To Sun Yan, Chen Zheng was indeed very handso—tall, with sharp, distinct facial features. But he was just a stinking soldier with no real skills to speak of, easily overlooked. Ultimately, he was nothing but a worthless good-for-nothing.
"What are you doing here?" Sun Yan demanded, her voice cold as she pointed to the door. "This is my café. I’m sorry, but you are not welco here. Please leave imdiately!"
What a joke. This was a critical mont for earning her best friend’s trust, and she had just managed to win Gao Wuchang over. She couldn’t let this piece of trash ruin everything.
Chen Zheng also recognized the woman before him as Sun Yan. During their wedding, she had been his wife’s bridesmaid and had gone out of her way to make things difficult for him. When he went to pick up the bride, Wei Zixuan, Sun Yan and the others had made him wait outside for over an hour.

Just then, Gao Wuchang slowly rose from his seat, blocking Chen Zheng’s path.

He’s so plain! In both looks and build, he’s no match for , and his clothes make him look no different from a beggar on the street. No wonder Wei Zixuan looks down on this trash; he really doesn’t deserve her! The two of them are from entirely different worlds!
"I am indeed her husband, but I’m no piece of trash. Get out of my way!" Chen Zheng said, his voice ice-cold.
"What did you say?" Gao Wuchang’s eyes widened. "You’re telling to get lost?"
At that mont, Sun Yan quickly walked over. "Young Master Gao, don’t be angry. There’s no need to stoop to the level of this worthless trash! Let handle this."
Sun Yan persuaded Gao Wuchang to step aside, then threw a aningful glance at Wei Zixuan.
At this ti, Wei Zixuan’s eyes were red. She never expected Chen Zheng would actually follow her to Jiangnan. She rembered waiting in the car for a long ti, but Chen Zheng hadn’t chased after her then. Thinking of this, Wei Zixuan’s expression turned cold, and she slowly turned her head away.
Seeing this, Sun Yan imdiately understood. She turned back to Chen Zheng and said coldly, "Chen Zheng, Zixuan has no feelings for you! I hope you can understand your place. A relationship is between two people. If you keep pestering her, you’ll only be hurting her!"
"So, if you truly have her best interests at heart, please leave imdiately!" Sun Yan advised earnestly. "Give each other so space and save yourselves the embarrassnt. Wouldn’t it be better for everyone to live their own lives?"
"Whether she has feelings for or not has nothing to do with you. This is between and Zixuan, and it doesn’t need your interference!" Chen Zheng replied, his gaze chilling.
Sun Yan’s expression changed instantly.
What nerve! How dare this good-for-nothing speak to like that? He’s just a discharged soldier, what right does he have?
"Chen Zheng, don’t you get it yet?" Sun Yan said with absolute certainty. "Zixuan doesn’t like you at all! Why do you keep harassing her? You’ve been married for so many years without so much as a child. I bet she hasn’t even let you touch her! It’s already reached this point; do you really have to debase yourself by clinging to her? Or perhaps... you intend to use legal ans to solve this?"
Hearing this, the nearby Gao Wuchang’s interest was imdiately piqued.
That’s right! They’ve been married for so long without anything happening between them. Could it be that Wei Zixuan... really has never let him touch her?

Chen Zheng’s gaze, which had been on Wei Zixuan the entire ti, finally shifted. He calmly uttered a single word.
"Scram!"

Gao Wuchang’s expression changed, and he instinctively took a step back. "You piece of trash, you’ve gone too far!"
His face darkened as he balled his hand into a fist and smashed it onto a nearby coffee table!
A sharp crack echoed through the café, and a deep groove appeared on the tabletop.
Sun Yan’s jaw dropped in disbelief, but a smile soon spread across her face. "Chen Zheng, you should be able to see the difference between you two now, right? Soone so outstanding is exceptional in everything they do. Our Young Master Gao surpasses you in every single way! You should leave now. Don’t force Young Master Gao to throw you out himself. That would be truly humiliating!"
Even Wei Zixuan couldn’t help but frown. She knew Chen Zheng had so fighting ability, but seeing the groove in the table made her worry.
Gao Wuchang looked completely smug and even let out a soft snort.
"Kid, don’t think I don’t know you’re a discharged soldier. But let tell you, all that stuff you learned in the military is garbage to !" Gao Wuchang said with utter derision. "This is a fist technique passed down in my family, refined by a top master to an unprecedented level! With just a few more years of training, I could beco a master of internal martial arts!"
These were things his uncle, Gao Feng, had personally told him, and now Gao Wuchang used them as his own capital to boast.
"Oh, my apologies, I almost forgot. With your background, you wouldn’t even know what a master of internal martial arts is!"
