Stelle looked at Pei Guang and March 7th in front of her, her brain working hard to process what was going on. After a few seconds of thinking, she felt like her mind was about to overheat, so she gave up and turned to Pei Guang instead.

"Ah Guang! Not cool! You found sothing fun and didn't bring along!"

Pei Guang imdiately activated his deflection skills. "You can't bla for this. We didn't co here to have fun—we're just helping Ah Fu complete a request. Hey! You know what? 'Ah Fu' actually rolls off the tongue pretty nicely, even better than Fu."

Fu Xuan crossed her arms and gave Pei Guang a dissatisfied look. "It doesn't sound nice at all. It's rustic and unsophisticated. But… since it's you… fine. If it sounds rustic, then so be it. Just don't call that in front of outsiders."

She had completely forgotten that they were currently inside the Divination Commission. More importantly, she had also forgotten that the diviners around them could perform divination themselves.

But for Fu Xuan, such details weren't important.

Pei Guang reassured her, "Don't worry. I'll only call you that in private."

Fu Xuan nodded in approval. "That's fine, then. But back to the main topic—while I'm not an expert in dicine, I have read extensively, and I know that mory loss generally falls into two categories: Either the mories are deeply buried in the consciousness and cannot be recalled, or they have been erased from the brain through so ans."

Pei Guang fell silent. The mont Fu Xuan laid out those two possibilities, he had a strong hunch that March 7th's case was likely the latter. But he also felt that saying this outright might shatter March 7th's expectations.

In gas, the outco is important, but the process matters just as much. And following the usual tropes, if a character is searching for their lost mories, every step of the journey is crucial, as each task could lead to vital clues.

Skipping any part would be out of the question.

Fu Xuan, too focused on March 7th, didn't notice Pei Guang's thoughtful expression. She continued, "We'll find out which case applies to you once we use the Matrix of Prescience Ultima. But first, we need to gather the materials necessary for the calculations."

Pei Guang suddenly raised an eyebrow. "Wait a minute. How co you didn't need materials when you were divining for ?"

Fu Xuan replied matter-of-factly, "You weren't suffering from mory loss. All I had to do was analyze your existing mories and compare them with the star charts recorded in the Xianzhou. But who would've thought that your mories would be… so bizarre?"

When Fu Xuan recalled the images she had seen through the Matrix of Prescience Ultima, her heartbeat involuntarily sped up. Especially when she saw that Pei Guang's mories had censored her with a mosaic—just a single glance at that mont had made her heart pound uncontrollably.

Realizing she was getting sidetracked, Fu Xuan quickly explained, "March 7th's mories are unreliable. To make the Matrix's calculations more accurate, you need to provide sothing related to your past experiences—anything will do. Once you've prepared everything, co find at the Matrix of Prescience Ultima."

March 7th bead. "If it's sothing related to my past experiences, I have plenty on hand!"

Fu Xuan nodded. "Then let's head to the Matrix of Prescience Ultima together."

She led the group to the Matrix, and once they arrived, Fu Xuan turned to March 7th. "Bring out the items related to your past. Your journey must have left you with quite a few aningful souvenirs, right?"

March 7th hesitated for a mont before turning to Pei Guang. "I've got a bunch of stuff I've picked up along the way, but I don't know what to pick. Ah Guang, do you have any suggestions?"

Pei Guang thought for a mont. "Since Ah Fu just said anything will do, why not just take out everything you've collected?"

March 7th's eyes lit up. "Ah Guang, you're a genius!"

Stelle, however, crossed her arms and grumbled, "That's not exactly hard to figure out…"

Though she was complaining, for so reason, she felt sothing was off between March 7th and Pei Guang. As a mber of the group, she couldn't just stand by and watch as March 7th acted strangely. She decided that once everything was settled, she'd investigate properly and see if March 7th was hiding anything.

March 7th, unaware that Stelle was onto her, took out her Star Rail ticket first. "This is my proof of boarding the Express! The conductor herself gave it to ."

Pei Guang suddenly raised an eyebrow. "Wait… Hiko gave you a ticket? Why didn't I get one?"

March 7th hesitated. "Uhh… maybe the conductor forgot?"

