Chapter 667: Sudden Situation!
Aakesh and Lily’s play finally ca to a stop after they both got bored.
The next mont, the familiar door appeared, floating in the air after Lily summoned it. Not long after, the stair connecting it to the floor also erged.
“I will do as you said,” Lily smilingly comnted and then stepped up the steps.
With a clicking sound, the door opened as Lily entered the room. Not long after, it automatically closed with a bang, as the portal inside the room turned grey.
Aakesh’s smile disappeared as Lily left. His body then turned around, facing the entrance of the portal room. He took a step forward and proceeded toward it.
As usual, Aakesh’s eyes fell on the panagea leaderboard as soon as he stepped inside. Seeing that there was no change in the top hundred ranks, except for Lilith going up by a position, Aakesh moved his eyes away from it and looked toward the virtual portal..
Aakesh then touched the closest virtual portal with only the tip of his finger. The next mont, a suction force stronger than anything appeared and sucked him inside without giving him even a chance to fight back.
The next mont, Aakesh found himself in the sa spot he had left before exiting Panagea.
Yesterday was a busy day for Aakesh, as he not only ca across a top-level creature but also found himself in a ruin dedicated to one of the now dead Emperors.
At the sa ti, he also earned a level due to his candidate having a fortunate event that would change her life forever, while he also got a skill from the top creature. Unfortunately, he couldn’t use it for now, but soday it would be of great help to him.
Aakesh wasn’t very far from the spot where he had entered the place beyond the door. Aakesh suddenly had an urge to check whether the door was still there or not.
As Aakesh got the urge, he didn’t stop himself and rushed toward it.
In the end, Aakesh had to face disappointnt as the door had disappeared, and there was no way for Aakesh to reenter the space beyond it. The reason for Aakesh’s disappointnt was he wanted to ask a question to the beast that was helpless while he gathered a wisp of faith belonging to Emperor Anu.
Since there was no door, Aakesh decided to put the question to the back of his mind and forget about it. He would soday find the answer, but that day wasn’t today.
Aakesh then turned around and left the area as he was dangerously close to creatures over Level 250. Yesterday, he had the Anarchic Parasite with him, which would stop any dangerous being from coming close to him using its aura if he were to proceed ahead. But today, since Aakesh was on his own, he decided not to take the risk and die an unfortunate death.
Ti flew by, and a few hours has passed.
“Whoosh!”
“Whoosh!”
“Whoosh!”
ɴ[0)ᴠᴇʟ “Clang!”
“Clang!”
“Clang!”
At first, the sound of projectiles tearing through the air would ring, and not long after, the sound of tallic clashes would resonate in the entire area.
The reason for it was the ongoing fight between Aakesh and the tribe.
Sohow, while going on a hunt to gain so XPs, Aakesh had entered the area controlled by one of the tribes in the Dark Forest. Since it was Aakesh’s mistake, and he had no interest in conquering any land in his na, he decided to leave after getting an alert about it from one of the tribe mbers.
But for so reason, as Aakesh turned around to leave, they attacked him. Aakesh was never one to leave those who attacked him, so he counterattacked and killed the group of seven people that had attacked him on his back.
Unfortunately, the situation didn’t end there as sohow, there were other mbers nearby, which Aakesh had clearly failed to sense while traveling. After it happened, Aakesh was aware that things weren’t as simple as they looked.
No matter how strong a tribe was, they wouldn’t attack soone if the intruder accepted their demand to leave and started leaving. They would either strike at first without even warning or if when the intruder refused to heed their warning.
Nothing of the sort happened here. There was a warning, and Aakesh heeded it, but still, there was an attack on him. Aakesh had an indifference toward others, but that didn’t an he didn’t kill those who attempted to harm him in any way.
The situation then had co to this. Every ti, a group would arrive and attack Aakesh.
As soon as Aakesh killed the group, a newer group with increased strength would take the dead mber’s place and attack Aakesh.
If not for Aakesh’s unlimited endurance and ability to beat beings above his power level, Aakesh would have already died a cruel death since the group currently in front of him consisted of seven mbers and each of them was Level 245.
Ti flew by.
The battle started taking a turn for the worse, as the newest group consisted of seven people, with three of them being Level 245, two were Level 246, one was Level 248, and the last, who led the group from the front, was a Level 250.
“Adventurers, why did you kill so many of our mbers?” The Level 250 man asked Aakesh, with his eyes roaring anger toward Aakesh.
Aakesh had a cold face as his sword spoke in place of his mouth.
Even the Level 250 man didn’t expect any attack to co, so he was taken aback by the sudden situation. Fortunately for him, he was no weakling, so he didn’t lose his composure and got ready to defend himself, but unfortunately for him, Aakesh was also no pushover.
When Aakesh was only a hundred ters away from the man, suddenly the man felt the ground beneath him changing, and he started getting sinking.
The man suddenly had an ominous feeling in his heart, but it was all for naught, as the blue-skinned adventurer suddenly disappeared from the spot he was on, taking everyone by surprise.
The next mont, the sandy surface had disappeared, and the hard surface had returned. Not long after, a crashing sound rang as the man fell with his head falling soon after that.
