Xiao Yi said nothing more, instead elegantly picking up the file folder and taking out a stack of exquisite docunts.

"Take a look. This is the docunt drawn up by Yan Shuiyu’s CEO, Zhuge Xiyu, complete with her signature!" Xiao Yi said, handing the docunts over.

"This is impossible!" Xiao Li let out another earth-shattering roar, his face contorted in fury as he snatched the papers.

He looked closely and was utterly stunned.

The docunt was from Yan Shuiyu and was identical to the one he had prepared. However, what was truly unbelievable was that the profit share for Party B was explicitly stated as a staggering 80%!

"Is... is... is this real?" Xiao Li felt every muscle in his body tremble, and his teeth began to chatter uncontrollably.

"Can’t you tell if it’s real or not at a glance?" Xiao Yi asked.

To tell the truth, he hadn’t yet snapped back to reality himself.

When he had stepped through the doors of Yan Shuiyu at noon, he was imdiately given a warm reception by Zhuge Xiyu. The entire negotiation went incredibly smoothly without a single obstacle. Even more astonishingly, when he proposed a 20% profit share, Zhuge Xiyu agreed to 80% without the slightest hesitation!

He felt as if he were in a dream and had even unconsciously pinched himself right in front of Zhuge Xiyu. The sharp pain was like a bolt of lightning, jolting him from his reverie and making him realize it was all real.

Xiao Li stamred, "This contract is real, but this... it’s simply unbelievable!"

Xiao nghai took the contract. When he saw the words "80% profit," his heart began to pound wildly.

Just then, the crisp ring of a phone broke the silence. Xiao Li snapped out of his daze, quickly pulling his phone from his pocket. He saw it was a call from his old classmate, Sun Yongcai. His heart imdiately began to race as he nervously pressed the answer key.

"Hey, congratulations! Your family actually managed to secure an 80% profit share from Yan Shuiyu! Our contract was vetoed by the CEO today. I’m sure you already know, right?" Sun Yongcai’s excited voice ca from the other end of the line.

Xiao Li stood as if he had been struck by lightning, rooted to the spot. The last of his doubts were shattered by the truth; he now fully believed this incredible fact. He just couldn’t comprehend how his younger brother had managed to pull off such a miracle.

"Oh! I... I know. Thanks, old classmate. I’ll treat you to dinner so other day!" Xiao Li hurriedly responded.

"Alright, I’ll be waiting!"

The call ended.

Xiao Li sank powerlessly onto a stool.

"Grandpa, what do you think? My dad is amazing, isn’t he?" Xiao i’s voice rang out. At that mont, she felt a sense of pride and joy she had never experienced before.

Xiao nghai was lost in thought, the shock rippling through him, leaving him speechless for a long ti. After about half a minute, he slowly put down the contract and passed the family seal to Xiao Yi.

"Second Son, I’m entrusting the Xiao Family to you!"

"Dad! Please rest assured, I will prove worthy of this trust!" Xiao Yi struggled to contain his excitent as he carefully accepted the seal.

"Good! Good!" Xiao nghai repeated, his entire being seeming to beco more weathered in that single instant.

"Heh..." Chen Zheng, who had been watching from the side, couldn’t help but chuckle. This Xiao nghai is quite a character.

An indescribable emotion had taken hold of Xiao Li, and he could no longer focus on the food. He took a few absent-minded bites before leaving the table. At the sa ti, Xiao nghai also finished his al early. Only Xiao Yi’s family remained, enjoying a pleasant dinner with Chen Zheng and Wei Zixuan.

After the al, Xiao Yi walked up to Chen Zheng and said gratefully, "Chen Zheng, this was your doing again, wasn’t it? I really don’t know how to express my thanks!"

Chen Zheng smiled and shook his head. "It was just a trivial matter, Uncle. Please don’t give it a second thought."

Just then, the system’s voice sounded.

[Congratulations to the Host for completing the selection task. You have received the following rewards: Xiao Yi’s Family Goodwill 20. Current Goodwill: 80.]

However, to Chen Zheng, this hidden attribute of goodwill wasn’t particularly important.

"Chen Zheng, Zi Xuan, please co over to our house!" Xiao Yi invited enthusiastically.

"Second Uncle, perhaps another day. I feel like taking a walk; that feast was a bit too rich for ," Wei Zixuan declined politely.

"That’s perfect! Your aunt has so top-quality tea. Why not co try so? It will help you digest," Xiao Yi said generously. "Besides, what Chen Zheng did for is truly comndable, and I don’t know how to repay him. Money must be trivial to him, right? So, I shall wield my brush and gift him a piece of calligraphy as a token of my gratitude," Xiao Yi continued.

Wei Zixuan gave Chen Zheng an awkward smile.

Chen Zheng spoke up helplessly, "Uncle, please, no calligraphy is necessary. We’re all friends here; it was only natural for to help."

"That’s where you’re wrong! Co on, no more talk! This piece of calligraphy of mine is a masterpiece. It will certainly delight you!" Xiao Yi waved his hand dismissively and urged them along.

"Alright then," Chen Zheng agreed reluctantly.

Afterward, they drove to Xiao Yi’s residence. After a short drive, they finally arrived.

Xiao Yi eagerly set up the ink and brush on his desk, ready to begin.

"Zi Xuan, my dad’s always like this. You’ll get used to it," Xiao i said with a helpless sigh. "Chen Zheng, don’t mind him. My dad’s calligraphy is actually quite good! Right, Mom?"

Liu Ya smiled and nodded.

"Chen Zheng, is there a particular character you’d like to write?" Xiao Yi turned and asked.

"Hmm... How about the character for ’sword’?" Chen Zheng said after a mont’s thought.

"Heh... you’ve really given a challenge. The character for ’sword’ can be written in countless ways, each style with its own distinct difficulty. But don’t worry, I am up to the task."

With that, Xiao Yi turned abruptly, drew out his brush, and dipped it in the ink. Then, he closed his eyes, as if searching for a wellspring of inspiration.

A few seconds later, Xiao Yi’s eyes snapped open, a brilliant light flashing within them.

The brush in his hand moved like a dancer across the rice paper, and in an instant, he had sketched a vigorous, powerful character for ’sword’. He blew on it gently, placed the brush back in its holder, and looked at the masterpiece on the desk with satisfaction, his eyes filled with a love for his art.

Wei Zixuan walked over and gently touched the rice paper, exclaiming, "It’s truly stunning!"

Xiao i, however, was less impressed. "It’s the sa every ti."

"If you don’t understand it, keep quiet," Xiao Yi responded, a hint of anger in his voice.

Liu Ya covered her mouth and chuckled lightly. Chen Zheng also ca over to admire the calligraphy and remarked, "Uncle’s calligraphy is truly magnificent. It seems you haven’t been this relaxed in a long ti."

As the old saying goes, handwriting is the best reflection of one’s character.
