Gu Jin would send out a fist or a palm strike towards Lu Yue and she would counter it with her Sword Technique.
However, she would be blown back and injured every ti.
After a few more of this, Lu Yue realized that she was getting further away from the battle.
Gu Jin had purposely brought them here.
“Are you just now realizing the situation you’re in?”
Gu Jin said with a laugh.
Lu Yue had fallen to the ground and as she slowly got up, Gu Jin’s gaze road over her slightly disheveled body.
It didn’t take a genius to understand what was going on.
However, Lu Yue seed unphased despite the blood at the corner of her lips and was even weak to the point where she had to lean on her sword for support.
Looking at Gu Jin, she said.
“And it seems you haven’t realized the situation you're in yet.”
Upon hearing that, Gu Jin frowned.
However, a mont later his expression changed.
Inside his body, he sensed several strands of frigid energy slowly circulating in his ridians.
If it weren’t for Lu Yue’s words just now he would have never scanned his body and sensed them.
Gu Jin imdiately circulated his Fire Qi and tried to expel them, but that was a colossal mistake.
The strands of frigid energy suddenly reacted violently to his attempt to expel them and erupted in his body.
Gu Jin suddenly vomited out a mouth full of blood and his body temperature drop all of a sudden.
Gu Jin imdiately sat down and instead of trying to expel the strands of frigid energy, he tried to contain them.
anwhile, Lu Yue slowly approached him.
After reaching him, she lifted her sword to sever his neck.
However, a crimson light suddenly sprang from his body and block her sword before her it could reach his neck.
With a loud clang, Lu Yu’s sword rebounded from the barrier.
Gu Jin opened his eyes slightly and looked at her with derision before he closed his eyes and went back to suppressing the strands of frigid energy.
Lu Yue seeing this had a frantic look appear on her face for the first ti.
This was the one chance she had painstakingly set up to kill Gu Jin. However, she was too weak to get past his Qi Barrier.
It wasn’t even that strong, it was that she was simply too weak.
If only the Yin and Yang essences hadn’t weakened her to this extent.

Lu Yue gripped her long sword and began slashing at Gu Jin’s barrier in a frenzy.
She didn’t want this… She no longer wanted to feel this weak and helpless while everyone around her struggled to protect her.

Tears began to pour out of Lu Yue’s eyes as she continuously slash at Gu Jin's barrier.
However, as she lifted her sword and was in mid-swing, Gu Jin suddenly sprang up and slapped her sword to the side.
Lu Yue stumbled forward but her head suddenly jerk back and a loud slap echoed out.
“Fucking bitch, if you had just surrendered then it wouldn't have co to this. Do you think I just fancy any woman? You should feel proud you’re able to interest !”
Lu Yue’s cheek was red from Gu Jin’s slap. Her hair blocked her current expression but one could see her shoulders trembling.
However, her body went still all of a sudden, and an eerily feeling perated the air.
Gu Jin looked at her and frowned.
He went to grab her hand, but as soon as the tip of his finger made contact with her skin, he drew it back and suck in a cold breath of air.
It was hot, extrely hot.
Gu Jin was confused, he cultivated Fire Qi so how was that possible?
“You-”
Gu Jin was about to say sothing, but his body suddenly retreated on instinct.
BANG!!
Imdiately after he did a horrifying energy erupted from Lu Yue’s body.
Both hot and cold energy swept out into the surroundings. At the sa ti, a red and blue fla began swirling around Lu Yue.
Gu Jin’s expression changed and he retreated even more, not willing to co into contact with this fla.
The strands of energy that entered his body was already terrifying, but with this fla in front of him, his scalp couldn't stop tingling.
However, as he was retreating away, Lu Yue’s head turned and her gaze landed on him.
Imdiately as her now dazzlingly red and blue sapphire pupils land on him, Gu Jin felt death loom over his body.
“Get away!!”
Gu Jin cried out and without carrying for his image, he turned and flew off in a panic.
Lu Yue’s gaze never left him, and as the Yin and Yang fla erupt from her body, she raised her hand and pointed at Gu Jin.
The Yin and Yang fla around coalesced into a giant hand and went to grab Gu Jin.
Gu Jin cried out once more but he could only close his eyes as the hand was too fast.
However, after a few seconds of not feeling the impact of the hand, Gu Jin opened his eyes to see that the hand was dissipating.
Gu Jin then looked at where Lu Yue was to see a figure surrounded by shining stars hugging her.
“Stop Yue, if you continue you’ll burn your life energy away.”
Lu Shen’s voice softly whispered in Lu Yue’s ear.
Lu Yue’s hand fell and the hand made of the Yin and Yang fla completely faded away. Afterward, Lu Yue looked at Li Shen’s face, her glowing eyes slowly dimming down.
“My future husband, I suspect you're really bad at showing up when you’re supposed to.”
Lu Yue jokingly muttered.
“I’m sorry, Yue.”
“It’s fine, as long as you show up…”
Lu Yue’s voice trailed off before she limply collapse in Li Shen’s arms.
