Chapter 87: Difficulty of the Quest
Aakesh woke up the next day on ti. Since he didn't take Lily with him yesterday, she was still in the jungle around Wolfden.
He stood up from his bed, took a bath to freshen himself, and after that went downstairs to the store. He went to open the store door right away and found a group of people standing at the door with big smiles on their faces. Aakesh recognized everybody. They were Mark, Bislo, Bisal, and Maria was also standing there so distance from the group of three.
"Hello, senior!" All four said simultaneously, resulting in laughter erupting from all four.
Aakesh only nodded at their greeting and returned to his comfortable chair. All four people followed him inside the store.
"Senior, six hours in Samsara Samraat for three of us!" Bislo said right away as he couldn't wait to enter the world of Panagea. He also took out 600 inferior Primal stones as the paynt.
"Senior! Six hours for too!" Maria chid in, taking out her share of 200 inferior Primal stones.
Aakesh nodded and waved his hands. The Primal stones in the store disappeared.
"What town are you in?" Bisal suddenly asked Maria after she too wanted to enter Panagea.
Maria didn't answer and ignored him. "We're in the town Gandoline, the town of Elves!" Bisal didn't mind her ignoring him, so he told her the na of his town.
"Let's go!" Bislo dragged Bisal to the portal room, seeing him standing and trying to talk to the girl.
When they reached the room, they found one of the portals white, so Marl rushed outside and called Aakesh. "Senior, there's an issue with one of the portals!" Mark shouted.
"Don't mind it! You can enter your portals," Aakesh expressionlessly responded. He knew what portal Mark was talking about. Since Lily had entered Panagea and hadn't co out, no one would be allowed entry through that portal.
Mark returned to the room and entered the virtual portal, following Bislo and Bisal. Maria also went into the last virtual portal, making all the portals turn white.
"Hey, system, you should give extra portals for Lily and ?" Aakesh requested the system as all the five virtual portals had already gotten to use, and the store wouldn't earn anything from one of them, and he wasn't going to call Lily right now.
[Host, you can get one extra portal in your room, but not two.]
The system responded in its chanical and emotionless voice. "Okay, put the portal which Lily had entered into my room," Aakesh responded, as he had decided to only enter after the store closing ti.
The next mont, a white light passed in the portal room as one of the white portals disappeared, and instead of it, a new virtual portal showing the movent of the cluster of stars appeared.
Aakesh didn't have to see it in the person as the system inford him about it. He nodded and then thought of the quest screen, and the quest screen appeared in front of him.
[Mission Objective: Have twenty players enter the virtual portal,
Requirent: Since the first player has already joined the world of Panagea, it's ti for you to make other players enter the world. Twenty players would be the start for countless players coming in the store to use the virtual portal,
Number of custors left: 19/20,
Days required: 6 days,
Mission reward: Ten more virtual portals,
Failure punishnt: Decrease in the number of virtual portals by one.]
"19 new custors in six days," Aakesh murmured after seeing the quest screen. He then wished for the window to disappear, and it disappeared.
In contrast to his previous quest, where he only needed to sell ten pills, here he needed twenty custors rather than twenty sales, which made the mission tough for him.
The store had a daily runti of more than 15 hours, and he could only have 15 custors if the two pairs of custors chose a full six-hour service. He needed to cut the ga rundown ti as it would be impossible for him to complete the quest otherwise since many custors would repeat the sales every day.
"Hey, system, you should cut the rundown ti of the portal from six hours," He then suggested to the system.
[No, Host. It's up to you to complete the quest. I wouldn't do anything.]
The system refused right away. "Fine!" Aakesh expressionlessly responded. He then closed his eyes and rested while waiting for other custors to co.
Only an hour has passed after the group of Bislo, Bisal, and Mark entered the world of Panagea. They and Maria had already revived half a dozen tis in the past hour.
While Aakesh was resting, he heard the sound of footsteps and opened his eyes. He saw a familiar figure standing at the door. It was none other than Pento, the youngest prince of the Kingdom.
"Greetings, senior!" Pento greeted Aakesh with a slight bow when he saw him looking at him. Aakesh only nodded in response to his greetings.
"Senior, I heard from my grandfather that you saw the death of my father," Pento comnted after entering the store.
"Yes, I saw it," Aakesh expressionlessly responded.
"So, senior, can you put your weight behind in the fight for the throne?" Pento asked right away as he didn't want to lie to Aakesh for the reason of coming here.
Punta had announced that the ti for a new king to take the seat had co as he had no interest in ruling the Bisan Kingdom anymore, so Pento ca here asking for Aakesh to support him in his fight for the throne.
If Aakesh helped him, he would not beco king in only one case where Punta refused to accept him as the king, but it would never happen, so he was sure to beco the third king of the Bisan Kingdom with the support of Aakesh. Pento nervously looked at Aakesh, waiting for his answer.
"No! I've no interest in involving myself in the petty ga of thrones!" Aakesh flatly refused, resulting in a disappointing expression appearing on Pento's face.
Pento wanted to speak sothing when suddenly a group of three people out of nowhere appeared in the store.. He recognized two of the mbers in the group as Bislo was the head of a significant association of the Kingdom, and Bisal was his son.
