Inside the Matrix of Prescience Ultima, Fu Xuan remained silent as she observed everything unfolding before her. She truly hadn't expected that even within this space, the Pei Guang from March 7th's mories would possess such terrifying power—to the extent that he directly intervened and wiped out all distorted mories himself.
Fu Xuan: "As expected of him…"
She had already appeared beside March 7th, who was still staring intently at the trash can left behind after the mory Pei Guang disappeared.
"Fu Xuan, look! This is the trash can Ah Guang left for . But it's so strange… why would a trash can be left behind?"
Fu Xuan pondered for a mont before answering, "Now that all the distorted mories here have been erased, the fact that this remains ans it is an important part of one of your past experiences. Its presence is a sign that the Matrix of Prescience Ultima has successfully filtered out interferences and managed to restore another part of your mory. This should be linked to… another mory related to trash cans. But speaking of which, what exactly is the deal with these trash cans?"
The mont Fu Xuan asked about the trash cans, March 7th's excitent instantly surged.
"If we're talking about origins, then I have a lot to say! This trash can is a specialty of Belobog."
Fu Xuan: "Belobog? I think I ca across that na while browsing the Astral Chart archives: there are many similar planets along the Xianzhou's trade routes. Unfortunately, after the appearance of the Antimatter Legion, most of them have disappeared."
March 7th nodded enthusiastically. "Belobog is a snowy, post-apocalyptic city. That place has tons of these trash cans! You probably don't know this, but Belobog uses a special underground mineral called Geomarrow, combined with heating devices, to make the entire city habitable. Once we get to Belobog, I'll show you around~ Oh, right! You ntioned that this is connected to another mory. So if I touch this trash can, will I be able to enter that mory?"
Fu Xuan: "Yes. Try knocking on it and see if we can jump into that experience."
March 7th: "Alright~ Let give it a shot."
March 7th cheerfully approached the trash can, tapping it a few tis from different angles. When nothing happened, she decided to open it. The mont she lifted the lid, the very sa heating facility she had just ntioned appeared before her eyes.
And at that instant, the smile on March 7th's face froze.
As the saying goes, a smile never disappears—it only gets transferred. And right now, it was the trash can that was grinning. It knew it wasn't a wishing lamp, but if this cute girl made a wish, it would fulfill it for her.
Unfortunately, it knew it wasn't the River God either; otherwise, it would have loudly questioned March 7th:
"Did you drop this golden heater, this silver heater, or this ordinary heater?"
"Pfft!"
Seeing March 7th's frozen expression, Fu Xuan couldn't hold back a chuckle. However, she quickly coughed twice to cover up her laughter before speaking seriously, "Alright, go ahead and knock on that thing."
March 7th adjusted her mood: "Alright, let give it a try. But… I've never actually touched a heater before. This thing looks scorching hot. If I put my delicate hands on it, won't they turn golden and crispy? If Ah Guang and Stelle were here, they'd definitely use my hands to make a plate of fried chicken, right?"
Fu Xuan calmly responded, "Don't worry. This is a mory space. As long as you haven't been burned by it in reality, your mories won't inflict actual harm on you."
March 7th looked at Fu Xuan: "Why don't you try touching it first?"
Fu Xuan raised an eyebrow at March 7th's cautious attitude, then firmly grabbed her wrist. "Less talking, more touching!"
March 7th panicked: "Ahhh! Don't pull my hand! It's hot, hot, hot—!!!"
As March 7th cried out, the surrounding environnt changed in an instant. But just before the shift, she vaguely caught sight of a few words.
[March 7th, don't look back. Keep moving forward.]
Montarily stunned, she suddenly realized that the scenery had shifted—this ti, she had arrived in Qlipoth Fort.
Though the scene had changed, the burning sensation on her hand didn't fade. "Oh my god, that's so hot! You said I wouldn't get burned—what happened to that?"
Fu Xuan countered, "I said you wouldn't get burned. I never said you wouldn't feel the heat. As long as your mind understands the sensation, your mory will automatically fill in the experience. Hmm? So, this is Belobog? It's not cold at all."
She looked around, surprised that it wasn't as snowy as she had imagined. Instead, they were inside what appeared to be a large room.
March 7th nodded. "Eh? But I feel really cold!"
Fu Xuan shrugged. "That's probably because I've never actually been to a frigid wasteland. Oh well, you'll just have to experience the cold of your own mories. In Luofu, I could help you since I was part of that past, but here in Belobog, you're on your own. Find the anomaly and make it appear."
March 7th put her hands on her hips and proudly grinned as she spotted Pei Guang in the distance, smacking Cocolia's head with a trash bag. "No worries, this young lady has figured everything out! I've already found a way to skip 'class!'"
Hearing this, Fu Xuan nodded but then paused, suddenly growing serious. "There's sothing else I need to ask. Have you ever experienced imnse pain before? Sotis, people subconsciously block out painful mories. Have you noticed? Except for Pei Guang, everyone you've interacted with here has been trying to convince you not to recall your past."
She pursed her lips and continued, "It's as if your subconscious is warning you not to rember. Of course, there's also the possibility that your mories have been externally tampered with—soone may have planted a suggestion in your mind to prevent you from recalling sothing significant."
March 7th crossed her arms and thought for a mont. "Honestly… I never thought I was important enough for soone to go through all that trouble to seal my mories…"
Fu Xuan pressed further. "But you don't rember anything, do you?"
March 7th pondered for a bit before answering, "Actually… Ah Guang had a theory about my mories. He guessed that maybe my mories were sealed by an Aeon or an Emanator's power. At the ti, I thought it was impossible, but you know what? Ah Guang is super smart. Even if his guesses aren't 100% correct, they're always on the right track.
So now, I'm going to assu that Ah Guang's guess was correct—that so powerful existence really did seal my mories. And if that's the case, then I have even more reason to investigate! I can't just let whoever did this get away with it, right? This lady is ready! Once I find the one who sealed my mories, I'll make them eat one of Ah Guang's special als—mixed with trash!"
Hearing this, Fu Xuan's interest was thoroughly piqued. She smirked. "Interesting… Very interesting. Now I'm even more curious about all of this."
Fu Xuan's figure disappeared from the scene, as March 7th now had to search for anomalies on her own.
Staying any longer wouldn't provide her with much help.
