But Cai Murong didn’t imdiately get out. Instead, she looked at Chen Zheng with a smile. "Can I hug you?"

Cai Murong gently hugged Chen Zheng. As the song played inside the car, she held him tighter and tighter.

Then, she let go of Chen Zheng and continued smiling. "Chen Zheng, I have regrets! My wish list is longer than this. I want to call you tomorrow. Can you co out and play with for one more day?"
Chen Zheng nodded earnestly. "Of course!"
Cai Murong then left, skipping away like an indefatigable little sprite.
Chen Zheng rolled down the car window and took a few deep breaths.
Matters of life and death weren’t for him to decide. He really wanted to help Cai Murong, but there was nothing he could do.

Wang Yu was standing at the hotel entrance, apologetically seeing off each guest. It was then that he suddenly saw a familiar figure and froze. "You little bastard, what are you doing here?!"

If it weren’t for Chen Zheng, he would be cuddling a beauty in bed right now instead of standing here playing doorman!
"Does one need a license to enter this hotel? Or perhaps a dog tag?" Chen Zheng asked, his face expressionless.
"Ha!" Wang Yu scoffed. "I’d forgotten, you drive a decent car, so you must have so money. But this place is booked solid today, so get lost. As for what happened earlier, I’ll find ti to settle that score with you... slowly." His eyes flashed with viciousness as he spoke the last word.
But Chen Zheng didn’t leave. Instead, he looked straight at him. "I was invited to dine here today. Are you telling to leave?"
"Hey, are you out of your mind?! You were invited here for dinner? The entire Crown Hotel is booked solid today! The Su Corporation is hosting a banquet for so very important guests. Do you really think you’re important enough for the Su Family to invite you?!"
Wang Yu looked as if he had just heard the funniest joke in the world and began to shake with laughter.
Chen Zheng looked at him playfully. "Why don’t you go inside and ask? The Su Family put you on reception duty. What happens if you turn away one of their guests?"
Wang Yu froze, montarily dazed by Chen Zheng’s confidence.
Could the Su Family have actually invited him?! Impossible! Absolutely impossible! He knew practically every upper-class figure in Magic Capital, and this guy wasn’t one of them! The only people who would warrant such a grand banquet from the Su Family were mbers of the equally prestigious Li and Liu Families. Definitely not this guy!
With this in mind, Wang Yu imdiately regained his composure. "Kid, not a bad act. You almost had fooled. Now get lost before I’m forced to deal with you right here!"
Chen Zheng shrugged. "You said it. I just hope you can be as... defiant later on."
With that, he turned to leave. The Su Family invites to a banquet, but they post soone at the door who doesn’t even recognize ? What’s the aning of this? Are they deliberately trying to block my way and humiliate ?
"Ha! You dare threaten ? If you don’t leave now, I’ll have security drag you out!"

Wang Yu froze mid-curse. The person who had rushed out was Su Yunduan of the Su Family—the man rumored to be the next Family Head!
"Grandmaster Chen!" Upon seeing Chen Zheng, Li Cangyun imdiately smiled and bowed. The people behind him showed the sa deference.
Chen Zheng nodded slightly but didn’t stop walking.
At that mont, Su Yunduan also rushed over. "Grandmaster Chen! Grandmaster Chen, this way, please!"
Chen Zheng glanced back at him. "From the Su Family?"
Su Yunduan imdiately nodded fervently. "Yes! Yes! I’m Su Yunduan!"

Su Yunduan was completely stupefied. What just happened?! Why would he turn around and leave right at the door?
anwhile, Wang Yu stood at the lobby entrance with his mouth agape, his head spinning as he nearly fainted.

Li Cangyun looked at Liu Daoyi in confusion. "What happened?"
Liu Daoyi was just as baffled.
They exchanged a look, then both turned to Su Yunduan.
Su Yunduan also looked bewildered. "I don’t know either. I just went to arrange for so exciting entertainnt, and when I ca back, this was happening..."
As he spoke, he suddenly whipped his head around to glare at Wang Yu. His gaze was sharp as a knife, and Wang Yu felt as if he’d been struck in a vital spot.
He rigidly dropped to his knees.
A muscle in Su Yunduan’s eyelid twitched. "Damn it, so it really was you!"
"Wang Yu, if I don’t make you pay for this with your life today, then I’ll write my family na, Su, backward!"
Saying this, he strode forward and slapped Wang Yu across the face.

Wang Yu was sent flying, crashing hard against a pillar in the lobby. His face was a bloody ss as he lost consciousness.
