"Grandmaster Chen, we apologize for the trouble." Zhuge Haoran lowered his head humbly, his posture full of respect.

Chen Zheng gave a slight nod. His profound gaze lingered on Zhuge Xiyu for a mont before he headed upstairs. Zhuge Xiyu hurriedly followed.

Soon, they arrived at the familiar room.

"Take off your clothes," Chen Zheng’s voice suddenly rang out.

Zhuge Xiyu froze, her eyes widening like two dazzling stars.

Ignoring her, Chen Zheng commanded again, "Take everything off, then lie down."

"Ah! This, this..." Zhuge Xiyu ca to her senses, her cheeks instantly turning as red as the morning glow.

"Do you want the treatnt or not?" Chen Zheng frowned slightly.

In truth, Zhuge Xiyu was quite attractive, but Chen Zheng hadn’t been fond of her from the beginning, and that hadn’t changed. Of course, he wasn’t asking her to undress for any improper reason; it was simply because it would facilitate the treatnt. He had no desire to treat her repeatedly and preferred to resolve the issue in one go.

Hearing his question, Zhuge Xiyu bit her lip. "I do!"

She then began to unfasten her clothes. Zhuge Xiyu’s figure appeared soft and mysterious under the light as her garnts slid gently from her body, coming to rest in Chen Zheng’s view. She lowered her head, the faint blush on her cheeks as delicate as the morning sky.

"Lie down."

Chen Zheng’s voice was low and forceful, yet his gaze was as calm and placid as a lake. This wasn’t due to any great self-discipline on his part, but rather because his impression of Zhuge Xiyu stirred no passion within him.

Obediently, Zhuge Xiyu lay down on the bed and squeezed her eyes shut.

Chen Zheng picked up a bottle of mysterious powder and poured it into a cup of clear water. The water gradually turned a milky, jade-like white.

"Open your mouth," he ordered.

Zhuge Xiyu complied, and the white dicinal liquid flowed into her mouth. She swallowed quickly, feeling a fire ignite inside her, warm and fierce.

It was as though a fla had been kindled within her, a warm surge welling up from the depths like a churning dragon. Her brows furrowed deeply.

Yet Chen Zheng, like a composed healer facing a crisis, calmly took out his silver needles. With a wave of his hand, nine silver needles danced like nine silver dragons, instantly piercing Zhuge Xiyu’s acupoints.

"This heat..."

Sweat beaded on her skin like bamboo shoots after a spring rain. At that mont, the dicinal power flooded her body like a torrent breaking through a dam. Without hesitation, Chen Zheng gently pressed his palm down, and the miraculous power from his Dantian poured into Zhuge Xiyu’s body like a tiger descending a mountain.

The next mont, that power spread through her body like a tidal wave. Then, he withdrew his force slightly. The searing energy, guided by his will, advanced like a disciplined army toward the convergence point of the icy energy within Zhuge Xiyu’s body.

The two forces clashed within her.

BOOM.

Zhuge Xiyu’s body trembled as both powers exploded simultaneously, like a fiery detonation. Her cries were faint and weak as intense pain washed over her in waves, causing her brows to knit tightly together.

Chen Zheng’s gaze lingered on her face for a mont before shifting away. As long as she remained quiet, he didn’t mind. He then increased his power output.

The searing energy condensed from the dicine erupted like a volcano, completely engulfing the icy power. In response, the icy power transford into a raging beast and began wreaking havoc.

Zhuge Xiyu’s pain grew more intense. Sweat drenched the bedding beneath her like a fine rain, and her face beca as pale as snow. However, Chen Zheng continued relentlessly, the energy from his Dantian pouring out like a violent storm.

As the icy force lashed out within Zhuge Xiyu’s body, the searing energy gradually dissipated. Finally, just as the searing energy was about to be exhausted, Chen Zheng forced the last of the icy power to a layer just beneath her skin.

"HAH!"

Chen Zheng gave a low shout, dividing his power to guide all the icy energy toward the nine major acupoints. He reached out and drew his hand back, and the icy force flowed out of her body along the silver needles.

The temperature in the air plumted as if winter had suddenly arrived. Before Chen Zheng’s eyes, the silver needles froze solid, and a bone-deep chill perated the room.

After several minutes, Zhuge Xiyu felt the coldness in her body gradually fade away, and her furrowed brow relaxed. She slowly opened her eyes, a light of relief twinkling within them.

Chen Zheng gently waved his hand. The silver needles flew up on their own and settled quietly into the needle pouch.

Having finished, Chen Zheng turned and left the room.

Zhuge Xiyu wanted to thank him, but the words caught in her throat, her heart filled with regret.

Ding! Congratulations to the host for making a choice. You have received the following reward: the Grandmaster ability, Water Coagulating into Ice.

Chen Zheng didn’t imdiately test his new skill, instead walking down the stairs.

"Grandmaster Chen, how is she?" Zhuge Haoran rushed forward, his face etched with anxiety.

"There are no more problems. Just focus on her recuperation from now on," Chen Zheng replied.

"Thank you! I, Zhuge Haoran, will forever rember your great kindness!" Zhuge Haoran imdiately dropped to his knees. Gongsun Yun did the sa beside him.

Chen Zheng accepted their obeisance, his gaze as deep and unreadable as an abyss. "When she cos down, you can leave." His voice was like cold spring water, clear and stern. After speaking, he sat down on the sofa, as immovable as a mountain.

A flicker of disappointnt, like an extinguished fla, passed through Zhuge Haoran and Gongsun Yun’s eyes.

Zhuge Haoran gritted his teeth and said, "Grandmaster, we will rember this great kindness. If you ever need in the future, I will not hesitate to answer your call."

Chen Zheng waved his hand dismissively, as if sweeping away a fallen leaf, but offered no reply.

Sighing inwardly, Zhuge Haoran could only take Gongsun Yun’s hand as they stood up together.

Just then, Zhuge Xiyu ca downstairs, fully dressed.

"Child, how do you feel?" Gongsun Yun imdiately went to her.

"Mom, I feel wonderful. It’s a sense of peace and comfort I’ve never felt before!" Zhuge Xiyu looked at Chen Zheng, her face flushing slightly, but then her eyes were once again filled with a sense of loss.

"That’s great!" Gongsun Yun happily held Zhuge Xiyu’s hand.

Recently, their hearts had been weighed down as if by a heavy stone. Only at this mont did they feel a sense of relief.

"Grandmaster, we’ll take our leave now." Zhuge Haoran bowed slightly to Chen Zheng in a respectful farewell.

His gaze t with Gongsun Yun and her daughter’s. Then, the family turned and departed, disappearing from view. Chen Zheng didn’t respond, rely standing there quietly as if lost in thought.

Zhuge Haoran and Gongsun Yun exchanged a look, their eyes holding a mixture of helplessness and regret.
