At that mont, Asta had just finished a conversation with her mother. While her family held significant influence in the Interastral Peace Corporation, granting access to a standard star system wasn't a problem. But Asta's request was more demanding: she wanted a system that was suitable for developnt, resource-rich, conveniently located, and free from external interference.

eting one criterion was simple enough, but satisfying them all was challenging. Nevertheless, Asta's mother, being a senior executive in the corporation, managed to find a system that fit the bill.

The star system contained fifteen resource-rich planets, four of which could beco habitable with minor atmospheric adjustnts, while one was already naturally livable without modifications.

The system had initially been reserved for the Amber Lord, but since the Amber Lord had declined it, it remained unused and well-preserved.

In terms of safety, the system was highly secure due to its proximity to a barrier constructed by the Amber Lord itself. The transportation network also was excellent, as nurous trade routes had been established to deliver resources to the Amber Lord.

As for resources, the system was overflowing. Several planets still housed piles of untouched tribute materials originally prepared for the Amber Lord. The resources had been left untouched for so long that they had gathered dust, but since they wouldn't deteriorate, they were left as they were.

To summarize, the resources of just one planet in this system could surpass those of several or even dozens of other systems. When Asta ntioned giving this system away, her mother's first reaction was to wonder if her daughter had been tricked by so rascal nad Pei Guang.

But upon hearing about the Ambrosial Arbor Fruit Pei Guang had brought and verifying its authenticity through her connections with the Xianzhou Alliance, she was utterly shocked to find out it was real.

It sounded like a joke: the Xianzhou Alliance actually acknowledged the Ambrosial Arbor Fruit Pei Guang was giving away. Although the fruits didn't grant immortality, they did offer an unconditional extension of life by several decades.

The term "unconditional" alone was enough to make Asta's mother take this matter seriously. Moreover, aside from its life-extending properties, the symbolic significance of the Ambrosial Arbor Fruit couldn't be ignored.

Because of this, Asta's mother agreed to her daughter's request without hesitation and promptly selected a suitable system.

However, so formalities needed to be settled internally within the corporation. Although the system was available for gifting, there had to be proper docuntation. Asta's mother assured her it would all be finalized by the next day, after which she would provide Asta with the system's coordinates.

Finally, with everything in motion, Asta let out a sigh of relief. Just as she relaxed, Pei Guang ca to see her.

Seeing him approach, she greeted him warmly. "You're here~ Did sothing happen? Is there a task you need my help with?"

Pei Guang smiled and replied, "Actually, yes. Here's the situation…"

He succinctly explained the mission he had taken on. After listening, Asta nodded in understanding. "I see! No problem at all. I wish him all the happiness in the universe. As for the reporting issue, I've already taken care of it.

"He didn't leave the space station with the intent to abandon his post—he just wanted to find his loved one. For now, I'll keep his position open. If they decide to co back one day and wish to stay, they can resu work. If not, I'll arrange sothing for them then."

Asta always treated the Herta Space Station's staff well. Almost everyone ca here because of Herta's reputation, and for the sake of that, she didn't mind giving so a cushy position with a hefty salary if they wanted to take it easy.

If anyone had dreams or ambitions elsewhere and wished to leave, as long as it wasn't due to deception and was a well-thought-out decision, she would let them go without issue.

Pei Guang replied, "Alright, handle it as you see fit. I just ca to inform you, so this task flow is basically done. Now, I just have to wait for that guy to return and hand my mission reward~."

Asta nodded. "No problem~. By the way, what are you planning to do with that star system? Should I help you prepare so personnel in advance?"

Pei Guang considered for a mont. "Preparing personnel in advance? Not a bad idea. While I was playing in the Simulated Universe earlier, I unlocked a lot of schematics. Most are unusable, but a few seem feasible. Could you check if you can produce these for ? If not, could you help collect the materials listed?"

Asta smiled brightly. "Got it~ Leave it to . But hey, since I'm helping with another of your tasks, how about so good ol' positive relationship points~?"

Pei Guang sent Asta a few technology blueprints. The list wasn't extensive—just the schematic for a Mobile Construction Vehicle. Though not rare across the universe, it was pivotal for Pei Guang.

To him, this vehicle was essential for unlocking all technological advancents. Once he had the Mobile Construction Vehicle, he could start small-scale developnt, mining, and production in the star system Asta gave him.

Since the star system she provided was uninhabited, developing it from scratch would require an enormous amount of ti and effort.

Still, he wasn't worried: he viewed this kind of farming simulation as a side activity, sothing to tinker with when there weren't pressing main or side quests.

The technologies unlocked by the Mobile Construction Vehicle weren't groundbreaking—basic systems like airplanes, tanks, cannons, and even a few transdinsional devices.

In Pei Guang's words: a classic hodgepodge of technologies, but all polished and with unique features. Perfect for idle monts of crafting and managent!

Seeing Asta agree to his request so readily, Pei Guang began to ponder further. Since he wanted to enjoy this experience properly, he decided he needed manpower.

But where to find manpower? After so thought, he realized he had plenty of options.

He could recruit scientific personnel from the Space Station or source labor from Belobog. Looking through his basic tech portfolio, he noticed that the stitching together of various systems was impressively comprehensive—ideal for starting his farming endeavor.

Although the Mobile Construction Vehicle was in place, its initial capabilities were limited to building cities. While planning a city, players could choose the technological and civilizational developnt paths, but based on current progress, the level unlocked by the Mobile Construction Vehicle was equivalent to Red Alert standards.

To unlock interstellar-level technology, the entire technological branch had to be fully unlocked, requiring a substantial population and sufficient resources to transition to the next stage.

The gears of fate began to turn, but no one could predict what the future held for this star system. Even Pei Guang himself approached this simulation ga with a casual attitude. Judging from the system's tech tree, unlocking even the foundational technology of the next phase would take a century—a tifra in which the main story would likely already be completed.

Besides, commanding wasn't exactly exciting. Compared to being a commander, he preferred the idea of being an adventurer. Still, being an adventurer didn't stop him from casually enjoying this fully stitched-together ga system.

"Since I have ti to kill, I might as well play around," Pei Guang thought.

He truly had no grand ambitions; it was a lighthearted pasti, akin to how RPGs sotis include ho-building elents—features most players dabble in casually without overthinking.

Not only was Pei Guang laid-back about the endeavor, but Asta also approached their interaction with the sa carefree attitude. She valued fairness in her friendship with him: if he was generous, she certainly couldn't afford to be stingy.

Herta, too, paid little attention to the situation. Whatever happened in the Simulated Universe was ultimately just that—a simulation. Besides, Pei Guang was rely ssing around on the space station. What could possibly co of it? Could he really dismantle the Herta Space Station?

Not that Herta wanted to brag, but she felt she had Pei Guang's thought processes figured out. She trusted that he wouldn't do anything excessive.

And Pei Guang truly had no plans to overreach. His only intention was to casually experint while also setting up a Mobile Construction Vehicle on one of the planets within the star system that Asta was gifting him.

After all, it was just a Mobile Construction Vehicle.

What's the harm in that~
