The next morning, Yun Manor.
The house was very lively as many people talking and laughing could be heard from inside.
"Why is it that the wedding of General Bai’s daughter is being held from her in-laws ho? Even an ordinary couple’s marriage is held from the bride’s side?"
"I have to say that I quite underestimated this General Bai’s capability, who can’t even send off his daughter with a proper marriage!"
"I heard that the Crown Prince is also planning to take one of his daughter as the Royal Consort in no ti."
"Is that so? It seems that General Bai is quite lucky to have four daughters!"
"However, isn’t it too much to treat his own flesh and blood like this? Even if she is the daughter of a concubine, this is simply too much!"
"He turned this arrogant after Lord Yun himself brought up this topic of marriage willingly, he must feel quite high and mighty now that his daughters are getting married in such prestigious families!"
"General Bai didn’t contribute much in the war, it was all the sacrifice of the army. Yet he boasts about his pride shalessly! I hope that his daughter isn’t that kind of girl, or else I’ll feel sorry for our prince!"
"I heard that her mother is the waste concubine of the General, she was unfavored by his family. And her husband had to be that ’Young Lord of Yun’!"
As a strict, ruthless and tyrant type of a bachelor, Yun Shu did have a bad imimpression of herself within the Capital City.
But what people didn’t know was that it was actuactually Yun Shu herself who spread those rumours within the city to cause a ’simple misunderstanding’!
In this way, the girls and their fathers won’t dare to run after her and send her prospective marraige proposals.
"Even if Yun Shu is the son of Prince Yun, who is going to marry a ruthless and brutal young man in their right mind?"
"Maybe she also lost her head to make such a decision to marry him!"
"Who the hell are you to jugde Young Lord Yun?! So what if he is the ruthless grim reaper, if the grim reaper is such a handso young man, I’m willing to die happily under his sword!"
’Um... that’s annoying...’
Inside the bridal room, a girl dressed in red bridal clothes and exquisite make up was sitting calmly wearing a red veil, waiting for her call.
She was hearing what they said clearly and was very annoyed by these noisy bees.
They didn’t know anything about Lord Yun, why does they claim and believe such nonsence stories made up by the storytellers?
After a long ti, the door opened with a sound and two maids ca inside.
"Please hold our hand and follow us out, Young Mistress."
The girls were wearing maidservants cloth and was very friendly, however, Bai Yuncian was still able to detect their unusual look very well.
’Both of them must be Martial Masters raised by Lord Yun. Did he knew that sothing bad would occur so he left those two people to attend on and help ?’
Although Bai Yunxian was lost in his own thought, however, he didn’t had any intention to take a long ti as he took the two girls hand and walked out towards the pavilion, where everyone else was waiting.
As he reached the pavilion which was patched up with lavish designs today, Bai Yunxian took a pick at the man before him, and was completely stunned by his extra handso appearance today.
A man wearing the sa red robe as her stood within the lobby, as if waiting for soone.
The man’s long brown hair was waving, it gave off a strong aura, his dark phoenix-like eyes felt as if dense black clouds have ammassed in, it was a haze that couldn’t be dissolved, he affectionately looked at the person who was standing in front of him.
Yun Shu gave off a mysterious smile as she approached Bai Yunxian and spread out her hand, intending to escort the future wife inside the pavilion.
"You look beautiful like this too, you know? Miss Bai. Or, should I call you Mrs. Yun now?"
Yun Shu wanted to tease him to get him loosen up after seeing him get so stiff within so many people, and it actually worked out well as Bai Yunxian’s thoughts got distracted successfully.
"I’m not yet Mrs. Yun! People will get the wrong impression, please behave My Lord!" Bai Yunxian felt a little bashful even though he didn’t an to.
’Didn’t I always despise man like Yun Shu? How co I’m always feeling emotions like getting flustered and embarrassed?’
These questions lingered inside Bai Yunxian’s mind since the first eting. However, as ti passed, he gradually gave up trying to find the answers to these.
Because he made it sure that it was only Bai Yunxian that made him feel like that, not other man.
So it was ok, because he felt that only in front of Yun Shu, he can be himself.
"Haha, of course of course, whatever the Mistress say is right."
As the both of them took the three bows of marriage, Bai Yunxian suddenly had a strange thought that he never had before, an extrely strange thought that he didn’t think of having.
’What if, Yun Shu was a girl...?’
Would this marriage vow be just like any other normal couple? Would he had lived a good life then?
However, Bai Yunxian shook off the thoughts which couldn’t ever co true for real, he mustn’t look forward to these kind of embarrassing thoughts!
That man already gave him too much, even the things he couldn’t dream off, though all of these ca to him in a strange way...
What kind of immoral thoughts he was getting?
Bai Yunxian gave up thinking about other things as he prepared for the wedding procession, and the elder brother-in-law helped him get onto the carriage like a dutiful brother.
While the wedding ceremony was processing smoothly, a certain soone couldn’t be laid low just like before as he tried to look for trouble.
"I’m the father of the bride she should be grateful to for bein born in this world! How co I wasn’t invited in the wedding ceremony of my own daughter! Bai Yunxian, you are nothing but a ungrateful daughter! Have you had any sha, you would’ve certainly told these people to invite !"
"You are so ungrateful that you would rather not make any vow to your parents when getting married, this is certainly a bad on! Does the Young Lord still wish to marry sucha vulgar woman like this?!"
For so reason, it seems that General Bai’s head today wasn’t functioning well. This made Yun Shu to frown, but the third brother sqeezed her shoulder to make her co back to reality as he whispered,
"Don’t worry and stay calm. Eldest brother will take care of that man for you. Since it’s your happy day today, just stand back and watch the fun!"
These words said by Yun Ming literary ant = "It’s a auspicious day, don’t ruin it by splattering blood everywhere, please, I beg you!"
The annoyed and weird restraining expression seed to be saying so, and the grip on Yun Shu’s hand loosened after taking a look towards her ’pretty bride’.
"Do whatever you want, I don’t want to be held back for long." Yun Shu shook her head as she went to look for the horse she would take to the procession.
After watching Yun Shu walk away with a care free manner, the Yun brothers let out a breath of relief as Yun Chu jumped over to General Bai and patched his arm around his shoulder, dragging him off to a corner to make things clear as he exchanged glances with others to start the procession.
’At that ti, didn’t he say we had already cut off our relation as father and daughter?’
’Even if I were his son, I can’t even tell the difference whether it was truly a daughter or son, how ridiculous! Has he ever looked at properly?’
Now that he saw all the benefits of being the father in law of such an influential man, he imdiately ca running to preserve that benefit.’
’I never thought that even after living countless lives, I would still get hurt by this attitude.’
’I’m... truly silly and groundlessly stupid.’
Bai Yunxian felt sorry for himself as he got lost in his own thought of despair. However, there was still a silver of hope which ca to him like the sound of tapping fingers.
"Yunxian, are you alright? Should we start the procession or you take ti?"
’It seems that I’ve worrying him too much? But why does he fee so kind rather than that crafty and selfish father of mine?’
Bai Yunxian smiled bitterly that wasn’t quite a smile as he said, "I’m fine. Start the procession, no need to delay."
