The weapon in Aakesh’s hands was the sword, the only weapon with which Aakesh had won the sixteenth round of battle.
The next mont, the familiar blue screen popped out in front of him with the usual options.
As usual, Aakesh chose to start the first round. Not long after, Aakesh sensed a killing intent aiming at him.
Aakesh turned around, and the full view of Aakesh’s opponent for the day presented itself.
The being Aakesh was going to fight belonged to a race predominantly living in the Sacred dinsion.
The creature belonged to the race Divine Ligator, a mber of the beast group.
The Divine Ligator had six pairs of feet, matching the three pairs of eyes. The creature walked on all its claw-like twelve feet. It silently looked at Aakesh and released killing intent.
The Divine Ligators loved to battle and kill. As soon as the bell rang and announced the start of the first round, it made its move.
Unfortunately, its battle instinct didn’t help it as only halfway, and it lost consciousness.
If the Divine Ligator were still alive, it would have seen two vertical pieces of its large body lying in a pool of blood while its opponent not even looking at it.
Ti doesn’t slow for anyone, so in only the blink of an eye, several minutes had passed.

The sound of successive tallic clashes rang in the area as Aakesh’s sword and the Ligator’s claws clashed with each other.
The sound didn’t persist for a while since the Ligator was only able to handle three clashes at most with Aakesh’s sword with each foot. After around forty clashes, seven claws-like feet were lying on the ground, while the Divine Ligator was angrily rushing at Aakesh to charge one last ti.
Aakesh had a calm face as he vertically slashed his sword.
The next mont, a wave of white light flew at the charging Divine Ligator with an unimaginable speed.
The Divine Ligator could feel its death approaching, but it had lost its sanity in pain from the nurous injuries spread across its body, so it angrily roared and further increased its speed.
The efforts by the Divine Ligator were for naught, as when the white light flew past the Ligator, it had lost its consciousness. A similar scene repeated itself as two pieces of Divine Ligator lay on both sides while the stage was still shaking from the crash.
The next mont, a green light engulfed Aakesh and healed whatever injury he had.
With the Ligator’s death, Aakesh won the fifteenth battle for the day.

The sixteenth round of battle finally began as the familiar sound of the bell rang in the area.
Aakesh had earlier won the sixteenth battle when he had the sword, and he had failed to replicate the win after that, so Aakesh grew serious right from the start.
