As the convoy sped toward them, a man with a sacred and tiless air stepped down from one of the vehicles. Naturally, it was Gao Feng.

Following closely behind him were dense ranks of equally skilled Association mbers. The Alliance had caused such a major incident today that the Association had naturally received the news early on, so Gao Feng also had to make preparations.

"I am so sorry, Mr. Chen... We arrived too late!" Gao Feng said with the utmost respect as he briskly approached.

"It doesn’t matter. Your arrival is perfectly tid," Chen Zheng replied with a slight nod, his expression unchanging.

"Gao Feng, it seems you intend to protect this kid?" Liu Daoyun couldn’t help but frown. "Surely you don’t think you can actually protect him with your inner strength already half-depleted?"

As he finished speaking, Liu Daoyun couldn’t resist adding a taunt. He clearly didn’t take the Association mbers seriously at all, seeing them as nothing more than a bunch of cannon fodder.

"You had better not forget Mr. Chen’s status..." Gao Feng began.

"Cut the crap! What’s the use of status?" Liu Daoyun showed no respect whatsoever. "In today’s world, everything is based on strength. You don’t have an ounce of the dignity a Martial Artist should possess, groveling and bowing before status like a pathetic dog!

"Gao Feng, do you even know why your Association has ended up in this state?

"This is the reason right here!

"The world has already changed significantly. In the future, only we will be the protagonists. No one can change that!

"There’s only one outco for those who oppose our Alliance—certain death!"

As he spoke, Liu Daoyun’s expression was filled with imnse confidence, as if he could reduce these people to ashes with a re wave of his hand.

Hearing this, Gao Feng’s face turned grim. "Liu Daoyun..."

"Let tell you the truth: no matter how the world changes in the future, for now, we still have to act according to the rules. Don’t tell you’re so eager to start a war with the higher-ups?"

"You’re going to lecture about rules?" Liu Daoyun chuckled coldly. "Talking about rules is a sign of weakness. You willingly obey them because you are fundantally weak! Our Alliance is so powerful that even if you were all wiped out today, what could the higher-ups do besides scold my grandfather a little?"

"You..." Gao Feng was furious and about to say more.

But just then, an old man standing behind Liu Daoyun slowly stepped forward. "Young Master, no need to waste your breath on this fellow. Let this old man take his head. If any trouble arises, just bla it on , Old Zhang!"

After saying this, the elder who called himself Old Zhang casually slapped a nearby stone. Instantly, nurous cracks spiderwebbed across the large rock’s surface.

Seeing this, Gao Feng’s mouth twitched, and he let out a long, slow breath. He had suspected that this elder had already cultivated his inner strength to a high level, but witnessing it firsthand, he couldn’t help but feel terrified. Just this one old man was more than enough to deal with him!

"Liu Daoyun, you are far too confident," Chen Zheng said, a cold smirk touching his lips. "Do you really think the Alliance can disregard everything and do as it pleases? I’m afraid you don’t realize that I could easily crush you all with a casual wave of my hand."

"Oh, really?" Liu Daoyun smiled. He truly had no idea what gave this guy the courage to say such things. Did he think the two masters of inner strength standing beside him were just for show? Not to ntion all the other experts waiting nearby.

"Kid... you want to try bluffing , huh?" Liu Daoyun laughed heartily.

"Really?" Chen Zheng sneered again.

The words had barely left his lips when shrill whistles echoed through the air. A barrage of bullets flew toward them, accurately striking the chests of the Alliance’s experts. These masters of external techniques didn’t even have a chance to react before their chests were pierced. They collapsed, dead before they could even utter a sound, and one by one, their bodies rolled down the mountainside.

A deathly silence fell.

It all happened so fast that no one had processed what had just occurred.

Liu Daoyun swallowed hard, his eyes darting around in a panic. He never would have dread that snipers were lying in ambush here. The Alliance mbers were indeed powerful, but not so formidable as to stop a sniper’s bullet. In this wide-open area, they had no chance to escape. In less than a minute, so many of his experts had died—a devastating loss for the Alliance.

"Chen Zheng! You dare kill my Alliance’s n! I will have you torn limb from limb!" Liu Daoyun shrieked. "Seniors, kill him now!"

"You’re dead, kid!"

The two elders were highly experienced. They understood that under these circumstances, only by capturing Chen Zheng could they regain control of the situation. Without any hesitation, they roared and charged toward Chen Zheng at top speed.

At that mont, Chen Zheng lifted his right hand and slowly snapped his fingers.

SNAP.

The stone that Old Zhang had previously struck exploded without warning. Stone fragnts shot out erratically like bullets, shredding the bodies of the two elders. They were riddled with holes before they even hit the ground.

Chen Zheng then snapped his fingers a second ti.

The elders’ legs instantly burst apart, followed by two agonizing wails. Then their entire bodies exploded, dying instantly. Hot blood sprayed across Liu Daoyun’s face, leaving him completely stunned.

After a long mont, his eyes widened in disbelief. He was the only one left, and his body trembled uncontrollably. He stared at Chen Zheng as if he were seeing a ghost, unable to speak for a long ti.

"I told you," Chen Zheng said, slowly shaking his head. "I only needed to wave my hand to take your lives. Why didn’t you believe ?"

The onlookers all stared with wide eyes, their faces filled with utter shock.

With just two snaps of his fingers, he had completely eradicated masters of inner strength.
