Nicholas remained ensnared in his mories, his fists clenched, and his gaze unwaveringly fixed on Klaus.

’As chaos threatened to consu the Runiya continent, the Arkdieu race descended, taking possession of their vassals—the Apostles. In a re matter of weeks, they orchestrated the annihilation of all five continents, pushing every race to the brink of extinction,’ Nicholas reflected.

’The calamities that befell Xyros were rely a ga for them. Xyros, just another world marked for destruction to alleviate their boredom. Despite the amassed power and the aid of the formidable Dragyr race, we were still no match against a single Apostle, their bodies enhanced by the curse known as the Arkdieu System," he continued.

"It was there that I t my demise at the hands of soone I considered my closest friend in my eighth life—Alex, or rather, the Arkdieu Pride."

In this new and last life, regressed once again this ti to the age of nine, Nicholas harbored a singular goal: to eradicate all Apostles with his own hands and thwart the Arkdieus from seizing control of their bodies.

"However, one obstacle looms large—Klaus Lionhart. His existence is an anomaly, and I must uncover what he is and what drives him. I only hope that his presence won’t disrupt the future too profoundly," Nicholas pondered, his intense gaze fixed on Klaus.

The days following Klaus’s move to the Lionhart Youth Training ground fell into a comfortable routine. He spent his mornings engrossed in ditation and arcane studies, refining his arcane core and deepening his understanding of magic. His afternoons were devoted to relentless physical training, pushing his body to its limits with weights, push-ups, and running over and over until he felt nauseous and dizzy from overusing magic.

His dedication didn’t go unnoticed. The other trainees, initially skeptical of his seemingly superhuman abilities, began to watch him with a mix of curiosity and admiration. They marveled at his endurance and the sheer volu of work he managed to accomplish in a single day, it was such a feat that they thought that even a seasoned swordsman couldn’t keep up with this kind of rhythm.

Alex, in particular, found himself drawn to Klaus. Though envy still gnawed at him, he couldn’t deny the respect he felt for Klaus’s unwavering dedication. He saw in Klaus a potential rival, soone who could push him to beco a better warrior and an Apostle, even though he still thought that he was better than him.

Nicholas, ever the enigmatic observer, kept his distance but remained keenly interested in Klaus. He watched him with a peculiar intensity, analyzing his every move and trying to understand the secrets behind his strength and his existence. There was sothing about Klaus that resonated with him, a sense of familiarity that he couldn’t quite place.

Sarah, anwhile, remained captivated by Klaus. His handso features and impressive physical prowess had already enchanted her, but his gentle nature and dedication to his training further solidified her admiration. She often found herself stealing glances at him, her heart fluttering whenever their eyes t.

As the days turned into weeks, Klaus’s progress beca undeniable. He grew stronger, faster, and more attuned to his magic. He could now lift weights exceeding 100kg and perform over two thousand consecutive push-ups. His willpower also grew exponentially, allowing him to cast spells with greater power and precision for an even longer period of ti before the usual dizziness and nausea kicked in.

The other trainees were no longer awe-struck by Klaus’s abilities they just accepted that Klaus was just a monster, they even gave him the moniker: Little Monster. So even started incorporating elents of Klaus’s training into their own routines, hoping to achieve a fraction of his success. He beca an unspoken symbol of perseverance and hard work, inspiring others to reach for their full potential.

One month day for day after Klaus moved into the Lionhart youth training ground, the instructors still didn’t co to check on them, Erina and Rick didn’t bother to show themself since the day they introduced themself as their new instructors, they left the trainees trained however they wanted to, which was a blizz for Klaus, it gave him enough ti to increased his stats doing the sa routine he was already doing when he was training in Ludovic’s mansion.

On that day afternoon, while Klaus was training on the running track, he felt a sudden surge of energy. His arcane core pulsed with power, threatening to break through its current limitations. He quickly withdrew to his room and started to ditate. He focused his mind, channeling the surging energy into his core, and pushed through the wall that was limiting his arcane core progress.

He had reached the second stage of mana core formation.

"The youngsters are truly impressive. Their dedication to training surpasses even my highest expectations," Rick remarked, his imposing figure overseeing the training ground with a discerning gaze.

"Exceeding expectations?" Erina inquired.

"We’ve allowed them to train independently."

"I’m aware of that."

"To be honest, twelve- or thirteen-year-old children typically lack significant willpower. I anticipated most of them would slack off after a week. However!"

Rick wasn’t exaggerating. Originally planning to select only ninety individuals out of the initial four hundred and one trainees, it now seed more would succeed than initially anticipated, thanks to the lord’s grandson, Klaus.

"More of them will pass than we initially thought, all thanks to the lord’s grandson," Rick declared, his attention shifting to the dormitory where Klaus had just entered.

"Yeah, that kid is truly exceptional. Even my son, whom I considered a hard-working genius appearing once in a century, seems to lack the fraction of dedication that this kid has displayed over the past month," Erina admitted, a hint of disappointnt in her voice.

"I suppose it’s ti to proceed with the second phase of their training," Rick suggested.

"Indeed, let’s witness the depths of their abilities," Erina declared, a malevolent grin stretching across her lips, adding a touch of dramatic anticipation to her words.
