Chapter 888: Panagea(1)
When the light returned to Aakesh's eyes, he found himself standing in front of a space crack. When Aakesh stepped through it, he returned to the selection area.
There was still so ti left before Lily's training with the Epochal Felines ca to an end, so Aakesh decided to go for another training session.
Ti flew by, and minutes passed in the blink of an eye.
The silence inside the selection area broke as a space crack erged out of nowhere.
Soon after, Lily stepped out of it. She first looked at the usual seating spot. When she didn't find Aakesh, she asked the system to summon the chairs.
More ti flew by, and Aakesh stepped out of the space crack after completing the training.
As it had been a tradition, Aakesh went to the chair and sat on it. The duo then began sharing their experiences with each other. The majority of the ti went to Lily since she still hadn't gotten over the wolf's death.
As their conversation ca to an end, the duo disappeared from the selection area and appeared in the store's hall. Lily summoned the door and then left not long after for Panagea.
After Lily left, Aakesh's face turned expressionless as usual, and he then proceeded toward the portal room.
Since there was no rank board currently present for Panagea's adventurer due to their lack of number, only an empty wall welcod Aakesh's sight.
Aakesh then touched the nearest portal using the tip of his finger. The next mont, a suction force stronger than he could fight against appeared and sucked him inside to a different world.
When the light returned to Aakesh's eyes, he found himself in the safe spot he had chosen for himself before departing Panagea yesterday.
Roar!
What Aakesh had expected to be a safe place didn't turn out to be one, as when he suddenly appeared here, his movents alerted the beast sleeping next to him.
Aakesh looked at the beast, and it was the Wood Leopard. Its level was below Level 290, so Aakesh ignored the beast and left the area, proceeding his journey toward Lily's territory.
The Wood Leopard heaved a sigh of relief after Aakesh left, as it could sense the overwhelming power from the other party. It then looked at the safe spot for a few seconds and then, without wasting any ti, left in a different direction than Aakesh. It was fortunate that Aakesh didn't kill it, but the sa wouldn't be the case for every higher-level creature. It needed to find an even more secure place to rest.
Unaware of the leopard's actions, Aakesh crossed a distance of a few hundred miles in those few seconds.
After traveling several thousand miles, Aakesh's journey ca to a stop. He sensed life signatures not very far from him.
The sa was the case for the other party, as not long after Aakesh stopped, a group of beasts surrounded Aakesh.
It was a group of Green Lizards. Each of them was almost double in size when compared to Aakesh.
There were about thirty Lizards in the group, with levels ranging from 280 to 300.
Only the leader of the group was at Level 300, while the others were below that.
Aakesh didn't fear Level 300 anymore. In fact, he welcod them. Aakesh was only slightly away from another level up, so the more Level 300 creatures that ca across him, the better for him.
Aakesh soon unsheathed the sword from its sheath, tied on his back, and charged at the Level 300 Lizard.
Roar!
The leader roared and ordered all its followers to pounce on Aakesh, while it also lunged back at him, with its claws having nails sharper than swords.
Clang!
As the sword collided with the lizard's nails, a tallic sound rang out, but soon the sound of roaring in pain drowned out the tallic sound.
The sword in Aakesh's hand cut through the leader's sharp claws as if it were nothing but a weak piece of paper.
Aakesh's swords didn't stop right away and continued toward the creature's heart, ignoring the other lizard's pounce.
The leader felt fear for the first ti in its life as it saw the sword approaching its heart. It wanted to escape from the area, but when it tried, a hand shorter than its hand suddenly ca across its head and stopped its montum.
As Aakesh forced the Level 300 lizard to a fixed spot, his sword easily went through the creature's heart. The leader coughed up green blood, but it was still alive, as its species could survive for hours even without a heart.
Aakesh then finally focused on the underlings, who seed only one step away from tearing him into pieces.
Aakesh's eyes remained cold as the sword in his hands showed its dance to the world. With every slash and swing, a body part flew into the air.
In no ti, a gory scene covered a range of several hundred ters around Aakesh, as the already green ground had turned greener from the mucus-like green blood.
The leader had already lost its will to escape or live after seeing the cruel slaughter of its underlings, so when Aakesh approached it, it had a relieved expression in his eyes.
It didn't feel hatred toward Aakesh since this was the law of the world. If Aakesh were the weaker party, the ground would have turned blue instead of green.
The mory of its birth passed through the creature's head at that mont, and soon after, the world around it turned dark after Aakesh cut its head and split it into two.
The Green Lizards were known for their tenacious vitality, so Aakesh had no choice but to split the creature into two.
Aakesh seed to have no reaction to the gory scene caused by him since it wasn't the first, and it wasn't going to be the last.
The next mont, a wave of comfortable energy spread across his body as his XP grew, and he reached even closer to the level-up.
As Aakesh's habit was, he didn't even look at the scene caused by him and continued forward, hoping to get a few more Level 300 beasts so that he could level up before he returned to the store for ditation.
