The war should end soon. Like, sure—Tsunade, Jiraiya, and Orochimaru were all stationed in the Land of Rain right now to face Hanzo the Salamander.

But for the most part, the war was dying out. Way too many people were dying.

On a side note, Minato was getting the grasp of the Flying Raijin. He was getting quite good at it.

And he seed very good with the Rasengan. Man thanked him so many tis—he didn't know. Apparently, the Rasengan and Flying Raijin were an overpowered combo.

Adding Shunpo to that combo, and the second Minato mastered Flying Raijin, he'd actually be undefeated.

Because with Shunpo, unlike Body Flicker, he could move much faster and leave behind afterimages of himself which stayed there for like four seconds after he was gone.

Mind you, those afterimages followed your actions.

I.e., if he was throwing a shuriken before he Shunpo'd, the afterimage would finish that throwing motion—further enhancing the illusion he was still there.

While the actual Minato was already behind you, ready to slit your throat.

Truly the most OP of jutsu.

Alright, enough self-glaze.

Over the years, aside from the jutsu he gave earlier on, he had developed several E to D-rank jutsu—mostly focusing on the civilian side of things.

You know—making a weaker, more efficient version of the C-rank Fireball Jutsu so civilians could have a bigger bag of tricks.

That kind of stuff.

Anyway, enough about himself and how he was currently quite popular amongst the Konoha civilians and higher-ups.

As to why he wasn't being viewed as a threat or targeted by the village?

The loyalty-to-the-village act was paying handsoly. After all, what other ninja would be willing to share so much of their technique for their village?

And also, if we go on the political side:

He was Tsunade's student.

Captain of the ANBU.

The Jinchūriki of the Nine-Tails was basically his best friend, and her seal seed more stable with him around. She even seed to be able to use more of the Bijū chakra with his help.

He was also helping the grandson of the First Hokage get stronger.

Nawaki was currently a Jōnin of the Hidden Leaf. He was quite powerful, though he didn't have Wood Style. His Water and Earth Style jutsu were strong enough to compensate.

And also, you know, he had very good relationships with every prominent clan in the village in so way or another.

So yeah—

Shit would be mighty difficult if soone tried to make him vanish.

And since Seijuro was planning to show just how much he didn't like Danzo...

If he did vanish?

Well.

Seijuro had a small journal at ho with so of Danzo's sches written down. He was sure a very emotional Mikoto would find it.

And when that happened?

Yeah, he didn't need to explain the rest.

Speaking of Mikoto, he was currently waiting for her.

He leaned against the wall near the dango stand, dressed in a clean black high-collared shirt and loose shinobi pants. His sword wasn't visible, but everyone knew he had it. Hell, half the street whispered his na like a ghost story.

"Did you hear? He beca a Jōnin two years after leaving the Academy?"

"I heard he created all the new jutsu being taught in the Academy right now."

"I heard he never misses a mission."

Seijuro didn't react.

He heard them—he just didn't act.

His gaze was scanning the street for his date.

And then—she arrived.

Mikoto Uchiha. Dark, regal hair and that soft smile.

She wore a simple kimono, crimson-trimd, and had clearly taken the ti to do her hair properly.

She stopped in front of him.

"You're early," she said.

"Couldn't leave you waiting," he said calmly.

That earned a real blush—full crimson cheeks and narrowed eyes that tried (and failed) to look annoyed.

"You're lucky I like dango," she muttered, walking past him toward the stand.

Seijuro smirked and followed.

A small wooden tray sat between them, three skewers left—one almost finished in Seijuro's hand.

They didn't speak much—didn't need to.

But the air between them was soft. Comfortable. Almost hoy.

"I heard about the mission," Mikoto said after a pause. "Shikaku said it was... flawless."

He bit into his dango.

"It was fine. No casualties on our side," he said softly.

He finished a dango.

"Later this week, let's go out," he said calmly.

She froze.

Was he asking her on a date?

Like, sure—this was like a date, but he had just asked to hang out, so... not a date?

Her brain was really trying to find an answer.

He chuckled a bit.

Her reaction was funny.

The rest of their little dinner date was quiet, but nice.

Hm, he liked spending ti with her.

When their little ti ended, he made sure to walk her back to the Uchiha compound. The guards seed less guarded around him.

Hm. Good.

He'd have to speak with their elders soon.

Well, that would be fun.

When he arrived ho, he greeted Yui, then went to his room, locking the door behind him.

He was alone now. And calm.

Mostly.

A yawn escaped him as he stood shirtless in his training room, hand extended forward.

In the center of his palm—a sphere of violently swirling, high-density black-blue energy pulsed quietly.

A Bijūdama.

In base form.

No cloak. No tails.

Just him, raw chakra, and the terrifying fusion of the One-Tail's essence with his own.

His pupils montarily slit as his body trembled under the recoil.

Then—he released it safely into a chakra suppression orb he'd rigged in the room.

Absorbed like nothing.

He cracked his neck.

"Cool," he muttered.

That made him—well, not normal.

Bijūdama in human form? That was forbidden-level insane.

But now?

Now he had the capacity to go further.

His body was fully adapted.

His chakra network was enhanced beyond recognition.

He could begin the next step:

Sage Mode.

A/N....think Naruto daughter if you want to guess what kind of Jinchuriki he is.

On a unrelated note, Nawaki almost died on a mission to the cloud, but due to Seijuro seal on him, he was saved in the nick of ti, so he owned Seijuro a big ass favor.

On another note, if i do make the one piece story with the lunarien ninja, i was thinking he spawn in little guarden and he end up with Robin, but hey, i am all ears, {No harem please}.