Pei Guang frowned. "That's impossible. Even though she didn't hand a ticket directly, the Star Rail itself literally ran over when I chose my path."

Lifting his shirt slightly, he revealed a Star Rail ticket imprinted on his clothes.

Fu Xuan examined it and nodded. "A mory from the Star Rail? This should work. Do you have anything else?"

March 7th then pulled out an ID badge from Herta Space Station. Pei Guang took it curiously, examining the badge with interest. It displayed March 7th's portrait along with the designation 'March 7th - Level 1 Staff.' But Pei Guang knew that at this level, all the badge really allowed her to do was… unlock the station's bathrooms.

Pei Guang smirked. "Huh? Why don't I have one of these?"

March 7th chuckled sheepishly. "Well… you've never needed to open any doors. And considering your… 'wall-removal' skills, the Space Station just gave you the highest level of access."

Normally, outsiders wouldn't be granted full access, but Pei Guang was different. After all, he had saved countless lives on the station. Just for that, Asta had given him top-level clearance, and no one had objected. Besides, it wasn't like the station's doors could stop him anyway…

Rather than letting Pei Guang demolish every locked door in his way, it was safer to just let him have full access.

After handing the badge to Fu Xuan, March 7th pulled out a few shiny gemstones from Belobog. "These are my battle trophies from Belobog! Oh, and this too!"

She then proudly presented a cup of Immortal's Delight, the signature tea of the Xianzhou. The mont she took it out, Fu Xuan fell silent.

Seeing her reaction, March 7th quickly explained, "This is my cherished mory of Xianzhou! It's really good, you know?"

Fu Xuan sighed. "I didn't say anything… I just prefer Startaro Bubble."

Having briefly revealed her personal taste, Fu Xuan refocused and looked at March 7th seriously. "Is that all? Do you have anything from before you lost your mories?"

March 7th thought for a mont, then shook her head. "From before I lost my mories? Sorry, but when Hiko found , I was completely frozen in ice. Like, naked-as-a-newborn level frozen. I had nothing on ."

Pei Guang tilted his head. "You said you were sealed in ice, right? Then why not use ice as the dium?"

March 7th gave him a deadpan look. "That ice lted away when I was freed. It's completely gone."

Pei Guang pondered, "Not necessarily. Can't you condense Six-Phased Ice?"

March 7th: "Huh? Oh yeah! You're really quick-witted. Speaking of sothing I had before losing my mory, it should be my ability to condense Six-Phased Ice, right? This chunk of ice I just shaped should et the requirents, right?"

Seeing the Six-Phased Ice that March 7th had ford, Fu Xuan nodded. "No problem. I'll have soone send these items to the foundation of the Matrix of Prescience Ultima. Once you're ready, step into the core, and we can begin the deduction at any ti."

March 7th: "Got it~"

She responded cheerfully and made her way toward the center of the array. However, just before stepping in, she nervously glanced at Pei Guang.

"Um, Ah Guang, can you co with ?"

Fu Xuan shook her head. "Sorry, that's not possible. If you bring him, the Matrix of Prescience Ultima will break."

Pei Guang: "?"

Fu Xuan looked at Pei Guang with so exasperation. "Your background is too outrageous. The Matrix can't withstand the mories of your past. Even if your past wasn't that terrifying, bringing you along will only introduce unnecessary information."

Pei Guang turned to March 7th. "Looks like I can't help you this ti~ Good luck!"

Fu Xuan then addressed March 7th. "Rest assured, I will be guiding you as you trace back your past while reading your mories. If we reach a barrier that prevents you from recalling further, the Matrix of Prescience Ultima will use the information we've gathered to deduce a possible past for you. You don't need to worry—I will be in constant communication with you from outside the array and can intervene in a limited capacity."

March 7th: "No problem! If there's a barrier preventing from recalling my past, I'll just smash it to pieces!"

Now that she had reached this point, March 7th cast aside her worries. After all, both Pei Guang and everyone on the Express were supporting her in recovering her past.

At this mont, she solidified her resolve to find her lost mories. There were still so lingering concerns in her heart, but when the one she cared about most supported her, she felt an endless surge of motivation.
