Chapter 94: Chen Shu’s Sentint (2)
“Chen Shu, I like you.”
In the chaos, Chen Shu fiercely opened his eyes.
His blurred vision gradually beca clear. Above his head was a white ceiling, which seed to be surrounded by countless white rays.
Waking up, a thirsty and sore feeling filled his whole body, making it scream in pain. But Chen Shu didn’t care about himself. He supported himself and sat up.
What about Ye Sui? How was she now?
Chen Shu looked around and failed to find that familiar figure. His chest tightened, and his heart ached.
Dai Zhi, standing outside the ward waiting, saw Chen Shu through the glass window. He hurried towards him and was about to speak, but he imdiately understood Chen Shu’s idea.
“Ye Sui is still in the ergency room. She may need surgery.” Dai Zhi frowned. “I’ve contacted her mother and will send soone to get her here.”
There weren’t too many wounds on Chen Shu’s body, and he was only temporarily unconscious.
Ye Sui was given a preliminary check-up just now. When Chen Shu woke up, her check-up had just been completed, and the doctor had to do an operation.
Chen Shu imdiately got out of the bed. “Where is the ergency room?”
“Chen Shu, the doctor said you should take a good rest.” Dai Zhi’s tone was concerned. “Wang Chuan is staying in the ergency room.”
Chen Shu seed to have heard nothing as he walked out of the ward without looking back.
Dai Zhi quickly followed. When the two of them reached the door of the ergency room, they saw the doctor talking to Wang Chuan.
The doctor, wearing a white coat and a mask, ca out, his brow furrowed. “We must have the signature of Ye Sui’s imdiate family mber to perform the operation.”
Wang Chuan was shocked. Although they had contacted Ye Sui’s family, her mother could not co to the hospital on such short notice. What should they do now?
The doctor continued, “Is Ye Sui’s family here?”
Wang Chuan shook his head, sighed, and was about to open his mouth when a familiar voice suddenly sounded from behind him.
“I am here.” The voice was clear in the empty, silent hallway.
Wang Chuan was stunned. He turned around and saw the already awakened Chen Shu standing there. Wang Chuan let out a sigh of relief. “President, you’ve finally woken up.”
Chen Shu looked at the doctor, and his clear voice fell, “I am Ye Sui’s husband.”
The doctor’s frown eased a bit, and he beckoned to Chen Shu, “Co in with and sign the form.”
Chen Shu followed the doctor into the office, leaving Wang Chuan and Dai Zhi outside. They finally ca to their senses and looked at each other with wide eyes.
Wang Chuan was in disbelief. “Did you hear clearly just now?”
Dai Zhi nodded. “There is no problem with your ears. I also heard that Chen Shu and Ye Sui are married.”
Therefore, who lay in the ergency room was not only the most famous artist of Huarui but also the lady boss of Huarui.
If this incident was leaked, it would cause a sensation. They must contact the doctors and nurses present to ensure that the matter will not be known to the outside world.
Ye Sui and Chen Shu must be kept away from public interference during their rehabilitation.
Chen Shu walked out of the doctor’s office; however, Wang Chuan and Dai Zhi asked nothing. They just accompanied him and sat at the door of the operation room together.
Ti passed by minutes and seconds. He didn’t know how long he had waited for, but the door of the room still hadn’t opened.
Outside the operating room, Chen Shu waited anxiously. He wore a thin patient’s robe, and it was also late at night. Gusts of the cold air would pass through the corridor occasionally.
Wang Chuan brought a coat to Chen Shu. “President, don’t tire your body.”
His next sentence was that Ye Sui would be fine.
Wang Chuan wanted to say, but he stopped. At a mont like now, any comfort to Chen Shu was just a reminder of the fact that Ye Sui was seriously injured.
Yan Lan was having dinner with her neighbors when she received the phone call. Ye Sui couldn’t go ho often, so she sotis invited her neighbors to co and chat.
Yan Lan didn’t worry about food and clothes anymore. She could not fully spend the money Ye Sui gave her. Every ti Yan Lan told her not to send money, Ye Sui would say that it was the last ti.
Although she complained a few tis, she knew it was Ye Sui’s concern. Besides, Ye Sui would co to see her with Chen Shu whenever she was free. Not having anything to worry about, she looked much younger now.
“You have a good life. Your daughter is so dutiful to you,” The neighbor said enviously.
Yan Lan smiled and nodded repeatedly. Before she finished her dinner, her phone suddenly rang.
Yan Lan took a glance at the caller ID and spoke with a smile, “Xiao Liu, what’s the matter?”
