Rayven wryly smiled at the Baron’s request.

Spell Rune Model?

That was going to be a problem.

Unlike traditional mages, Rayven didn’t imprint spells into his core using runes or rituals. His system handled everything. He acquired spells through his Skill Market, selected them from a list, and cast them directly using the system’s thod. There were no scrolls, no diagrams, no rune sequences... There just just clean, efficient execution that he couldn’t really explain.

He had no idea how to extract or share a Spell Rune Model. In fact, he wasn’t even sure if his spells had one.

Still, he didn’t reject the offer outright.

"I’ll think about it..." Rayven said once again while keeping his tone neutral.

The Baron nodded, satisfied for now.

He was also aware that the Spell Runes models aren’t cheap. Furthermore, Rayven must’ve acquired the model from soone else, and he might need permission before even considering sharing or selling it.

Still, he knew that if Rayven needed money, he would be able to sell it to him...

"If you change your mind, I’m willing to pay generously for the Inner nd rune. It’s rare, and it could save lives."

Rayven nodded and didn’t respond too much. He simply kept it in his mind in case the system decided to gift him with the Spell Rune Model...

’I should have asked the Suggestion Feature later.’ He thought.

The Baron then continued writing the Letter of Recomndation. Then, as he finished it up, he turned to Rayven.

"There’s another matter," he said. "Count Viremont has been searching for a mage who can ta beasts. Not just control them temporarily, but form long-term contracts. It could be Feral Beasts or even dungeon beasts, I’m not too sure..."

Rayven raised an eyebrow. "That’s a niche skill."

"Very..." the Baron agreed. "And dangerous. However, it will be a lucrative job. The Count has been expanding his forces, and it might be related to that. Anyway, he’s looking for soone who can handle the creatures without triggering instability."

Rayven nodded slowly. "I can’t help with that. Beast taming isn’t part of my path."

"I figured," the Baron said. "But with this letter of recomndation, the Count will at least know you’re trustworthy. If there’s any work suited to your talents, you’ll be contacted."

That was enough.

Rayven didn’t need to be involved in beast taming. He just needed to find information bout the Count’s activities...

’Ahhh... Wait... I guess Summoning Spell isn’t too bad.’ Rayven mused.

Although he wasn’t planning to enter the beast taming path, he just thought that having a Spell that could summon creatures or entities that could fight for him wasn’t a bad idea at all.

If it ever ca up, he would surely purchase one...

’But if that’s the case, the Summoned Creature might even ask gold coin every second of sothing...’ Rayven helplessly smiled at this idea.

It was definitely not a random thought.

After all, his Coinbound System was definitely capable of doing that.

Still, if a creature asks for 1 gold per second, that creature must be incredibly strong. He didn’t even mind if they were more expensive than that, but they must be Alpha-Tier Beast or even Lord-Tier Beast!

Rayven then shook his head after reaching this random thought...

The Count’s network was vast, and if Rayven wanted to expand his reach among the nobles and complete his mission, this letter of recomndation would be the best reward he could get from the Baron...

"Thank you," Rayven said. "That’s all I need."

The Baron folded the letter, sealed it with his crest, and handed it over.

"Use it wisely," he said. "And if you ever need a place to return to, the Fumiya estate will welco you."

Rayven accepted the letter, slipping it into his coat.

His mission here was complete.

***

Of course, Rayven didn’t head to Count Viremont’s estate right away.

He had been away for so ti, and before anything else, he needed to check on his businesses.

First stop was his Eterna Script Trading, his modest but growing shop that specialized in fountain pens, ink, and writing accessories.

The storefront was clean and the custors browsed quietly... Soon, the staff greeted him with subtle bows...

Gene, his appointed manager, was already waiting in the back office with a grin. He didn’t mind that Rayven disappeared for several days.

"Welco back, Boss," Gene said. "Everything’s running smoothly. No complaints or shortages. We even had a few bulk orders from the Academy last week."

Rayven nodded, flipping through the ledger. The numbers were good. After deducting employee salaries, rent, materials, and ink imports, the shop had remitted 380 gold coins in profit.

Not bad at all.

Next, he checked the Eterna Mayonnaise, the more chaotic of the two ventures but also the more popular. The scent of herbs and oil wafted through the air as custors lined up for jars of various sizes, and so of them were even here to put an order for the next month...

Rayven didn’t linger long since he trusted Gene, and the inco spoke for themselves.

With both businesses stable and profitable, Rayven finally returned to the Golden Coast trading estate...

"Ahh?" Rayven paused for a bit after entering the estate...

Soone was actually waiting for him. It was a familiar figure dressed in a dark coat with silver trim.

It was Stein, his older brother.

Rayven was curious since Stein should be in Ferdain City. One of the three branch of Golden Coast Trading.

Stein smirked after seeing his little brother. "You’re late. I heard about the Baron’s daughter." Stein said. "You really pulled it off."

Rayven was a bit shocked as he didn’t expect that the news would co so fast. It seed that the Baron inford them deliberately, or Stein had a spy inside the Baron’s estate...

"I just completed a Silver-Rank Mission..." Rayven replied.

Stein studied him for a mont before he nodded.

Anyway, he wasn’t here because of the Baron...

"Well... You’re right on ti. I’m here because we have a problem... Do you rember your fiancée? Sothing happened, and you need to return to our house..."

"Ha?"
