Xi Shen was glad that she had no knowledge about his secrets but still had on a solemn expression.

‘Was it because of the heavens blessings that my fate is unreadable? Or is it sothing else?’

Dongi spoke up and said, “Li Shen, even though I couldn’t see your future, I determined that your faith is tied with the survival of our Maple Continent. From the things I saw over the last hundred years, my heart is in turmoil at the events that are going to unfold in the future. I believe your re existence is sothing that could potentially divert those disasters to a different outco.”

Xi Shen sat there listening to Dongi, but he was confused as she was barely making any sense, ‘Survival of the Maple Continent? Disasters? Isn’t she hinting at the fact of the Maple Continent could face a disaster that could destroy it in the future? Or am I mistaking it?’

Xi Shen suddenly began scratching his head as the more he think about it the more he was getting confused.

‘And I can’t ask her for more information, as that would lead to more trouble and make things a lot more complicated.’

Dongi after a period of silence said, “Maybe this is hard to comprehend for you now, but what will happen will happen. Until then just be safe, don’t do anything that would get you killed, else the consequences would be unimaginable to fathom.”

Xi Shen's frown slowly deepen on his face as he thought, ‘What will happen will happen? And she’s saying that I shouldn’t get myself killed, did she see sothing that would warrant my survival to stop the disaster? Or maybe I’m the one that stops the disaster? Wait!! Is that why she brought into her Sword Pavilion, and made an Inner Disciple as well as asked those weird questions about my health? Just what exactly did she see?’

While Xi Shen was in deep thought, Dongi took out a green jade slip and slid it across the table to Xi Shen.

She then said, “Even though our Celestial Academy isn’t like the Divine Star Academy, we were once of a similar nature so our Soul Arts could be said to be on the sa level as them. This jade slip contains Mantras of various low and high-level Soul Arts, it will help you in your endeavors of creating a Faction of your own. There is also a Soul Art among them that despite it being of a simple nature, would beco one of the strongest Soul Arts on the Maple Continent in your hands.”

Hearing that, Xi Shen was taken aback. Taking up the jade slip Xi Shen sent his disguised Divine Will inside of it to read its contents. However, behind her veil Dongi’s beautiful ocean blue eyes flickered.

‘He’s only beco a Soul Cultivator for a few months but his Soul has already gone through more than half of its transformation to a Divine Soul. Just how special is this child that even the heavens themselves are protecting him?’

Dongi’s eyes were unlike ordinary people’s. What she saw compared to others was completely different. Currently, around Xi Shen, she saw a golden halo that was giving off the might of the heavens. She did not know if the heavens showing such favor to Xi Shen was all good or all bad. But the feeling she got while eting Xi Shen was that he had the potential to beco extrely powerful in the future.

‘His future is unpredictable even by the heavens themselves, which makes his existence all the more terrifying.’

Xi Shen looked at the Soul Arts in the jade slip and he was stunned at the amount. Just a quick scan and he realized it was hundreds! Even for him, it would take him a few weeks to go through, not to ntion master them all.

‘Learning them all is impossible for , and it is rather pointless as well. It’s better if I go through them all and then pick out the ones that suit my tastes. I’ll also get familiar with all of them as well. Even though I haven’t decided whether I should choose quantity over quality when choosing my Faction mbers, it’ll still be good to know various types of Soul Arts either to increase my understanding of them or to have one ready for a new Faction mber.’

As Xi Shen was thinking to himself, he saw sothing weird.

‘Huh? This Soul Art, wait, huh?!! There is such a Soul Art?! I can’t believe it this is perfect, I can make my Faction mbers cultivate this Soul Art, it’ll beco a string that ties us together.’

Xi Shen's eyes began to shine at the prospects of using this Soul Art. The Soul Art in question was called, -Heavenly Connection Soul Art-.

