Chapter 783: Bet(1)
Gurgle gurgle gurgle!
Blood gurgled out like a fountain as an arrow created a see-through hole in William’s throat.
It wasn’t an injury that could take William’s life away, but it was still an injury that would force him toward another horrific end.
William grabbed his throat and crashed to the ground as another arrow ca flying at him and hit the area right above his heart.
William had no idea whether the shot was intentional or he had sohow dodged the arrow to his heart. But he knew one thing; if William didn’t do anything, death wasn’t very far from him.
Dying in the training area was nothing serious since it wasn’t permanent, but it didn’t an that William would stop trying to survive.
William’s eyes turned red as he ignored the coming projectile and took a shot.
Puchi!
The arrow pierced through his right eye, resulting in a scream ringing in the area.
The scream had engulfed the sound of the arrow tearing through the air as it flew toward the opponent.
The opponent Sun Elf had already expected William to attempt this kind of tactic, so he was already ready for the attack.
The opponent skillfully moved to his right when the arrow passed through the spot where once his shoulder should have been.
William’s visibility was low due to the sandstorm, but his senses were working. The scene of the opponent dodging his arrow clearly appeared in his mind, while a shot also neared him at the mont.
William decided to give himself a last chance in the battle as he ignored the shot coming at his heart. He instead cald his mind down and stretched the bowstring while the bow aid at the sky.
Puchi!
Since there was no dodging or obstruction in the arrow’s way, it effortlessly pierced through William’s heart. William lost consciousness the next mont since it was instant death.
His fingers beca loose as the string got released from his hold.
Whoosh!
The arrow moved toward the sky like an electric bolt.
When it had reached its peak, the arrowhead suddenly lightened up.
Whistle whistle whistle!
Whistling sounds rang in the area as the arrowhead released one light beam after another randomly.
A light shower erged in the area as they randomly flew around.
The opponent’s face turned solemn as a beam ca his way. The beams were even quicker than the speed of light, so before the opponent could even take shots, they were already there to hit him.
The opponent had no choice but to take the direct hit.
Puchi!
The light beam pierced through his left hand as if it was going through butter. Not long after, another light beam arrived.
The opponent wasn’t going to let him get engulfed in this strike and lose an already won battle.
Ignoring the coming onslaught of tens of light beams, the opponent took a shot at the lightning arrowhead in the sky.
Puchi puch-
BOOM!
The light beams continued to pierce through the opponent’s body when a loud explosion suddenly rang in the area, engulfing the piercing sound.
The sandstorm cleared up as the arrowhead in the sky disintegrated into nothing. The opponent then took a last look at the dead William on the ground when a blue light engulfed the entire battlefield, including William and the opponent.
In earlier phases of the training area, there were instant kills. But as the level of the opponent grew, the killing would depend on them. Torture was possible with the high level of opponents.
The next mont, William regained his consciousness and found himself back in the initial empty space with the choices in his mind.
William didn’t need to think since the bet depended on who won the most battle in the training area when the opponent was the Sun Elf.
Both William and Elle had defeated four levels of the Sun Elf opponent in the Gods & Demons level difficulty.
It ant they had only won four battles in the past several centuries. So there had only been four tis soone had won the bet. William and Elle both had won the gamble twice, so whoever would win the next battle would get the lead before leaving the store.
As for the situation where none of them won the battle, they had already taken that into consideration as well.
Today was the last ti they would enter the training area in the Primal dinsion. Even if not one of them won the battle inside the training area, the person with the least number of deaths would beco the winner and would take the lead as three tis winner.
William made his choices the sa as the last ti, and the next mont, he found himself in a different environnt.
Both William and his opponent had appeared in the air with the ground in no sight. William had no problem flying since he could fly, but neither the challenger nor his opponent was capable of flying in the respective environnt. While battling, both of them would be sinking at an unimaginable rate.
While dropping with no ground in sight, both opponents would have to battle.
Ti flew by, and several hours had passed in the challenge.
William had been unable to win a single battle up to this point. The closest he ca to victory was in the three-hundredth fight.
In that battle, William had successfully forced the opponent to a dead end, but at the sa ti, his situation was also no good.
In the end, the opponent got the better of him and won the battle instead of him.
While William was struggling to win, Elle’s condition was also no good.
William was the winner of the last bet, so William had more ti to accommodate himself with the fourth Sun Elf.

It had only been a few training sessions since Elle won against the third Sun Elf. She still hadn’t been able to do much against her opponent.
The most positive result in the last several hours of training for her was to take the battle where she had successfully unleashed a severe injury on the opponent’s body.
The bet was only there for fun, but none of them wanted to lose, so they gave their best in every battle as ti continued to fly.
