Chapter 196: End This Soon

"Go get Thea now!!!" shouted Mr. Big to his n as he prepared to go to the dock. He needed to leave the country as soon as possible because of that moron, Old Man Skull. He couldn’t afford for his na to be connected to him. He would have to lay low for so ti.

"Boss, we don’t have enough ti to clear everything out of our hideouts," said Draco, his right-hand man.

"Fu*ck! Fu*ck!" cursed Mr. Big as he exploded in rage, "Just destroy everything! Make sure there will be no traces!"

Mr. Big’s n quickly dispersed to clean out everything from their hideouts, while he called Wolf to close the deal tonight, because the sum of money that he would gain from the transaction was just too big to miss out on. He must get that money.

Inside the car he did not stop cursing as he watched everything live from the telecast. "Idiot! What a Numbskull!" He already instructed his n to do what was needed; to clean out everything that was related to that cretin, Old Man Skull, and that included the Old Man Skull himself. That mouth of his needed to be silenced for good before he could talk and pull him down with him.

He switched to another car that would head to the dock, where a speedboat would bring him to the ship, where he would conduct the transaction with Wolf and Hawk’s group.

Thea was still at the office when her phone rang. She couldn’t help but tremble upon seeing who was calling. It was Leon. She knew Leon would go into hiding after what had just happened that night.

"Chin..." she mumbled almost crying because she did not know what to do. She stayed inside the newsroom as she tried to gather herself and keep her mind calm to think of what she should do.

Jeru promised that he would let Chin return to her tonight. She turned off her phone and quickly searched for Jeru’s card that he had left her.

"Thea, aren’t you going ho?" it was Director Hols who was the second-to-last person apart from her that was still inside the newsroom. He was just about to go ho when he saw Thea was still sitting at her desk. "Are you alright?" he asked when he noticed Thea’s ashen face.

"Yes, I will head ho soon. Just waiting for my pick-up," Thea replied as she forced a smile.

As soon as she found Jeru’s card, she quickly dialed his number from the office’s landline.

"Hello, Jeru...? Chin and I... We need to leave soon. Leon... He has sent n to collect ..." said Thea stutteringly.

"Stay inside, we are almost there... I have already alard the security team to go to you," said Jeru.

Despite Jeru’s reassurance, she was still feeling uneasy. She knew how capable Leon was after having witnessed everything that he had done during the long years that they were together. At this ti of hour, when there would only be a limited amount of people around their building, she was sure that Leon would easily have his n inside.

She looked around for things she could use to defend herself. But the newsroom was filled with nothing but papers. And the only thing she could find that was remotely resembling a weapon, was a small scissor.

Thea cursed as she stared at the scissor because she knew herself all too well. The re sight of blood would make her faint. That was Leon’s thod to torture her... He would force her to watch the many grueso killings that he would do to a person like it was nothing, and without showing any emotion nor remorse. He would do this so often, and every ti it happened, Thea would always faint, again and again, at the horrid scene that was violently presented before her. And before fainting, she would always hear his evil and hideous laughter as if his darkness would soon engulf her whole.

How could she use that scissor? Just the thought of her stabbing soone with it frightened her. Then she rembered about the pepper spray that she usually carried inside her bag.

"Oh God," she whimpered as her hands trembled heavily searching for it inside her bag. She jumped to her feet, when she heard the door open.

She moved to run towards the entrance at the thought that it would be the security that Jeru had sent her way. But she soon gasped in fear as her eyes widened and her body weakened when she saw who it was at the entrance.

"Hello, Madam, long ti no see... Did you miss ?" greeted Draco while locking one of the building’s security guys in one of his arms, as he smiled smugly at Thea.

Draco was the last man whom Thea would want to see. He’s a despicable man who had done a lot of horrible and criminal things.

He would frighten her so much that she would always almost pee in her pants whenever she saw him. Her body trembled as her hands held a chair in front of her for support, before her knees would give out.

"Are you going to co with

without making a fuss? Or maybe I should just do it my way like I used to? Oh, but how I missed your fearful look, Madam, so let’s just do it my way, okay?" said Draco with a foul laugh and before Thea could close her eyes, Draco already slashed the neck of the man that he was holding in front of her.

The blood gushing out from the man’s neck was the last thing she rembered seeing before she fainted and fell on the floor.

"Go pick up that bitch and hurry!" Draco instructed his n as they moved in haste towards the parking lot. He had also ordered them to call for their usual clean-up team who would wipe away all of the ss they had caused to make it look like nothing had ever happened.

anwhile, Jeru finally arrived as he saw so n going out from the exit door with a woman carried like a sack of grain. He quickly went out of his car to see that it was Thea, and she was unconscious.

He was alone. His n were with Chin, in a separate car who was also heading to the Cooper’s Network building. He ran towards Thea and shouted, "Put her down!" before his fist landed on the jaw of the man who was holding her.

Draco’s n imdiately attacked back, and Jeru fought them fiercely one by one. Draco made a neck cracking sound as he watched Jeru fought.

The man was obviously a professional fighter. He grinned as excitent rushed through his veins. He walked towards Jeru and signaled his n to leave with Thea.

"How about you give

your best shot!" Draco shouted with a smirk. Jeru attacked him. He kicked him hard in the face that it seed like Draco’s head would fly off.

Then Jeru hurriedly followed the man who had Thea. But Draco stood up as he spat out blood and teeth with a mocking grin. "Not bad," he murmured as he rushed behind Jeru and made his attack.

Jeru was caught off guard as Draco knocked him down. Draco pulled his knife as he said grinning, "Ohhh, another blood... Too bad... I want to fight more but I need to end this soon..."
