavily, cold sweat sliding down his temples, and he roared:
"Who's there!"
Anderson, shrouded in a frosty aura, erged from the swirling mist, his eyes as cold as ice.
Upon seeing who it was, Kan's pupils constricted.
It was soone from The No.1 Military Academy - how was that possible?
They were already in dire straits, how did they have ti to co after them!
Kan was about to retreat, but after a careful look, he realized the approaching person was alone.
He paused, then his confidence surged, and he stood firm, raising his eyebrows as he said:
"What, just you alone? Have you co to die?"
He couldn't beat Chloe, so this unremarkable guy couldn't beat him either, right?
Kan waved his hand forward, and his teammates imdiately took up their weapons, standing at the ready.
From start to finish, Anderson didn't say a word, but those eyes made Kan wonder if he only saw them as dead n.
This thoroughly infuriated Kan:
"Damn it, enough with the act! Co on!"
As the words left his mouth, the teammates behind him charged forward first, raising their weapons high.
But before they could get close, they were bound by an overwhelming pressure, completely immobilized, as if held by invisible threads.
"What... happened?"
"Let us down!"
Anderson raised his hand, and the large blade he had thrown ca back to his palm of its own accord.
Seeing this, Kan finally realized sothing was amiss.
But it was too late.
That blade, at an extrely awkward angle, sliced off the arms of those teammates!
In the next mont, warm blood dripped onto the ice, quickly vaporizing into white mist.
"Ahhh!"
Agonizing screams echoed across the ice field. Kan turned pale: "You dare injure people in this competition?"
Anderson tilted his head slightly, as if he had heard sothing extrely ridiculous, and sneered:
"You dared to kill, so what's wrong with injuring people?"
As he spoke, he slowly approached Kan.
Kan's legs went weak with panic as he watched his teammates fall onto the ice, their faces twisted in agony, gaping wounds spewing white vapor and blood, glaring at him in despair.
"..."
He retreated step by step, without even the strength to raise his blade.
Kan... had never seen dismbered, bleeding people in the flesh before.
It made his limbs go limp.
Anderson severed Kan's wrist, then removed his jaw.
His mouthful of saliva spilled out, flowing down his lips and chin onto the ice as he struggled uselessly, an ugly sight.
The disgust in Anderson's eyes was undisguised.
Finally, he raised his blade and chopped off Kan's arm heavily!
Anderson deliberately used the relatively blunt back of the blade, repeatedly striking down, allowing Kan to clearly feel his bones breaking and flesh tearing.
The excruciating pain made Kan struggle futilely, but Anderson pinned him down, immobilized.
More and more blood flowed out.
At so point, the other teammates who had their arms cut off closed their mouths, not daring to say anything more.
For a while, the only sound on the ice field was the horrific noise of the blade hacking into flesh.
[...Want to vomit.]
[So disgusting, Anderson is brutal.]
[Brut Military Academy's people deserved it. Creating the Ice Cave not only affects those who co after, but also has a huge impact on the entire ice field. If an avalanche occurs, everyone in the arena will be unable to escape.]
[Speaking of which, did Anderson use Perception Transformation earlier? He advanced to Perception too?]
[Unknown when, but it couldn't have been long after Chloe.]
By the ti Ren Yunying rushed over, guided by Katherine, what she saw was Kan, already unrecognizable.
She was horrified and hurried to pull Anderson away.
Kan's arms and legs had been chopped into a ss, with only the last bit of flesh and bone still attached, barely distinguishable from a pig carcass.
And Anderson was covered in fresh blood.
Ren Yunying gasped in horror.
This ti, Anderson didn't even bother pretending.
He stood up from the ice field, gripping the blood-soaked blade in his hand, and gave Ren Yunying a dispassionate look before spreading his wings to fly back the way he ca.
Ren Yunying hastily called for people to remove Brut Military Academy's injured from the arena and gave chase.
As soon as she reached the edge of the Ice Cave, she saw Anderson plunge straight down without hesitation!