It allows two or more people to link their Souls together. It sounds simple and there is a downside that says the number of people that can link together is determined by the strength of a single individual’s Soul, the person in control of the Link, but in Xi Shen’s hands this weakness might as well not exist.

This Soul Art could lead to him creating an army of cultivators that move as one entity, and that wasn’t all, Xi Shen can think of several things that he could use the link for. The most prominent ones that imdiately co to his mind are sharing comprehension and syncing combat abilities in battles.

‘Is this the Soul Art she was talking about? I can definitely see how powerful and useful it can beco, but I can’t help but feel that her words about it becoming one of the strongest Soul Art on the Maple Continent are rather exaggerated. Yes sure it would beco extrely powerful in my hands, but maybe I'm missing as to why she would say that.’

Coming out of his thoughts Xi Shen stood up from his chair and turned to Dongi before saying, “Thank you, Head Master.”

Dongi said with a smile, “You don’t need to thank , I did this more for than you really.”

Hearing that, Xi Shen lifted his head and said, “Well, even if that’s the case I still receive so help from you so I’m not one to be ungrateful for it.”

Dongi then said, “I’m sure you have other things to attend to outside. You can return now.”

Xi Shen saw Dongi wave her hand to him, and he turned around to see the wooden door behind him.

Xi Shen thought it was ti to leave as well and opened the door to leave, but his steps suddenly paused one step out the door before he turned to Dongi and asked, “Head Master, I have two questions I request to know.”

Dongi had poured herself another cup of tea and after taking a sip she said, “Go ahead and ask, but I might not be able to answer fully.”

Hearing that, Xi Shen imdiately asked, “What caused the relationship between my brother and Ling Tian to beco hostile. It was after they t you.”

He was told this by Fang Chen and Fei Yin so ti ago, as well as the rumors, but eting her now he thought the rumors of their falling out was because of her beauty to be false. So he was curious what it was since that hostility Ling Tian had for his brother was coming back to bite him.

Dongi placed her cup on the table and then said, “There conflict started because of Ling Tian. I gave them a test that only your brother passed and he received sothing. Ling Tian was angered by that and it resulted in their fallout. That’s all I will say since this is sothing that’s not destined for you but for your brother. You shouldn’t interfere, or involve yourself too much.”

As confused as that response made Xi Shen, he went on to his next question.

“For my second question, I want to know what this place is.”

Xi Shen motion to the world they were in. Since he was by the door he could feel sothing different about it but couldn’t really understand why it was different from the outside world.

Answering Xi Shen’s question, Dongi said, “You'll eventually co to know when you enter the Heavenly Palace Realm. Now if you don’t have anything more to ask, you can leave.”

Xi Shen felt a gentle force push him out the door.

‘I’ll know when I reach the Heavenly Palace Realm?’

Xi Shen asked confused.

‘What does she an by that, does that world have sothing to do with the Heavenly Palace Realm. Then does that an she’s reached that realm?’

After a second, Xi Shen suddenly realized sothing and his eyes widen.

‘Wait, I’ll know when I reach the Heavenly Palace Realm?!!’

Xi Shen thought again but this ti he was filled with shock.

He imdiately whipped his head back around, but he saw that the door was long gone.

‘She knows I can cultivate Qi.’

Xi Shen had on a frowned.

‘I never release any Qi fluctuations so did she know because of her ability to see the future? Or is it because of her cultivation? If it’s the latter then does that an the senses of Heavenly Palace Realm can detect my Dao Foundation? Ahh fuck.’

Xi Shen cursed in his heart when that thought appeared in his mind.

‘I hope it’s not the latter.’

After thinking that, he turned to look around his surroundings.

‘Huh? How am I supposed to return back to my courtyard, where is that Fei Fei at?’

As Xi Shen beca amused about the weird nickna he found for Ye Fei, back in the separate world, after Dongi gently made Xi Shen leave, her body trembled before she coughed up a mouth full of black-colored blood.

The black blood splashed across the table, painting a tragic scene.
