Chapter 29

Translator: Vesper

The children went in and saw the delicious foods on the table and imdiately called people to wash their hands then obediently sat down while staring at them in shock.

“Alright, let us eat.”

Eating a bite, Yang Le Le had so feeling of not wanting to stop eating because it was just too delicious, especially the fish. After eating, so of the children complained that Yang Le Le stole away the fishes that they liked, making Yang Le Le embarrassed.

Waiting for the children to go out to play, Yang Le Le then looked at Ning ng Yao: “I really want to learn how to cook from you. Even if I do not learn to your degree, just learning a bit is fine, I will be satisfied.”

“If there is ti, I will teach you.”

“Really?”

Not long after both of them had tidied up and place the tables and chairs back, so wives appeared carrying ho-planted fruits and their expression were a bit awkward.

Yang Le Le knew these people. Their children previously studied at Ning ng Yao’s place but after the rumor spread to their ears, they listened and believed then followed those other people to speak bad things about Ning ng Yao and because of this, Yang Le Le did not like them.

“Do you have any business?” Seeing the people who went in but did not speak, Ning ng Yao did not have that the leisure dignity when the children were present, but cold indifference instead.

“ng Yao girl, that....”

Ning ng Yao’s behavior caused the crowd to be bifurcated and did not know what to speak.

“Aunties, why are you all here?” Yang Le Le could not stand it anymore and asked.

“ng Yao, we are here to ask...can you let our children continue to study?” One of the won in the crowd asked and the rest looked at Ning ng Yao in anxiousness.

Raising her head to look at them, Ning ng Yao opened her mouth after a while: “I do not have that much ti and energy.”

The crowd heard this and their faces paled. What did this an? Did this an that she’s no longer willing to teach their children words?

“But you before.....”

“You also said that that was before.” Ning ng Yao looked at their looks as if struck by thunder and coldly said.

At the beginning, she was willing to teach those children because of the desire to seek knowledge and she also wanted to do sothing to spend ti and aside from that was to assimilate into the village.

She used her own money to buy books, buy papers, brush, and ink, also not receiving any fee but once the rumor spread, the attitudes of these people let her beca unhappy.

She did not want them to protect her but when Yang Xiu Er ruined her reputation, they restrained their children from coming to learn words and since that was so, why would they co now?

“ng Yao, we know that this matter is our fault, but..... but.....”

“No need to talk.” Nign ng Yao shook her head and cut off the words of the other party.

They were children studying together but why were the other households adhere while they do not? It was actually a matter of their hearts looking down upon and looking for trouble.

She could relate to it since the rumor Yang Xiu Er spread around was not good to hear and that was why she could understand their way of thinking but this matter also reminded her that even though your heart leaned on other people, other people might not view you the sa.

That was why Ning ng Yao did not plan to continue teaching the village kids words no matter how these people spread whatever kind of thing.

The mother of the dog warden, Madam Du, saw that they were already humbly saying but Ning ng Yao actually still so arrogant and she beca dissatisfied, her sharp and harsh voice traveled over: “Don’t want to teach then don’t teach, is it not only filthy thing? There is nothing amazing about it.” After she said that, she took the vegetables she plucked and turned to leave.

She said as she walked, Even if she has to feed these vegetables to the dogs, she would not give it to those ungrateful people.

Ning ng Yao silently head Madam Du’s words and did not refute and it was because of this that Madam Du’s words beca even more unpleasant to the ears.

When Madam Du kept saying that Ning ng Yao was an ungrateful person, Ning ng Yao suddenly opened her mouth: “I don’t know what kind of grace did you gave , let hear about it, see if I rember things wrongly.”

Madam Du was originally smug when she did not hear Ning ng Yao refuting her, but when she was smug, Ning ng Yao then said those kind of words that imdiately caused Madam Du’s words to be stuck in her throat.
