Chen Zheng had just returned to his hotel when Yuan Qishan and Gao Feng arrived.

"Mr. Chen, you were a bit too impulsive this ti. Now that you’ve thoroughly offended the Changyun Martial Arts Hall, I’m afraid it will cause a great deal of trouble!" Yuan Qishan’s face was filled with worry.

After all, Chen Zheng had only gotten involved in this whole affair because of him. Now that such a major problem had arisen, he had to take a large share of the responsibility.

"Mr. Yuan, this has nothing to do with you. You don’t need to worry so much," Chen Zheng said reassuringly.

A re Liu Changyun isn’t even worth my ti.

"Master Chen, you mustn’t be careless. Liu Changyun beca a true Master of Internal Arts more than twenty years ago! No one knows what level he has reached by now." Seeing Chen Zheng’s complete lack of concern, Gao Feng shook his head helplessly and gave him a serious warning.

Just as he was about to say more, his phone rang.

Gao Feng had just answered the call when his expression changed drastically. "Gao Feng, soone from your Association dared to chop off my brother’s hands? You’ve got so nerve!"

An angry roar erupted from the other end of the line the mont it connected.

"I advise you to hand over the culprit imdiately! Otherwise, don’t bla for tearing down your Association and wiping you from existence!"

The man on the other end roared again, his voice filled with undisguised anger. Gao Feng’s face paled to an unprecedented degree. Faced with the furious roars, he began to tremble.

The man’s backing is just too powerful! The fa of Jiangnan’s number one Martial Artist certainly isn’t built on bragging. Even though I’m the president of the Association, I’m nothing in front of Liu Changyun.

"It must be his brother, Liu Changyun. Put him on speaker. I’ll talk to him," Chen Zheng said in a low voice.

Gao Feng hesitated for a mont but still switched on the speakerphone.

"Are you the one who chopped off my brother’s hands? I hear you’re just so wet-behind-the-ears kid? You’re really bold!" Liu Changyun’s voice bood with angry questions, clearly not taking Chen Zheng seriously.

He had already heard that his brother, Liu Changhai, had been severely injured before his hands were cut off. Otherwise, with his brother’s skill, how could he possibly have been crippled?

"I’m the one who cut off your brother’s hands. It has nothing to do with President Gao or anyone else, so there’s no need to cause trouble for the Association," Chen Zheng said with utter disdain. "If you have sothing to say, just say it."

"Oh ho... Trying to play the hero, are you?" Liu Changyun scoffed. "Let be clear, kid. Don’t think for a second that I won’t deal with the Association just because you said that. Neither you nor Gao Feng can escape responsibility for this!"

"Gao Feng, we’ll settle this according to the rules of the martial world. The Jiangnan Martial Arts Tournant is next month. Have this kid show up in person!" Liu Changyun stated coldly. "If my Alliance wins, this bastard’s life is mine, and your Association will be dissolved!"

In reality, he had been scheming for a while and was just using Chen Zheng’s incident as an excuse to make a big move. His ultimate goal wasn’t just to deal with Chen Zheng but to eradicate the Association completely.

"Elder Liu..." Gao Feng’s expression was grim. "I’ve been respectful because you are my senior, but you’re going too far! Your brother was the one who had malicious intentions toward Mr. Chen first, yet now you’re pinning all the bla on our Association?"

As a sharp man, he had imdiately seen through Liu Changyun’s little sche, and it infuriated him.

"Gao Feng, you’re a man of your age. How can you still not understand that might makes right?" Liu Changyun said arrogantly over the phone. "Your Association has no one left; you’re destined for elimination. I am rely capitalizing on the situation!" Now that things had reached this point, there was no need to pretend.

"I’ll accept on President Gao’s behalf," Chen Zheng suddenly interjected, proposing a counteroffer. "When the ti cos, I will represent the Association. If I win, your Alliance will be dissolved as well! Do you dare to accept?"

Originally, he had no intention of getting involved, but Liu Changyun was simply too arrogant.

If I don’t teach him a lesson, does he really think he’s invincible? Most importantly, I caused this trouble. It has nothing to do with the Association, so I don’t need them to shoulder the responsibility for .

On the other end of the line, Liu Changyun fell into a long silence.

Where does this guy get the nerve to oppose ?

"Then it’s settled. Your na is Chen Zheng, right?" Liu Changyun finally said. "I’ll rember that na. We’ll et at the Martial Arts Tournant. I hope you rember what you said today!" He let out a cold laugh and hung up.

anwhile, Gao Feng’s expression was filled with worry. "Mr. Chen, this Liu Changyun is incredibly formidable. I’m afraid..."

"I already said I would fight for you. Don’t you believe in ?" Chen Zheng’s brow furrowed slightly. He had already gone to such lengths, yet the man still seed doubtful. This is too much!

"No, no, no..." Gao Feng hurriedly explained, a bitter smile on his face. "Mr. Chen, you might not know this, but the Martial Arts Tournant isn’t just one match. It’s a series of three!"

"Their Alliance has many experts, including several Masters of Internal Arts. As for us..." Gao Feng trailed off. In the entire Association, he was the only one who could be considered a Master of Internal Arts, and now he was half-crippled. How could they possibly win three consecutive matches?

"You don’t need to worry about that," Chen Zheng said, waving his hand dismissively. "Since I’ve chosen to help, I will ensure you win. Don’t concern yourself with anything else."

Gao Feng wanted to say more, but Yuan Qishan spoke up. "President Gao, you’ve seen Mr. Chen’s thods! He offered to help on his own accord. Don’t you trust him? Besides trusting Mr. Chen, do you have a better option?"

Gao Feng certainly understood Yuan Qishan’s point. He nodded bitterly, accepting the reality of the situation.
