Talent and ethics were both required in the participant to win the challenge set by Arjuna. The daughter Lin Ren wanted to win was unfortunately only strong in one of them.
Her na was Lin i. Lin i was going to be precisely ten thousand years old in the next three days, but she was still a Tao Seed level cultivator. If not for Lin Ren’s exaggerated wealth and a large number of resources at his disposal, Lin i would have already died of the exhaustion of his lifespan.
Since Lin Ren had a large number of descendants, the competition between them was cutthroat. Many have died by killing themselves as they were unable to handle the mockings and the hard life they got from more powerful family mbers. If not for Lin Ren’s rule that killing was forbidden, many more would have died.
Lin i wasn’t the youngest or eldest of Lin Ren’s children, but still, she had been a favorite of his since her birth. The reason for the lack of talent in Lin i was her mother. She was going through an illness while giving birth to her daughter. Lin Ren sowhat blad himself for that, so Lin i had always been precious to him.
If not for Lin Ren’s support, Lin i’s life would have been even more miserable due to being so weak in a family full of talented people. The world was such where strength defined the respect of others for you, not your relations with them.
Due to being close to Lin Ren since her birth, Lin i had gained his character. She would treat others the sa respectful way her father used to do when he wasn’t an Emperor.
It was even joked to Lin Ren by so of those who knew him from earlier that he was making a female Lin Ren.
Since Lin Ren would give a few minutes of attendance every day to his daughter from his busy schedule, he learned everything was going on in her everyday life.
From these daily talks, Lin Ren learned of the store that had beco her recurring destination. Lin i was always mysterious about why she regularly went to the store, except for making Lin Ren sure that it wasn’t because of love but due to the store’s products.
From the mont Lin Ren had heard of the store, he wanted to go and check it since his favorite child was the regular visitor there. If sothing happened to her, he would never be able to forgive himself.
Unfortunately for Lin Ren, he never got the ti to visit the store since the Anga continent was very far from the Xirin Empire. But today, he finally decided to visit the store, ignoring the mountain of tasks left to do since Lin i’s ten thousandth birthday was coming up.
For people of Lin Ren’s age, celebrating these kinds of events with their family mbers showed that they still were alive in heart and not just in mind.
Lin Ren’s motive for the visit was to find out whether the store was suitable or not, if it were not, he would restrict Lin i’s movent here, and if it were, he would buy a present for her daughter’s birthday from here.
Thinking like this, without telling anyone, Lin Ren left the palace, then the Empire, and then the continent.
After traveling for around an hour, Lin Ren finally reached the extre southern parts of the Anga continent.
Lin Ren couldn’t help but nod in appreciation, seeing the extent to which the Bisan Kingdom had grown. Since it was also a Human force, instead of feeling competition, Lin Ren felt gratified.
Since Lin Ren liked the Kingdom, he decided to pay a visit to the King.
Lin Ren directly teleported to the royal palace in the Bisan Kingdom. Suddenly a sense of danger engulfed him and made his blood cold, but soon the effect disappeared as the ring he had worn in his hand had acted.
“Eh!”
“Eh!”
Two voices filled with startling exclamations rang at the sa ti.
Lin Ren looked in front only to see a female approaching him with a mixture of caution, surprise, and determined face.
“Who are you, and what’s your purpose for coming to my palace?” Brinda’s face turned calm as the soothing effect of the badge arrived, and she asked.
It was the first ti she had seen the badge failing to co at the top but a draw, and hence she got surprised.
Lin Ren, on the other hand, also got surprised since he was a peak Emperor with pseudo divine physique, and he got scared. If not for the ring in his hands, he didn’t even know what the outco would have been.
The ring was none other than the artifact left for the Emperor of the Xirin Empire. It was made by none other than Arjuna’s son from the Dwarf race, who had the greatest talent in smithing in the history of the Primal dinsion.
Even though the badge was made by Aakesh, who himself knew about smithing more than any other living creature in the Primal or Sacred dinsion, it was a defensive one. Lin Ren thought that the ring had defended him, and Brinda thought that the badge had failed, while both of them were wrong in their judgnt.
It was the badge that took back the attack after seeing through the heart of the intruder. If Lin Ren had any thoughts of taking over the Kingdom or harming the King, his result would have been the sa as others who attempted to do the things.
Lin Ren’s pure and sincere heart made him survive this situation, not a ring made by Arjuna’s son.
The surprise on Lin Ren’s face disappeared, and instead, a smile appeared as he had just gotten the information from the ring that it hadn’t defended him, but the attack automatically got taken back. Instead of feeling fearful, he genuinely felt curious about the thing that made him feel fear and even had the strength to defeat the spirit in the ring.
“No need to feel cautious. I just ca here to see the fellow human King who made this great Kingdom,” Lin Ren smilingly responded.
