As the table was ticulously set for the young master, Xu Feng couldn’t help but feel a pang of humility wash over him. The spread was the biggest ever in his little dining area, but it was still humble for a young master.

Each dish was fragrant and lovingly cooked, but in that mont, it sohow felt lacking to Xu Feng.

The contrast between their modest al and the grandeur of the Xuan household was noticeable. It was a reminder of the differences in their lifestyles.

Even so the two n looked at the spread with hints of greed in their eyes, unable to resist the enticing aroma and the promise of a delicious al.

"Enjoy this humble al," Xu Feng encouraged the two n with a dimpled smile.

The day had already been long, and it was now past noon. They were bracing themselves for another round of Xuan family drama. Xu Feng pitied them, he wasn’t one to enjoy drama up close, it was only fun from afar...on tv.

As they began to eat, the two n, who had been restrained and gentlemanly during their last al together a month ago, now dove into the food with bold enthusiasm.

Xu Feng, the self-proclaid foodie, watched them, savoring his own cooking while enjoying them savoring their al.

There’s a saying that when one cooks, the taste isn’t as sweet as savoring another’s cooking, and today, Xu Feng found this to be too true.

The flavors of his dishes surpassed anything he had ever tasted at Nanshan estate. Yet, he found even more joy in watching Xuan Jian and Xuan Yang enjoying their food. It brought a sense of cheerfulness to him, an unexpected pleasure.

With Erlang joining them, the two servants who had accompanied Xuan Yang gathered with Si and San to enjoy their al separately in the unused smaller reception room. This left only Xuan Yang, Xuan Jian, and Xu Feng at the dining table in the warm, cozy room of the main house.

The two n looked around, sowhat amazed, as they took in the room’s decor after satisfying their imdiate pangs of hunger.

The al was hearty and comforting. Xu Feng had used simple cooking techniques and just the right spices, infusing the dishes with a fragrant, slightly spicy flavor, thanks to his treasured peppers!

It wasn’t enough to cause any strong reactions, just a subtle touch to enhance the taste of the food.

Of the two, Xuan Jian showed more curiosity. As he neared fullness, he began examining the decorations around the room.

The credit for the beautiful space couldn’t be solely given to Xu Feng. While he had decorated the room, it was Si and San who maintained it in immaculate order. The place was incredibly clean and spotless.

Xu Feng appreciated cleanliness, but the level of ticulous cleaning shown by the girls was a skill he hadn’t quite mastered yet. It left not just the dining room, but the entire main building clean, modern with ancient architecture, and warm.

After savoring a piece of crispy kimchi pancake, Xu Feng couldn’t help but sport an impish grin.

"You helped clean up last night, but you didn’t take any ti to look around the courtyard. Too busy humping?" he teased, his words causing Xuan Jian to flush a deep shade of red.

"Hahaha," Xu Feng laughed heartily, letting his guard down now that they were in a more relaxed setting.

He knew it was Xuan Jian who had cleaned him up! The young master didn’t seem like the type, the fact that he held Xu Feng’s hand this morning for so long was still a bit shocking.

Xu Feng felt at ease being a bit more crude in their private conversation, free from any concerns about young, impressionable ears overhearing their banter. Xuan Yang, who had been rather calm, seed to relax even more, and the tension in the room began to dissipate.

"Yes, your bride is quite witty," Xu Feng continued playfully. "Well, I guess I’m currently your bride and your future bride."

Xu Feng sent eye knives at both n.

He cheekily brought up the discussion from that morning when the elders of the Xuan family had discussed his marital future without his input. Currently, he was Xuan Yang’s bride, but the "plan" was to marry him to Xuan Jian within the next three years, depending on how quickly he could birth a child for the young master.

Xuan Jian and Xuan Yang exchanged uncertain glances, not quite sure how to react to Xu Feng’s playful provocation.

Without missing a beat, Xuan Jian decided to flirt back, as if a switch had been flipped by the playful ger’s remarks.

"That ans you’re both our bride," Xuan Jian remarked with a small smile, his gray eyes locking onto Xu Feng’s. "But I haven’t gotten my kiss, I only watched. I don’t feel like a groom yet."

Xu Feng paused, taken aback by the unexpectedly blunt comnt from the usually reserved Xuan Jian.

This wasn’t the first ti he had glimpsed Xuan Jian’s hidden personality. The previous night, the man had been abnormally open and full of laughter, when Xu Feng shared his thoughts with his "groom."

It had beco clear to Xu Feng that Xuan Jian’s icy exterior hid a true Casanova, a playful heart now kept to a committed relationship at a young age. Flirting with Xu Feng seed to be an outlet for that playful side.

Following this train of thought and noting Xuan Yang’s indifferent reaction, Xu Feng decided to play along.

"I feel like we’re both his bride," he responded with a mischievous look. "The young master has a bride in na and a partner to warm his heart...and bed."

Xuan Jian burst into laughter, and Xuan Yang couldn’t help but grin. Xu Feng’s wit was entertaining. "You are a cheeky little thing," Xuan Jian added.

"Cheeky, but not little," Xuan Yang added as he finished savoring the last of the stir-fried pork.
