Lucas glanced at him with a mirthless smile. “Rayson Williams, you’re the helmsman of one of the eight top families of DC. Is there a need for you to be so stingy? I’m only borrowing 150 people from you. Why are you asking so many questions? Are you afraid that I won’t return them to you? Or are you simply unwilling to lend them to ?
“If you really don’t want to lend them to , just say so. I won’t force you against your wishes. Why do you have to act so stingy?”
