Chapter 832: A New Day for the Store(2)

While the father was cursing his useless son for not even having enough empathy to check on his mother, he suddenly heard a round of footsteps coming from outside.
The father's face turned calm as he communicated with the guards to let the people inside.
The guard couldn't see what people their master was talking about, but since they were only Divine Transformation, it was expected that they wouldn't be able to see as far as their masters.
Not long after, the guard noticed a group of people approaching the residence.
The guard understood these must be the people his master ntioned, so he respectfully opened the gate and told them to enter.
There were seven people in the group. If Aakesh or Favan were here, he would have recognized the six of them. These six were the sa generals that were on the scene when Aakesh rampaged.
As for the seventh, the man was almost twice the size of Frederick. The thorn pattern between his brows was the darkest in the seven of them. There was an aura of majesty around the man as he stepped. The man was none other than Frederick's Divine Lord elder.
Since Frederick was the only one who had connections with a Divine Lord cultivator, the other generals depended upon him to ask for help.
Frederick also knew what was at stake here, so he imdiately contacted his elder and shared everything that happened there with him.
When the elder learned about the non-demon asking for compensation from Garoun's father, he comnded Aakesh thrice.
The elder didn't like Garoun's father since he was one of the Thorrons who chased Garoun's mother before she had gotten married to Garoun's father. She was one of the most beautiful Thorrons in the city.
As Frederick's elder was approaching closer to the garden, a beaming smile was spread across his face.
The generals, on the other hand, were terrified since the fourth general knew about the enmity between Frederick's elder and Garoun's father. If they knew it earlier, they would have never tried to ask Frederick for help. Instead, they would have quit and left the city. Frederick felt the sa. He prayed in his heart that his elder wouldn't try to make fun of Garoun's father here, or the situation would beco troubleso for him.
Nothing would happen to the elder since there wasn't much power difference between him and Garoun's father. But the sa wasn't the case for the generals.
Even the fourth general, who was on the threshold of achieving the Divine Lord cultivation, was nothing but a slightly more powerful bug in front of Garoun's father.
While praying in their hearts that the situation would go as they wanted, they reached the garden.
The generals stopped since Garoun's father didn't welco them, while Frederick's elder casually stepped into the garden.
"How is Elera?"
For the first ti, Frederick's elder face turned grave as he asked. The elder already had a harem of several wives, but he still couldn't forget Elera, Garoun's mother.
"Sa as usual," The father replied out of habit.
"Garos, my offer still stands," The elder added, his face still maintaining a grave expression.
Garos, Garoun's father, only scoffed in response to the elder. If not for the elder's background, he would have long tried to kill him.
The grave expression on the elder's face suddenly turned into a beaming smile, creating a bad feeling in Garos's heart.
"Have you talked to Garoun these days?" The elder asked with a broad smile plastered on his face.
The feeling got intense as Garos heard the question.
"What do you an by it, Sergen?" Garos asked in an unfriendly tone.
At the sa ti, Garos tried to contact his son, whom he hadn't talked to in the past several days.
His heart sank when he failed to contact his son. His eyes turned ferocious as he looked at Sergen.
"I apologize! I have bad news for you. Garoun is no longer alive in this world!"
With the sa broad smile, Sergen announced.
Garos felt thunder exploding in his head as he couldn't help but take a step backward to stabilize himself.
The generals standing at the edge of the garden's entry had frightened faces as the worst happened. They couldn't overhear the conversation, but seeing the expressions of both parties, things seed to be going south.
"Do you want to know who is the killer?"
Sergen asked Garos with the sa wide smile, not giving him enough ti to process the tragic news.
Garos felt irritated and angry at Sergen. He wanted to break those teeth of his, but he controlled himself.
Garos was already going through a terrible situation due to his wife's illness. He didn't want to do sothing in anger that would further harm Elera.
Garos stared at Sergen with calm anger in his eyes, and Sergen got his answer.
"On the seventeenth street, a non-demon had recently bought a piece of land. He had opened so store on that land."
"Your son tried to plot against the store since he didn't like the man."
"Haha, he attempted to bite more than he could chew. The non-demon killed him for acting against the store."
"Haha, you know the funny thing, the non-demon was only an early Divine Transformation, yet he killed your son," Sergen told Garos what he had learned from Frederick. While telling the story, he couldn't help but laugh.
Garos felt his whole body shaking in anger. The more he listened, the angrier he beca.
"HOW DARE YOU?" In the end, Garos finally exploded and charged toward Sergen.
Sergen seed to ignore Garos' charge. When Garos was only an inch away from Sergen, a transparent barrier appeared around Sergen.
Garos, who was on the verge of hitting Sergen, took his punch back at the last mont. Garos was horrified as the transparent barrier around Sergen gave him a feeling of suffocation.
Sergen's eyes turned disappointed as he wanted Garos to hit him. Being from a large background had both benefits as well as disadvantages.
Since Garos was one of the Divine Lords in the good books of the city lord, Sergen couldn't act on him before Garos did, or he would have to answer to the city lord.
