Selene gave a small nod, her face still hidden.Alex smiled gently. "That’s good. Just take a mont to calm down. We’ll keep climbing when you’re ready."

His heartbeat... it’s so calm, Selene thought. His warmth... it feels so good. I don’t want to let go.

Her own heartbeat slowly began to steady, syncing with his. Her breathing eased.

She looked up at him—at his chiselled features, his athyst eyes, his ssy white hair tousled by the wind.

In that mont, she forgot about everything else.

Alex looked down and t her pale blue gaze. A whisper escaped him, instinctive and sincere—"Your eyes are beautiful."

Selene’s lips curled into a soft smile.Alex blinked, stunned by the sudden sparkle in her eyes. "Wow," he breathed.

Her blush deepened. From above ca Hans’s voice, loud and teasing:"Eh! Lovebirds! Let’s move, eh?"

The mont shattered like thin ice.Selene quickly stepped back, flustered but smiling.

Alex reached out and took her hand in his again, steady and reassuring."Let’s go," he said. "Don’t worry—just keep climbing. If you slip again, I’ll catch you."

Selene’s smile returned, brighter this ti.

While the others climbed, Hati—ever silent and loyal—followed their lead without complaint, his quiet steps leaving faint prints in the snow.

On the other side of the mountain...

In a vast, frozen field stretching from the mountain’s smooth base, more than a thousand monsters stood silently, as if attending a sacred sermon.

To the left stood hundreds of Frost Bears, each one massive and fearso. Their thick white fur bristled with icy spikes jutting from their backs, and a swirling blue aura coiled around them like mist. Their blood-red eyes glead, and sharp fangs jutted from jaws that released frost with every breath. Thin lines of jagged ice ran from the edges of their snouts to just below their eyes—etched like frozen war paint.

Beside them lood an even deadlier breed—Frost Tooth.

Agile as panthers, cunning as foxes, these elite beasts bore black markings on their white fur. Their long upper fangs extended below their chins, and crystal-blue horn more than ten inches long—rose from their brows like deadly spear, shimring with frost and raw elental power. Their glowing blue pupils reflected rciless intelligence.

But even these were outnumbered—

To the right stood an imnse gathering of Yeti monsters, towering over the rest. They balanced on powerful hind legs, white fur glowing faintly with an icy aura. Their claws—long, black, and razor-sharp—glead under the grey sky.

Thousands of eyes were fixated on a hill-platform jutting from the mountain like a frozen altar. At its base, carved into the stone, yawned a dark cave mouth. And from that darkness—sothing erged.

First, a pale white foot, wrapped in sleek black skin from heel to shin, stepped into the light. Another followed—graceful, powerful, human in shape but impossibly perfect. Muscles rippled under the thin, form-fitting black skin.

Then ca her thighs, her hips—wide and sensuous—her sculpted abdon and navel. The black suit ended in sharp contrast, giving way to pale skin and a deep, defined cleavage, the sleek material parting at the chest for breathability... or perhaps intimidation.

Her face erged—a haunting beauty.Pale white, almost porcelain-like. Long, flowing white hair frad her features, with snow-white lashes and glowing golden eyes shaped like a dragon’s—slitted.

Two jet-black horns, curved slightly back, jutted from her forehead—five inches long, smooth and deadly.Behind her, mbranous black wings unfurled like a bat’s, their structure strong, elegant, and dangerous. A sleek, black dragon tail followed—spine-lined, ending in a heart-shaped tip that looked both elegant and lethal.

She walked with slow, deliberate steps toward the edge of the platform.Below her, thousands of monsters dropped to their knees. Even the ferocious Yetis bowed their heads. Her aura pressed down on them like a mountain of power—overwhelming, divine, terrifying.

She stopped at the cliff’s edge and looked down at her army.A devilish smile curled her lips.

"Let’s have a feast," she said—her voice smooth as silk and sharp as blades.

And just like that—her suffocating aura vanished.

The monsters roared, howled, and growled—.

Nerzalia stood high above and looked at the bowing monsters. The Yeti, Frost Tooth, and Frost Bears—the ferocious monsters of this zone—were bowing in front of her.

She smiled, her sharp teeth ruining her devilish beauty.

Nerzalia had the blood of a true Dark Dragon, the mythical creature who used to live alone in the era of mythical creatures before vanishing completely.

She was the only one on Earth who had the blood of a Dark Dragon, but she was not respected by most monsters.

She had been living for more than five hundred years, but she had never attacked humans. She knew in her heart, in her blood, that her ancestor didn’t like to attack humans.

But today, she was changing. She wanted to be respected by other dragons and other monsters in the hierarchy of higher-ranked monsters. She was also curious—how humans taste.

On the other side of the mountain, a little earlier...

Hans and Hook were climbing alongside each other.A short distance behind them, Selene and Alex followed, with Hati below them.

Slowly, they reached a foothold that led to the other side of the mountain.Hans and Hook collapsed onto the unusually smooth surface, panting with heavy breaths.

Selene and Alex arrived monts later and sat near them, followed by Hati. All of them panted—except for Hati, who remained silent and alert.

After a brief rest, Hans and Hook stood up and moved to the other side of the mountain through the smooth foothold that acted like a path.As they stepped forward, they froze.

Below them, near the base of the mountain, stood thousands of monsters. They stood still, silent, staring toward a raised platform that jutted out from the mountainside.

Hans and Hook shivered and instinctively backed away, pressing their backs to the mountain wall.

Alex and Selene looked at them in confusion and asked,"What happened?"

But no sound escaped from their mouths.

Curious, Alex and Selene stepped forward. They saw the sa scene—and a shiver ran down Selene’s spine. She instinctively grabbed Alex’s hand and backed away, pressing herself against the mountain wall.

Alex followed her, eyes wide.He whispered,"What’s going on here...?"

Then it ca.The growls. And the roar.

ROAAARRRR!

Selene tightened her grip on Alex’s hand, shut her eyes, and pressed against the mountain, trying to disappear.Hans and Hook did the sa.

But Alex didn’t panic. He waited as the roar faded and the air cald slightly.

Then, carefully, he bent down and peeked over the edge.At that exact mont, Nerzalia’s head turned.Their eyes t.

She froze.Alex’s heart pounded violently. He pulled back, breath shaking, and whispered,

"Run."

Selene opened her eyes, confused.Alex growled louder this ti,"Run! Run! There’s a humanoid monster!"

All of their eyes widened.Hans and Hook instantly began sliding down the mountain, using their powers.

Alex grabbed Selene by the waist, lifting her."Close your eyes," he whispered.

Selene obeyed without hesitation, completely trusting him.

Alex looked at Hati and gave a quick nod.Hati stepped in close.

A flash of purple light surrounded them—and in the next instant, they vanished, teleported to the base of the mountain.
