Early one morning, Chloe had just crawled out of bed when she was inford that she would be going to the Barren Planet for training with her companions.
Chloe was dragged there in a daze by Anderson to gather at the training grounds.
Ren Yunying stood at the front, whip hanging at her waist, her expression as stern and cold as ever.
Seeing Chloe's appearance, she said displeasingly, "Chloe, wake up."
Upon hearing her voice, Chloe felt a little afraid.
She hurriedly opened her eyes and looked at Ren Yunying attentively.
On the training grounds were not only them, but also Qin Huaibei, Daniel, and Katherine.

Chloe instinctively covered her nose.
The sll was like spoiled, fernted cheap beer that had been left for too long, making it pungent and suffocating.
It was also mixed with so indescribable sour, rancid odors, like animal excrent.
Not only Chloe couldn't stand it, but even Ren Yunying had trouble adapting.
Behind them, Daniel almost vomited, but luckily that feeling was punched back into his stomach by Qin Huaibei.
Chloe raised her eyes to look around and unconsciously went forward to hold Ren Yunying's hand.
There weren't too many people around, but it was far from empty.
Most of them were wearing tattered, dirty clothes that looked like they hadn't been changed for ages. The n all had unkempt beards, so tall and so short, but the gazes they cast on the newcors were filled with greed.
A few n couldn't hold back any longer and gathered in groups, blocking Ren Yunying's path with ill intentions, their eyes glazed over:
"Little missy, why are you alone here? We..."
Before they could say or do anything else, Ren Yunying whipped out the long whip from her waist and lashed them rcilessly.
The whip cracked through the air with such force that the barbs tore into their flesh, causing blood to gush out incessantly.
She struck a total of twenty lashes until their breaths beca faint, then Ren Yunying finally put away her whip.
Her eyes flashed with ferocity, her voice cold and filled with savagery, "Get lost, quick!"
Those n crawled away trembling, not daring to block the path any longer.
The people who had been watching from the sidelines also averted their gazes and moved further away.
This was a lawless gray area, where rules held no sway, and only through violence and weapons could one command respect.
To prove that one was not a pushover, one had to unhesitatingly draw blood from another person, until they bled.
