Gepard, still focused on his call, heard Topaz's reminder.

"By the way, that phone model has an ID scan feature—it can automatically verify the identity of authorized personnel."

"Hmm? Really? Apologies, I've only been using this device for a few days. I haven't explored all its features yet."

Topaz laughed lightly. "No worries, no worries. When I first used one, it took quite so ti to figure out all the functions."

Then, she smirked and probed further.

"That model... it's the latest version, isn't it? Where did you get it?"

Gepard responded matter-of-factly: "Hmm? A Trailblazer gave it to . His na is Pei Guang. He told it was useful. If you require any assistance, I can help you contact him. He is an incredibly kind, brave, and selfless individual—always willing to help those in need."

Topaz's eyes widened in shock.

"It was him?"

Gepard raised a brow. "You know him?"

Topaz nodded. "Mhm~ A friend of mine knows him and asked to help with an event…"

Hearing this, Gepard's eyes lit up.

"Oh? You know Pei Guang, right? Did he assign you a task?"

Topaz noticed the sudden shift in his tone.

Just monts ago, his attitude had been purely professional, even sowhat cautious. But the mont she ntioned Pei Guang, his tone changed completely—was that… admiration?

Topaz shook her head. "No, I'm not doing a job for him. A friend of mine asked to help him."

Gepard nodded with understanding. "I see. So he gave you a task, right? That must an it's sothing urgent—sothing so difficult that even he needed to find soone from the Interastral Peace Corporation?"

"???????"

Topaz was utterly confused.

She had rely ntioned Pei Guang's na, yet this guy's attitude had shifted entirely.

Curious, Topaz decided to probe further. "Aren't you worried that I might be lying to you?"

Gepard shook his head. "That's impossible. If soone really tried to deceive that Trailblazer judging by his usual habits, I'd say things wouldn't end well for them."

He paused, then added. "I rember Miss March once said, 'No one who's ever wronged Ah Guang has had a good ending.' The last one who did… I think her na was Phantylia."

"Hiss—!"

At that mont, Topaz rembered everything.

If it were just Pei Guang's na, she wouldn't have recognized it imdiately. But Phantylia? That instantly jogged her mory about recent events.

Just days ago, information about Aeons and Emanators had spread across the entire interstellar network.

There had been countless viral videos with the title "You've Been Scamd!" circulating everywhere.

And more importantly, she had read about the Xianzhou Luofu's battle against the Lord Ravager, Phantylia.

Then ca a shocking live broadcast—Phantylia, totally humiliated.

The aftermath?

She recalled a ssage she'd read:

"The Traiblazers aboard the Astral Express assisted the Xianzhou Luofu in eliminating Phantylia. Her strongest form was utterly defeated, and her severed head is now displayed at the bow of the Luofu as a trophy."

At the ti, she had rely thought of it as another piece of entertainnt news—laughing it off while also envying her colleagues stationed in the Luofu who got to witness a Ravager Lord's decapitated head on full display.

Regardless of whether Pei Guang had personally fought Phantylia or not, one fact remained indisputable—

"If the Trailblazer was involved, then Phantylia's beheading was definitely related to him."

After all, at the level of an Emanator, simply defeating one was already difficult.

But outright decapitating them and putting their head on display? She had never heard of any Emanator achieving that before.

Topaz quickly recovered and chuckled. "Hahaha! Co on, do I really look like I'd lie to you? I was just ssing with you—you seed a bit too serious, so I wanted to tease you a little."

Gepard simply smiled, choosing not to respond.

At that mont, Bronya's confirmation ssage arrived.

She had verified Topaz's identity and instructed Gepard to escort her group into Belobog.

Seeing this, Gepard turned back to Topaz. "The Supre Guardian has confird your identity. Please follow . While the Stellaron has been sealed, there are still Fragntum zones around. It would be dangerous if you accidentally wandered into one."

With that, he turned and led Topaz and her team toward Belobog.

Topaz didn't say much, simply hugging Numby in her arms as she fell into deep thought.

As soone in her position, she naturally had access to a wealth of intelligence.

However, she hadn't expected so many seemingly unrelated pieces of information to all connect back to this one person—Pei Guang.

Her curiosity was now fully piqued.

At that mont, Topaz realized sothing.

"This Pei Guang… might be far more interesting than I initially thought."

As she pondered, she curiously asked, "Do you know what this Pei Guang has done? I've never t him, and I'm quite curious."

Gepard thought for a mont before speaking.

"What has he done? Let think…"

After a brief pause, he continued.

"He saved this world. He allowed the people of Belobog to see hope—to see a future where their descendants will no longer suffer from the Stellaron and Fragntum's erosion. A future where they can live freely on this planet."

Topaz raised an eyebrow. "Oh?"

Gepard added, "There are many things I cannot share—so of them are Belobog's secrets. But what I can tell you with absolute certainty is this: if you et him, you can trust him completely. He will never betray the trust others place in him."

Topaz noticed sothing peculiar.

As soon as Gepard ntioned Pei Guang's na, the Silvermane Guards nearby displayed a kind of devout reverence.

Even more strangely, the power of Preservation began manifesting from them unconsciously.

Even Gepard himself, as he spoke, radiated a pure and powerful energy of the Path of Preservation.

It was bizarre.

These people were supposed to worship Qlipoth, yet sohow, the re ntion of Pei Guang had evoked such a pure and strong reaction.

Topaz didn't even know how to respond.

She chuckled. "Well, I'm soone who takes my promises seriously. If I agree to sothing, I'll definitely follow through. But after hearing all this… I'm even more curious about what kind of person Pei Guang is."

Gepard smiled. "Once you et him, you'll understand. He's the most extraordinary, most unbelievable person I've ever t. I rember back then…"

Halfway through his sentence, Gepard suddenly fell silent.

Because he realized so things were better left unsaid.

So stories… might be a little embarrassing. Not just for the Silvermane Guards—but for Pei Guang as well.

After all, the Trailblazer using trash to repel the Silvermane Guards… That did happen.

But it was probably best not to bring it up.

After all, no one wanted to look back in history and see themselves getting defeated by garbage.

Topaz smirked. "I see~ Now I'm looking forward to eting him even more."

And she wasn't lying.

For the mont, she set aside Belobog's debt situation: right now, her biggest curiosity was Pei Guang himself.

Successful or not, she was determined to et him in person and see what made him so special.

She also wanted to understand how Pei Guang had managed to make a group of devout believers in Preservation show such reverence whenever they thought of him.
