Kevin, Vill-V, and their newest ally, Fu Hua, listened carefully: Vill-V had a strange feeling that sothing was off, but after hearing Pei Guang's explanation, she couldn't deny that… it actually made sense.

But Stelle and March 7th?

One had been raised by Pei Guang and had grown increasingly devious under his influence.

The other was the famous Detective March 7th.

From the mont Pei Guang spoke his first sentence, both of them knew—this guy was absolutely up to sothing.

And the instant he uttered "I'm not just trying to ss with you", both of them imdiately confird—

Pei Guang was absolutely trying to ss with Kevin.

That said… For Kevin?

Pei Guang's "ssing around" wasn't a joke—it was genuine trust.

At first, Kevin thought the weapon's energy drain would only make him feel a little weak. After all, during his initial tests, he rely felt a slight fatigue after depleting his health, and as long as he consud the recovery items Pei Guang had given him, the weakness would vanish instantly, returning him to peak condition.

Unleashing eleven consecutive bursts might seem terrifying to others, but to Kevin, if it ant obliterating the enemy, then a bit of exhaustion was nothing—it was an absolute bargain.

Stelle and March 7th took note of the resolute look on Kevin's face. Seeing the unwavering determination and deep gratitude in his expression, they couldn't help but recall their past experiences in Belobog and Xianzhou.

Pei Guang always seed like he was about to scam or sell soone out, but every single person he had "scamd" or "sold" had only ever wanted to thank him afterward. From the Silvermane Guards to the Cloud Knights, and now Kevin—it was clear that Pei Guang had successfully led yet another person astray.

But, well… to them, this wasn't necessarily a bad thing. After all, after spending enough ti with Pei Guang, they had co to understand his personality—sotis, he would get unexpectedly tsundere. He would talk about grand plans, declaring things like "I'm going to do this or that," but his actions would always precede his words.

Sotis, he was even so hasty that he would skip any polite pretenses and just get straight to work.

Kevin took a deep breath and declared firmly, "Understood. I will not let you down—I will destroy the Legion."

For Kevin, eradicating the Antimatter Legion was a promise he and i had made long ago. The Legion's invasion had annihilated their holand, turned countless cities into wastelands, and taken the people of Earth, transforming them into mindless enemies.

He had vowed, to her and to everyone, that no matter the cost, he would see the Legion wiped out.

And now, the weapon Pei Guang had bestowed upon him had granted him the power to do just that. The so-called "cost" of using it? To him, it wasn't even worth ntioning.

Seeing Kevin's unshakable determination, Pei Guang clapped his hands in approval. "Excellent! That's exactly what I want to see from my elite unit! Since you're so fired up, I've decided—you're coming with . We're going to wipe out the remaining Voidrangers on Earth. Let's exact our revenge!"

March 7th was startled. "Huh? Already? I thought we'd wait a little longer."

Pei Guang waved his hand dismissively. "No need to wait. Right now, we're just deploying a high-powered individual soldier. If Kevin wreaks enough havoc, that pesky Lord Ravager might think our goal is simply to cultivate a warrior strong enough to challenge them. Besides, if we've got a powerful weapon in hand, why wouldn't we fight back? That's just not our style. These bastards ca to our ho and took a dump on our lawn!

Sure, we can turn their waste into fuel, but honestly, I'd rather my ho just be clean. So it's not just the Voidrangers on Earth that need to be wiped out—once we're strong enough, we're going to take this fight all the way up. From the Lord Ravager itself to the lowest Voidranger, we'll purge them all. We're gonna kill, kill, kill!"

Kevin looked down at his weapon, as if about to speak, but just as he opened his mouth, he suddenly noticed sothing strange.

The world around him had changed.

He found himself standing in the vast expanse of space, surrounded by stars. Ahead of him, a golden light shimred, catching his attention. Clutching Judgnt of Shamash, he took a step forward, drawn toward it. He didn't know how far he had walked, but eventually, he was t with a sight that shook him to his core.

A towering figure, resembling a centaur, lood before him. Though the entity's gaze was upon him, Kevin had the distinct feeling that it wasn't particularly interested in him—but it had no choice but to choose him. Yes… the entity hadn't spoken a word, yet Kevin understood this instinctively.

Before he could even process the situation, the celestial being raised its bow and fired an arrow of radiant light straight at him.

In that instant, Kevin's vision was engulfed in blinding brilliance.

The next thing he knew, his sight had returned, and he found himself back with the others. "You guys…?"

Staring at him, everyone wore expressions of surprise and curiosity.

Kevin frowned slightly. "Do I… look strange?"

Pei Guang smirked. "Nope. You just received a blessing from an Aeon. To put it simply, you've undergone a class change."

Kevin blinked. "A… class change?"

Pei Guang nodded. "Yep. From the looks of it, an Aeon has taken an interest in you. Too bad I can't quite tell which Path it is. So, what exactly did you see?"

Kevin hesitated before answering, "It was… a centaur?"

He wasn't sure if describing the being that way was disrespectful, but that was the best word he could think of.

Pei Guang's eyes lit up. "Oh! The Hunt! That's a solid Path—very generous with its blessings. So, now that you've class-changed, have you noticed anything different about yourself?"

Pei Guang had a very favorable impression of The Hunt.

Back on the Xianzhou, it was the Aeon of Hunt who had empowered the Lighting Lord, turning it into a weapon that had been wielded against him. Sure, it was just a scripted event, but usually, scripted boss fights were just cutscenes you had to watch. This ti, he had actually been able to participate—personally. That alone had earned The Hunt so major points in his book.

Kevin furrowed his brows in thought. "Sothing different? I think…"

Lifting Judgnt of Shamash, he suddenly felt a deep understanding of the blessing he had just received from the Aeon of Hunt.

After a mont, Kevin spoke up again, "This is incredible. I don't know why, but I can feel that when I use this weapon in battle, defeating enemies will shorten the cooldown ti of all my equipped weapons based on the strength of the enemy."

Pei Guang: "Tsk! That's a pretty useful ability. No problem, with the blessing of the Aeon, you'll be even better at taking down Voidrangers. Perfect timing, let's find a place where they're gathered, test out your skills, and have so fun taking down a few. Let's go!"

Kevin: "Understood!"
